Review for Riverside Design and Build – Highest Recommendation I cannot recommend Riverside Design and Build highly enough, specifically Michele Rudolph, the architect, and Marc Vandenhoeck, the contractor/builder! Our journey with them was nothing short of exceptional. We were initially captivated by Michele's stunning architectural rendering of a mid-century style house, which ultimately led us to hire her and Marc for our project. From the very moment we commenced the project until the last detail was finalized, working with Michele and Marc was an absolute pleasure. The house they designed feels like it was tailor-made for the site where it stands. They expertly utilized the property to enhance the beauty of the landscape, incorporating massive windows that seamlessly blend the indoors with the outdoors. The result is a space that feels open and welcoming, and it truly is a joy to inhabit. Every aspect of the design exudes elegance while also providing a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Michele and Marc’s collaboration was a perfect balance of creativity and practicality. When we first saw Riverside Design and Build's intriguing illustration for a modern barn new house on a water view property we were considering, we were blown away. When we visited the property and met Marc and Michele, we knew right away that their vision captured what we were looking for. We had built and renovated several homes over the years. Working with a DesignBuild firm was something new, but we saw real benefits to a one stop shopping approach. Marc and Michele's vision and expertise helped guide us to turn that vision into a magnificent light-filled custom home that we truly love. Marc is an excellent builder with a terrific team of highly skilled workers. He presented us with various options to consider and was always open to the many changes we made during construction. It was very much a collaborative effort. Michele is a truly gifted architect who transformed our ideas into thoughfully designed spaces with fine finishes and elegant details which Marc and his team executed beautifully. Every room is a pleasure to be in, built with care and quality. We could not be happier with our new home. Katy and I give Riverside Design our very highest recommendation.

Our decision to work with Riverside Design and Build was the best decision we could have made. From the start, they knew what questions to ask to get a sense of what we were hoping to accomplish. It was clear from the first set of plans that they took our preferences into account in crafting the plans. And, that attentiveness to what we were looking for continued as the project proceeded. We bought a home from Riverside Design + Build and could not be happier with the amazing house that they built! While walking through the home you quickly realize that close attention was paid to every detail, down to things which one may find menial such as placement of a light switch or outlet. The craftsmanship that Marc and Michele are known for is unparalleled in our area and we are so grateful to the two of them for their hardwork and dedication to each project they undertake. We will surely miss living in this wonderfully well-constructed home whenever we move, but plan to keep up the friendship we've built with Riverside Design + Build!

After falling in love with a house designed and built by Riverside Design and Build, we commissioned them for our own custom home. Marc and Michele helped analyze property choices and drew up several schematic designs for us to review and fine tune. They were extremely attentive, professional, and stayed within the costs we agreed to. They handled every aspect from all of the site work, securing permits, approvals, and well as all of the architectural design work and construction. Riverside Design and Build delivers a streamlined process as promised, no headaches. I should add that Marc and Michele are truly great to work with – very responsive, a terrific team, and they have the expertise required for a complex project.

We commissioned Riverside to design and build a new house in NY. Marc and Michele were great to work with from design through construction. They were responsive to our family’s requests for our house, designed and built an outdoor fireplace and pool, custom designed beautiful exterior and interior details, and stayed on budget.
