Boston Premier Remodeling did our bathroom renovation. Nick was fabulous to work with. His vendors were high quality and we were super happy with the end result, There were a few hiccups as there always is with a renovation, one that we had was defective tiles. Nick immediately brought this to our attention and helped us to find a solution. What we loved most about working with Nick was his responsiveness. Whenever we had a question. He was always reachable. Overall, a very pleasant experience start to finish.

Boston Premier Remodeling is fantastic! Nick and his team produce high quality work, are attentive to detail, strive for perfection, and are good human beings. After seeing them every day for a month, I was sorry to see them go! Nick, his carpenters, and his subcontractors are skilled craftspeople, and they are polite, honest, and straightforward to boot. Nick delivers on his promises, is clear about expectations and outcomes, is fair and reasonable in his pricing, schedules work efficiently (there was not a single wasted day during my project) and offers useful (and often money-saving) suggestions. I hired BPR to do a series of small renovations in a condo I bought in a historic building. Together, the small renovations added up to a complex project. Nick charges for projects based on time and materials, which at first made me nervous about what the total bill would be because it seemed so open-ended. However, he told me ahead of time that he thought his carpentry team would need to work on the job for 4 weeks, and that is almost precisely what ended up happening. There was an overage of a couple of days, but this was entirely due to changes I made to the work specs, or errors my designers made. For each of these hiccups Nick worked hard to make sure they could be dealt with effectively and efficiently, keeping the momentum of the project going. In the end, the total price he charged me for his team’s work and that of the subcontractors he hired and supervised on my behalf was less than half the amount of the bid I received from a well-known and respected contractor recommended by my designer. More importantly, I couldn’t be happier with the result. Every aspect of the project was completed perfectly, and the outcome was even better than I imagined it would be. Nick Marchewka and the entire Boston Premier Remodeling team are the best!

Nick was a great partner to work with throughout my bathroom remodel experience. From the first call on which he explained his operating model through to the end, Nick was responsive, thorough, and practical. We hired Boston Premier Remodeling for two jobs - a kitchen remodel and, later, the remodel of a closet to a laundry room. Both projects were completed on time and totally according to our plans and expectations. We had no complaints at all. Both jobs were done when we were out of town. I can’t believe that Boston Premier did such a splendid job. Nick and his crew went out of their way to make the whole process so easy. Nick is not only the nicest person in Boston - but all of the subcontractors and people he works with are equally nice in addition to doing fantastic work. He is completely transparent about pricing and there were no surprises along the way. All of the subcontractors really made sure to finish the work within the time frame estimated. Recommended with great enthusiasm.

Boston Premier Remodeling did a fantastic job. We have no reservation whatsoever in recommending them. We had to demolish and rebuild a kitchen, bathroom and dining room when a pipe burst and flooded that area. Nick’s business model is fair. His crew worked on a flat daily rate. He charged us his cost for all materials and took a reasonable GC fee on the subs. In addition, he kept everyone on schedule, including at the end, when he coordinated his painters and hardwood sub with our movers, so we did not pay for even one extra day’s lodging when we had to move out. His crew was wonderful with framing, carpentry, drywall, laying tiles and installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets. One small example of the care they took: When they laid a tile floor in a room at the bottom of a flight of stairs, they did not just lay the first row along the wall but instead cut the tile such that the grout line was perfectly centered on the stairs. The grout line lines up perfectly with the patterned carpet stair runner. The crew and all the subs (plumbing, electrical, painting and hardwood floors) cared deeply about doing quality work. When faced with a choice, they always asked us for our preference, to make sure we were happy. We would hire Boston Premier Remodeling again in a heartbeat. I am incredibly happy with the work Nick and his team at Boston Premier Remodeling did for my kitchen remodel. Nick is, without a doubt, the most organized, professional, and communicative contractor I've worked with. When I first contacted him, he walked me through their process, simple pricing structure, and what to expect/caveats we might see along the way. He prepped us on how to time demolition, electrical and plumbing work, and carpentry around our constraints (cabinet and appliance delivery, etc.) and seemed to nail the timing down to the day. He set a schedule, but was flexible along the way to help avoid delays due to waiting on a delivery, a different trade, or city inspection. His carpenters were skillful and did high quality finish work. The electrical and plumbing subs he brought in were excellent and all seemed to work together well. Everyone was respectful about our space and did their best to help make our house livable during the construction. I feel like after finishing this project I have my team for anything I might need in the future. I've already recommended Nick to several friends in the area and expect I'll be hiring them again soon for whatever comes up next.

