Michelle was such a pleasure to work with. She’s extremely professional, knowledgeable, and has a fantastic design eye. I can’t express how happy I am with the results (she helped me remodel our powder room). I really trust Michelle’s expertise and was able to defer to her when I was experiencing decision paralysis and I’m so happy I’d did! Sometimes I just stand in the bathroom to admire it! I definitely plan to continue working with Michelle on future design projects.

Michelle has been extremely organized, very hands-on, able to execute my ideas thoughtfully and able to bring some really special new ideas to our home.

I began working with Michelle and Perceptions Interiors last fall, and I could not be happier with the results. My house is now my dream home! She "gets" me. Which is amazing, because I pretty much had no idea what I wanted or what my design style was when we began five months ago. She somehow read my mind and now my home is exactly what I wanted. I have no idea how she did that! AND, we had the most wonderful time doing the project together. Which was an unexpected bonus. Michelle is a true artist, but she is also an excellent project manager. This meant that she pretty much took care of everything, and the process was stress-free for me. And, she knows how to be frugal - when a price is too high she will look for a better one. She respected my budget and listened to what was important to me. I would recommend anyone to work with Michelle!

We worked with Michelle and Perception Interiors on a pretty comprehensive renovation and design of our 102 year old single family house in DC. We were going for contemporary style within a historic home and Michelle nailed it. She always gave us multiple options and we always fell in love with one of them. She was very respectful of our budget and revised proposals several times to cut our costs. She completed a ton of work in record time. Sitting in our gorgeous new master suite today, I am so grateful to her!
