My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I worked with Angelee Marques of Nest Interior Design just recently on an architectural commission to transform a barn structure into a commercial space for a local winery in Middleburg, Virginia. She was wonderful to collaborate with throughout the process and brought great design ideas to the table. Angelee had a clear sense of how to create spaces that were both beautiful and appropriate for the character of the winery. I also loved the mural she chose for the project, and her choice of color in response to a clients request. She was easy to communicate with, worked well with the project team, and brought a thoughtful, professional approach to the work. I really enjoyed collaborating with her and would gladly recommend Nest Interior Design to anyone looking for a talented interior designer.

We had an exceptional experience working with Angelee / Nest Interior Design Studio on our recent basement remodel. She was truly a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Angelee was consistently open, patient, and receptive to our input. She also brought thoughtful, out-of-the-box ideas to the table — some of which we initially hesitated on, but ultimately embraced after seeing her vision come together. We're so glad we did. The finished product is fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We would happily and confidently recommend her for any project (actually, we already have!) and very much look forward to working with her again in the future. Angelee is simply AMAZING! She really listened to what I wanted and took her expertise to transform my house beyond my imagination. It is not only show-stopping but so much more functional as well. She truly has an eye and gift for designing. She never pushed her own agenda but blended what I wanted with up-to-date styles and details. I especially love all the light fixtures she picked for my house. Angelee always gave me many choices to choose from and if I didn't like those she worked hard to find me more. I highly, highly recommend Angelee! Everyone who has come over to see the beautiful transformation immediately wants her number!

Angelee has been fabulous design partner to work with!! She incorporates our colors, interests and patterns to completely give the space a new life and meaning!! After we finished two levels of renovation with her expertise, we came back to Angelee to complete upper level. I was in the process of converting my basement from a playroom to an older kid/adult space. Angelee was so helpful in narrowing down my choices and helping me make decisions on paint colors and design. I knew I wanted gray with dark blues and she was able to pull from the hundreds of color choices a few ones that met my criteria, making it so much easier for me to choose from. She also helped me decide where to add accent walls and introduced me to the idea of painting doors. The final result was amazing and I still receive compliments on how great the basement looks! Angelee is incredibly easy to work with and has the fantastic ability to build off your vision and make it come to life.

Angelee of Nest Interior Decor helped with the selections for our new screened in porch and patio. She clearly has impeccable taste and was helped us pick furniture and decorations that are beautiful, comfortable and useful. With her help with the design, our builder was able to win a regional award for the project. The professional photographer who takes house pictures all day, every day was extremely complimentary of her selections, commenting repeatedly on how great it looked and how well the decor pulled the entire project together. We are very grateful that we choose Nest Interior Decor.

Angelee from Nest interior Decor has been working with me on my new and much larger home for almost 18 months now. I keep thinking of new things to do! She has fresh, new ideas and works with a great balance of keeping within our family's style, but bringing us a wee bit out of our comfort zone to try something fresh and more with the times. :) As I look through the many rooms of my home we've worked on together, some of the pieces I love the best and love to look at are ones Angelee chose for me, that I never would have picked myself. I also really appreciate how she does not let me make a rushed decision to get a room done quickly (I've tried a few times... Ha!). She slows me down and makes smarter, nicer choices even if it means a little more patience on my part. Yet, when needed, she also has shown some serious hustle when we've had a rushed project with a tight deadline. She puts her all into her work and does it right. I've been really wowed by her resources, her eye for design, her work style and it's been fun working with her!

Working with Angelee was a delight! She helped us organize a plan for the room we were re decorating. She worked with our budget as well.. helping us narrow down what would really work for the space. Some of the items she helped us find have become my favorite pieces of furniture in the house. Her easy going friendly approach made it such a wonderful experience