Nick and his team helped us remodel a kitchen and bathroom in our rental unit. It was very important to us that the work be completed before the September 1st move-in date in Boston and he delivered it to us early. Nick is very easy to work with, his carpenters are very skilled and exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with all of the subcontractors he recommended and he was also flexible in letting us source our own if we wanted. The work came out really well and we received lots of compliments on it. Nick came recommended from a colleague and I would not hesitate to recommend him also.

The highlight of moving into my new house was putting my own touches on it. I really wanted my living room to be a place that invites people to sit, talk, and connect the way that I saw growing up. Nick and his team at BPR made that happen. To start with the most foundational, they were punctual, communicative, receptive to new ideas, and flexible to meet my changing schedule. But to be honest, that was just the tip of the iceberg. The team of Christian and Levi put me at ease. They answered my questions about the project and then we were able to connect about shared taste, in everything from music to travel to living in Boston. What's more, when they left, not only was the work EXACTLY what i envisioned it would be, they left the house in near pristine condition. I am extremely happy with the work that they did, and I also really appreciate that they left my place immaculate. You wouldn’t have even known they were there! Absolutely outstanding service! Nothing I write here will do justice to how professional this company is. I just remodeled my apartment. A process I thought was going to be a nightmare, but ended up being remarkably enjoyable. Their final execution is impecable and it was done on time. Nick Marchewka and his team did a great job of a total bathroom renovation on the first floor of our multi-family, three story house while repairing various problems in the bathroom on the second floor. I have had terrific experiences working with Boston Premier and its owner, Nick Marchewka. I have used them for two extensive condo remodeling projects. The most recent one was in an old historic building which made the work more labor intensive and time consuming. Still, I am thrilled by the result. Nick does a great job as a GC sequencing his subs and Nick’s carpenters do very high quality work. Importantly, Nick keeps downtime at a minimum so the project is always moving forward. He is very accessible and accommodating in fixing the inevitable problems that arise in a construction project. I highly recommend Boston Premier.

We hired Nick and his team to build a powder room in our condo. As complete newbies to the whole process, we really appreciated 1) the time he took to give us an upfront ballpark cost estimate and explanation of the process, 2) his speedy responsiveness, and 3) his flexibility regarding changes that were introduced partway through the building process. We were introduced to a great team of carpenters, plumber, and electrician, who were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

Boston Premier performed some interior remodeling in my home, which included demolition, reconstruction of walls, and finishing work. The final product looks great and the contractor was easy to work with when we encountered hidden unknowns behind the walls. The work was done as scheduled and quoted. And they showed up on time every day. I felt very comfortable with the contractors in my home without me there, and they were very tidy. I felt they respected my home at all times. I'd hire them again.

I had Boston Premier Remodeling renovate my guest bathroom. Nick was a great at communicating throughout the process, and his team was excellent. We had a bit of a setback the first week when the tub I ordered was delivered with a chip in it, but Nick and his plumber handled all of the issues related to reordering and getting a new one delivered. The rest of the project went smoothly and I'm thrilled with the final result. The project was right on budget (a little under, actually!).

We hired Nick & his team to re-tile our fireplace. They did a beautiful job on the tile, created a flush hearth for us and even rebuilt the mantle. The work was quick and efficient. We love the finished product! We will definitely be recommending and hiring Boston Premier Remodeling in the future.

