Nichols Design Works

We worked with Nichols Design this spring for assistance in designing a totally new bathroom and walk-in closet. Brad was professional, responsive to our timeline and very helpful with suggestions and design choices. Design drawings provided for our contractor were accurate and useful. We found this to be a pleasant experience!

We used Brad to design our kitchen remodel/expansion, and he was great. We met with him and gave him some ideas of what we wanted, and also the general feel we were looking for. He came up with several designs to consider, and some great ideas that we hadn't thought of, such as pantries and sky lights. We chose the design we liked best and worked with Brad on all the details. For example, we expanded our kitchen by 7 feet, and didn't want a flat roof on the new part. Brad designed the roof so it looks like part of the original structure. He prepared the drawings to submit for permits, worked with our contractor and was available throughout the build process. Our kitchen has a very open feel and that is due to Brad's great design. We love all the windows and light that flows in. The placement of the appliances is perfect and everything turned out great.

Our young family of four was busting at the seams of our 2/1, so we enlisted the help of Brad to expand our 1939 bungalow. Our scope was to add a master bed/bath plus a complete kitchen renovation. Brad listened to our every need and provided great feedback during the design stage; therefore minimal modification was needed! During the construction phase, as with any project, there were some quandaries where Brad was easily accessible and offered sound advice and creative resolutions. The project is now complete and we felt that he captured everything we asked. We couldn't have done this transformation without him! Needless to say, we highly recommend Brad. He is trustworthy, professional, extremely knowledgable, attentive, patient and simply a great guy to work with!

Bradford is very professional, incredibly friendly and displayed excellent follow through with the design for our new bathroom. Anytime we had a question or needed a slight modification, he took care of it immediately. I can't recommend him enough.

We had a full remodel plus an addition to accomplish. N.D.W. (a.k.a. Brad) was an excellent choice for us. He was extremely professional and attentive to our needs and concerns. Although we had a fairly good understanding of our desired layout in advance, Brad was able to offer suggestions that we hadn't considered. We threw many last minute changes his way and he always handled them efficiently allowing us to stay on schedule. Brad was literally the only stress free part to our major remodel. It was great having him involved from the start and helping us to achieve our goals. Thanks Brad.

Brad drew up plans for a kitchen renovation. He was always on time, always listened to us, frequently gave us guidance that made sense in the end. We are so sorry he moved!
