We have used Nick and crew for several projects, the most recent being a substantial remodeling of our master bathroom. Nick and the people who work with him are all trustworthy, friendly and terrific craftsmen. They're also people you wouldn't hesitate to invite over to dinner! Should we need to do additional work on the house, we would not hesitate to contact him again. Our house was built in 1890 so no wall opened during the course of renovation comes without surprises. Nick is great at problem-solving so those surprises are less worrisome. In short, my wife and I would not hesitate to recommend Nick and crew to friends or family no matter how involved the project.

In our 1800's era home we had a fairly functional but inelegant staircase that had recently been subjected to inexpert furniture moving (mine), resulting in a damaged handrail and several balusters pulled completely loose. We started off thinking of just replacing parts and doing a simple update to the paint and the runner. But Nick suggested an innovative tread remodeling approach that would be a much better option for that space. He then turned it over to his team of meticulous craftsmen, whose precise wood finish work and carefully applied layers of stain and protection resulted in a dignified oak staircase with iron balusters that warmly welcomes front-door visitors.

We cannot say enough great things about Nick and his team. From start to finish, this was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had with a contractor. They completed a master bathroom, kids’ bathroom, and repairs from ice dam damage—and managed an incredibly complex scope of work that included plumbing, tile, painting, insulation, electrical, demo, and carpentry. Every single person on the team was professional, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. What really set them apart was their communication and attention to detail. Throughout the entire month-long project, we always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and where things stood. There were no surprises—timelines were met, and all budget details were clearly outlined and honored from the beginning. The craftsmanship is exceptional. Everything was done with precision, care, and a level of quality that exceeded our expectations. And somehow, despite the scale of the project, they left our home clean and organized at the end of each day, which made a huge difference for our family. Most importantly, what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience simply wasn’t. Nick and his team made the entire process feel smooth, manageable, and even enjoyable at times. We feel incredibly lucky to have worked with them and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone. If you’re considering hiring Nick and his team—do it. You will not regret it.

We had our family room renovated by Nick. This included removal of old built ins and installation of hardwood flooring. Nick was incredibly professional and knowledgable, and took the time to understand our home project and meet our needs. Clean up each day was exceptional, which was amazing given how much dust the project generated. From painting to installation, Nick and his team did a wonderful job.

We had hired Nick for our exterior renovation projects and were extremely excited to work with him again for our kitchen remodel. Our very 80's kitchen needed updating and with Nick's help, we were able to redefine the space to a more modern feel. New classic white cabinets with a functional layout, sleek Silestone countertops, and a stainless steel-topped island were all part of the well-planned design. Nick and his crew are always a pleasure to work with and we are happy to recommend N Sabella for any project.

Nick and his team were great to work with, did a very thorough and careful job of repairing an area where there was a lot of rot in the wood and into the frame of sliding glass doors, and then rebuilt our deck beautifully. Highly recommend.

Nick is my go to guy for all my around the house projects. He has done several for me in the last couple of years. The most recent was the half bath. Nick is attentive and responsive. He and his team and subs are first rate.

Nick was great to work with on a custom mudroom rehab. He and his team worked with us to customize the mudroom so we could maximize the space. From the start he was very professional to work with and the result was a wonderful mudroom that matches our family's needs and is also durable to withstand two teenage boys. Nick came up with great ideas that were functional and also aesthetically pleasing, including building custom benches to go over our radiator heaters (with a vent to allow the heat to circulate in the room), creating custom shelves to maximize wasted space, and creating a unique hook feature hung from the top of a wall that was backing our electrical panel (others may have just mounted the hooks on the wall itself potentially causing a costly short circuit in the future). Nick also helped us use the renovation to put in an electric car charger in our garage, which was next to the mudroom, so it was the perfect time to do the wiring as we were redoing the mudroom. Finally, Nick stayed on budget throughout the project. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!

We hired Nick as a contractor for several exterior projects at our home and I can't say enough about the excellent service I received from Nick, his crew and his subcontractors! We had our house resided with vinyl siding, a small deck installed, our front entryway rebuilt, a masonry retaining wall built and new front and back storm doors installed. Even with all of these projects, Nick was able to keep costs reasonable and worked with us every step of the way on material and color choices. He provided us with a timeline (though we did have some delays regarding building materials availability due to COVID) and kept us informed during each phase of the various projects. Nick's subcontractors are professional, friendly and are clearly experts in their field. Throughout a complicated town approval process for our deck build, Nick handled each step professionally, knowledgeably and on time. My husband were extremely pleased with the results of all our projects and would highly recommend Nick to anyone for their home projects!

We really enjoy and trust N Sabella Inc. They are craftsman with attention to detail and quality while still working within budget and on time. They are trustworthy and enjoyable to have at the house. A great experience all around! This was our third project with Nick and team and we’ll come back to this company every time!

Sabella Inc did a great job with an unwieldy project that included a substantial kitchen renovation and a smaller mud room renovation. The foreman, Paul, was superb. Nick and Paul did a great job protecting floors, containing dust, keeping the job site picked up, and accommodating residents, both human and feline. They set our expectations reasonably well, and consistently communicated with us about both expected progress and unexpected surprises. I would place this outfit pretty far out on the good end of the contractor spectrum.