Nick and his team did indoor carpentry work for our new house; they were easy to work with, helped us plan and troubleshoot as the project started, and adapted to any changes along the way. They built us a new closet and were able to salvage the old custom trim for much of it, and also replicate the trim and crown molding where it was lacking in order to match the rest of the historic home. They also identified some woodwork that was in need of replacement that we had not initially seen, and worked with us to come up with a good solution while doing the additional work without extending their timeline. The end project is outstanding - everything fits in perfectly with the rest of the home and it gives us a great new space to move into.

I hired them twice. The first project was to renovate two kids' bathrooms. The second was to refinish basement bathroom, family room and gym. They did great jobs on both projects and I am planning to hire them again to renovate master bathroom next year.

I hired Boston Premier Remodeling to do a complete bathroom remodel, including demolition and removal of walls and floors, re-build of same, modest electrical alteration, plumbing, tiled shower and floors, carpentry and painting. I am happy with the finished product. The final budget was close to what was estimated and the look was exactly what I asked for. We recently bought a condominium in Boston's South End where Boston Premier Remodeling was the general contractor for a developer combining two units into the one larger unit that we subsequently purchased. We were impressed with the quality of the finishes and the attention to detail in the unit, so had no hesitation in asking Nick Marchewka and his team to undertake a package of specific modifications to suit our requirements before moving into the unit. This included selective demo, drywall, carpentry, tiling, electrical and plumbing which were all handled very capably by Nick's in-house team and his specialist sub contractors. The work was all completed to our satisfaction, within the budget parameters that we had agreed. Nick and his team of Walter and Ronnie did a terrific job on our home remodeling project and completed it in record time. The kitchen backsplash looks like one solid stone of marble giving the whole kitchen an expansive look. You cannot see any grout lines. This exceeded my expectations. The heated floors and tiling in the bathrooms is equally impressive. They also expanded our washer/dryer closet and built some wonderful bookshelves. They also did a lot of patching from electric work that was being done. Walter, especially, has a can-do attitude and took care of a lot of last minute things that I sent in his direction. They have an excellent work ethic; always showed up exactly at 8am and worked till the end of the day. They showed up for work even when a snow emergency was declared--something I did not expect. Nick's contract is straightforward, although, I would have preferred some additional details like cost of trash removal and cost of additional crew to be included in the contract. Nick is easy to get a hold of and is very responsive. I have recommended him to other residents and will use him again. Great job overall. Highly recommended them.

I was a first time renovator and Nick made the process so easy. The most helpful for me was that he would make recommendations for how to handle certain details of the project and I could be as involved (or not) as I wanted. When talking to Nick I felt comfortable that he understood what I was hoping for and knew that his recommendations would meet my expectations. And they did!

Nick and his team are fantastic. I hired Nick to build a few sets of custom cabinets and book cases in my South End condo and I believe it was some of the best money spent on my project. Nick is incredibly professional, delivers on time AND is incredibly responsive which you do not always find in this business. Nick gave me great ideas on the design of the custom built ins, and instillation of custom barn doors. He and his workers were responsive and on-time. They involved me when appropriate, and gave me great suggestions on solutions to any issues that arose during construction. They finished the job on time and on budget. The workmanship is excellent. Nick was extremely proactive. I never had to reach out to him to ask him when he or his team was going to show up, start, or finish the job. Its rare to find a construction company that is so responsive, competent, high quality and fairly priced. I will absolutely use Boston Premier Remodeling for all of my future projects and I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

When we decided to remodel our bathroom and install a washer/dryer in our apartment while we were living here, we were nervous about the process. Fortunately, we found Nick. He kept our project on budget and on time. He kept us informed every step of the way and answered all of our questions within 24 hours. He even went above and beyond, helping us with finishing items after the project was complete. I would happily recommend Nick and we plan to use him for our own future projects.

