My husband and I were looking at homes in Austin and after several tours with our agent, one of the Mosier Luxury Homes that had been previously built caught our eye. We asked our agent if they knew the builders and thankfully they did. We were introduced to the Mosier's and began working with them in August of 2021 on our home. My husband and I had never been through this process, and were in the middle of packing/preparing for a relocation and selling our other home so the level of stress was already high. Amy and Adam made this process tremendously easy. The level of communication, integrity, and care they put in to everything they do is unmatched. They were with us every single step of the way from appliance selections, cabinetry, to landscaping. Once we moved to Austin and while the home was being built we worked with Amy and Jackie on the interior design for the home and just like the build it's been a pleasure. They are very well networked in the area so anything we've needed recommendations on they knew the right person or place. It's important that you enjoy working with the individuals when you are doing something life changing like building a home and making it your own. The Mosier's made us feel like a part of their family, and are some of the most exceptional and genuine people. We have now moved in and could not be happier. It's truly the perfect home for us. We are very grateful and highly recommend MLH.

We initiated and completed a challenging 2 year teardown project with Amy & Adam. This included site selection and purchase, architecture and design, permits and city inspectors navigation, to demolition & construction. Foundation pouring, framing (steel and wood) to the finishing needs of landscaping and "punch out". Amy & Adams experience and expertise really shows in the design and planning phase, and navigating the inevitable twists and turns that occur during construction. This was very valuable during the challenging year of 2020. Their communication style is collaborative, they take the time to discover what the client really desires, their suggestions and direction is geared towards this goal. There are so many design choices in a large project, we found it very helpful to have their guidance to narrow these choices to a much more manageable level, and towards the end design / functional home we mutually envisioned. They spend the project money prudently to maximize quality, value and functionality. Their smaller size is valuable for a more boutique, specialized project with a less impacted time schedule. Larger firms might have more "horsepower" in commanding labor and subs to expedite things, but this could be at the expense of quality and thoughtful design, or changes that might be implemented project. At the end of the day, we are very happy with our new home and thankful we worked with them.

The process started with several meetings with Adam, Amy and our architect Vani. We each gave our input as we developed our design preferences. The plans were prepared and submitted to the city and promptly approved. Having both the designer (Amy) and builder (Adam) as a package streamlined the process while always taking into account our budget. When extra costs arose, due to design choices or unexpected building issues, this was brought to our attention immediately. Amy used every opportunity during selections to learn our taste. Amy was excellent at envisioning the flow of our requests and bringing them to life. Amy was well informed about all materials and able to tell us how and where they should be used, the pros & cons, costs, and how they wear over time. Amy & Adam were always available and regularly on site. Adam prepped for subcontractors, and in turn, the subs worked in a timely manner. All the while demanding high quality work. When challenges during construction arose, Adam seemed to thrive on solving them rather than becoming frustrated. With the diligent work of Amy, Adam and their crew, we now live in our dream home. There are endless areas around the house inside and out where we can enjoy the details that were imagined by us and brought to life by them.

In the past twenty-five years of living in Austin my wife and I have contracted and built three custom homes. This was our first total remodel which involved taking a mid-century home down to the studs. Mosier Luxury Homes did a remarkable job. The attention to detail, constant communication during every step of the process, as well as full transparency of all expenditures to us as the client was fantastic. The professional way that owners Adam and Amy Mosier dealt with us and treated us was extraordinary. Through the building process they both were willing to assist and guide us through the many decisions and worked with us to find solutions with a team approach. During the COVID pandemic which hit during our remodel, Mosier Luxury Homes insured the sub-contractors practiced safe protocols while on the job site. Amy and Adam are not only good people but an amazing combo design and building experience. They came highly recommended by our architect (Vani @ Workshop No. 5) and they were able to partner with her to give us as close as you can get to a design build experience w/o everyone being under the same roof. They were willing to work with us to make sure the design matched our budget expectations and were always transparent about what was / wasn't within reach. That made it an easy decision to move forward with them and we are so glad we did. This was our third remodeling project (and the most expansive) and this was by far the best experience we have had. Anytime you start altering an existing structure, there is potential for unknowns to take the project off course. The "surprises" that came up were met with well thought out, methodical approaches to get us what we wanted without adding too much time or driving up costs. Adam's organization, professionalism, attention to detail was truly appreciated and Amy's keen eye for design and seeing the big picture helped to make the final product worth our time and investment. We are so thankful for them and have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

We really enjoyed working with Adam and Amy. We bought a house they were in the process of renovating (with the structure and floor plan already set) and it gave us a great opportunity to put some of our own touches into the house while leveraging their expertise in design. Amy did a great job of giving us a set of suggestions to choose from while also voicing her own opinion on what would look the best (which we generally followed). Adam was very responsive to questions and concerns around schedule and cost. I was also very happy with the post-sale support. Adam helped us address small issues 6 months after close and was just as responsive as he was before the sale closed. As I would expect with any project of this size there were issues that we had to solve with Adam and Amy. Even when we didn't agree initially we were always able to figure them out. Any client should also be aware that this isn't a huge organization. That comes with a lot of benefits, including the ones I mentioned above, and lower overhead. That said, administrative stuff like allowance accounting and schedule management may feel a little less structured. With that said, they were always transparent with us and I would definitely work with them again.

Start to Finish & Beyond, this company provided individual service of the highest quality. Both Adam and Amy were always there to answer questions whenever they came up, even after a year in the house they are willing to help in whatever way they can. They want you satisfied.

We began working with Adam and Amy Mosier of Austin Modern Properties in early 2018. The project was to semi-customize a spec home they had planned before the original property had even been demolished. At the outset, they both put us at ease. They gave us carte blanche to decide how to outfit the home with the offer from Amy to help us design the home throughout the entire process. We also had free range to change the actual structure of the home and we did make significant changes. Now that we are living in our new home, we could not be any happier. They were always available to answer our questions, no matter how small. We changed things along the way in terms of design – nothing was ever a problem and they worked with us tirelessly to create our dream home. They were both candid, friendly and honest throughout the process. We have now been living in our home for one month. Everything we asked for is being addressed. Nothing was denied and, in fact, Adam elected to address things in the final home that we never considered. He has personally been working in the home to address our last few needs. I am not sure we could have ever gotten this level of attention from any other builder. The building quality is excellent. The design input was extremely valuable. As a result, we have a beautiful long term home in which we will be raising our kids. We feel they cared about our home like it was their own. We would recommend them as highly as is possible for every aspect of the building process.

Amy & Adam helped make our dream a reality! My wife and I met them for coffee one morning to discuss our project and right away we could see we had found a truly special team. We had an open and honest conversation about our goals and they provided a concise outline describing their process. Again, we could tell the focus was on us and our project needs -- this had not been the case in the several builder/general contractor interviews we had conducted before hand. These two were special. Then, they helped us to do the near-impossible. I cannot accentuate this enough. Adam & Amy were faced with the enormous challenge of having us live in the home while the remodel was taking place and we were about to have our second child. Yes, our daughter was born while our project was underway. Adam and Amy, parents themselves, remained calm, collected, and focused on hitting critical dates, and provided an ever-present line of communication. Amy has a designer's eye -- she is well-connected with suppliers in and around Austin. She was instrumental in helping us pick and decide on finishing that would fit the aesthetic we had envisioned. By the close of the project, we completely trusted Amy with making design choices. We were completely in sync. Adam manages his team (internal and subcontractors) effectively -- he keeps them on task and always made a huge effort to keep us informed of their progress. One thing to call out here -- Adam has a critical eye for detail and a propensity for high-quality construction. He would visit the site daily to review work and course correct to fit his standards. This was hugely appreciated and resulted in a superior product. We are forever thankful for their efforts -- they truly turned our home into a place where we can raise our family comfortably. We used AMP for renovation of our dated townhome. The space was stuck in the 1980’s with plenty of wasted room and unnecessary walls. Adam and Amy listened to what our vision was for the house and provided excellent guidance along the way. When we made some suggestions on changes that they thought we might later regret, they provided us with good reasons for taking a different approach. We listened to their advice. The result is that we couldn’t be happier about how things turned out. The space is updated and makes great use of the square footage. The finishes are outstanding and our vision was achieved. We are looking forward to many years of enjoying what they helped to create. I would highly recommend Austin Modern Properties.