Nick and his team were great to work with. I was impressed during our first meeting because Nick was the first contractor we met with that didn't yes us to death and wasn't afraid to tell us his honest opinion about our plans. Nick's crew worked six 10 hours days per week, were always on time, extremely polite, and left the house clean each night. We gutted two bathrooms and rebuild them from scratch. Nick was great at coordinating his crew, electricians, plumbers, and inspectors so I didn't have to worry about a thing. He came in at or slightly under budget and more importantly to me, finished on time. My wife went into labor towards the end of the project and to make sure it was finished before we returned home Nick added an extra person to his crew in the final day at no added cost. We hired Nick to build some custom shelving into the back wall of our South End condo, and were very satisfied with the results. He was a great communicator, and I believe he guided us appropriately with regards to the cost and final product. We found him and his team to be very professional, responsive, and able to provide different options whenever we had questions. We asked him to keep the project on a 10 day timeline, and he was able to meet that deadline with masterful results. We felt very comfortable working with Nick and his team and would absolutely recommend him for any home improvement projects. His carpentry work was first rate, and I will likely will use him for our kitchen upgrade in the future.

Nick was fantastic to work with. The pricing and quotes were reasonable and accurate. In fact, the labor costs came in under the estimate. Nick's crew were polite and the quality of the work is great. Most incredible of all, every time he said something would happen, it did on time and on schedule -- electrician, plumber, inspections, everything. Even when unforeseen issues came up that were not under Nick's control -- the counter top I purchased, took a little longer than I expected, for example - Nick still managed to get his team to work with the revised schedule so I wouldn't lose any more time. BPR served as contractor for a complete kitchen renovation. Everything went smoothly, and the project finished on time and within budget. The subcontractors (electric, carpentry, tiling, flooring, general) BPR hired were competent and cared about the quality of work. We also liked the way BPR charged for services: per day rather for the entire project.

It was a pleasure working with Nick and the entire crew at Boston Premier Remodeling. We are extremely pleased with the built-ins that were custom built for our living and family room. The team took our design vision and made it a reality through a truly collaborative effort. We were reassured from the start by Nick's communication style. I fully recommend Boston Premier Remodeling for their professionalism and quality of work. I worked directly with Nick Marchewka for my project and was thoroughly impressed by him. I was still based in New York while the apartment Nick and his team worked on was in Boston. I was nervous at first that I wouldn't be able to see the progress and results of decisions we made in person but Nick kept me updated every step of the way with texts, phone calls, emails, and photos. His response time to calls and emails was almost immediate. Nick was conscious of my budget and stuck to it. All deadlines were met exactly as discussed. Nick and I worked together to design custom built in's for my bedroom as well as a custom closet. He helped me pick the materials and design the layout for both when I showed him a very crude sketch I had drawn of what I envisioned. His team painted my entire apartment including the original crown moldings, which are very detailed. They also moved my electrical outlets (without leaving a trace of the giant holes), fixed some plumbing issues in my kitchen, and installed new lights. The quality of the work when I saw it for the first time took my breath away! They truly did a wonderful job. Months later after the project was completed I reached out to Nick to ask if he knew anyone who could install a large mirror in my apartment. He sent one of his team members over to my apartment right away even though they typically do not do such small jobs. He clearly values his relationships with his clients and it shows!

We hired Nick based on a reference from our realtor and couldn't have been more pleased! While our space was small, we needed to gut renovate our entire South End condo. We were happy to have the autonomy to choose every detail, but also grateful for Nick's depth of knowledge to guide our search. Nick does a great job, is very communicative and honest, and is affordable. We would gladly use him again! Our realtor suggested Nick to do some remodeling work on our South End condo in a ten-day window between when we closed on the house and when we moved in. This included repainting, putting in ceiling lighting, resealing a roof deck, resealing wood floors, and other odds and ends (e.g. leveling off a crooked door, touch ups). Nick was very honest with us about the costs and time that things could take, and was very conservative in his estimates (we got more done than he thought we would). Throughout the whole process of deciding what needed to be done, Nick was very helpful. When the time came for the remodeling, Nick hired a great team that did top-notch work. He was there every day and responded promptly when I raised any questions or concerns. The work was done on-time and budget, and we were very happy with the results. Best of all, Nick was very simple about his pricing: you pay for labor and his costs on materials (e.g. the price at Home Depot). No gimmicks. No markups. Given the high-quality work he was doing, I found the labor rates to be reasonable. Overall a great experience, and I have recommended Nick to friends and would not hesitate to use him again.
