Old World Custom Homes

While Old World does have some great craftsmanship, we struggled with communication and accuracy during every step of the build. The design process was great, but the execution was painful. Their inability to do basic Project Management and communication was surprising, given the price point and quality of the homes they build. Attention to the details we chose was arguably worse than their project management capabilities. We had to intervene and deal with numerous contractors and supplier partners of theirs (many of which mutually complained about OWC dropping the ball and not communicating). Our home was constantly deprioritized and never once did we actually feel as though Old World was there for us. They did not admit or take responsibility on many issues and errors. Our home completed in October of 2021 and we still (March 2023) have open action items that I have zero confidence that they will resolve.

We met with several custom builders prior to building, but OWC was the builder that was trustworthy enough for us to select since building a custom home is stressful. OWC did a great job of simplifying the process and 'holding our hands' thru the process. OWC's attention to detail and customer service is what separates them from other custom builders. Don't think twice about using OWC, you want be sorry!!!

Top notch builder! We researched several builders before deciding on Old World Classics! Truly custom in every sense of the word! The owners, subs, and general contractor Dave were all honest, friendly, and care passionately about their work. We have lived in our Old World home for nearly 3 years and the craftsmanship is evident every day! My wife and I to this day still tell each other almost weekly "I love this house so much"!

When we decided to build our custom home it was because we couldn’t find anything currently on the market that fit our family. The first time we walked through Old World Classics' model home, we knew that they could and would design anything we came up with. The owner and conceptual designer met with us countless times as they made our design just right for us. They listened to all of our ideas and brought many new ideas to the table that we had not thought of. And it didn’t stop with them. One of the major selling features of Old World Classics for us, aside from their truly custom homes, was that they have a designer that walked us through each step of the selection process. She took the time to get to know our style through pictures and meetings, and was able to achieve the feeling we were looking for in our new home. She does a superb job of connecting with her clients. Building a custom home is a long and daunting process. Our project manager was there every step of the way to answer questions and relieve anxiety. His goal, as was all of the team at OWC, was to make sure we were happy with our home. On many occasions he went above and beyond his duty to make sure that we were satisfied, and that our home was built properly. Every person that enters our home comments on the craftsmanship and character that our home exhibits. No corners were cut in the building process, and each person was always true to their word. When someone at OWC tells you they are going to do something they do it. We would build with them again in a heartbeat, if the house they just built for us wasn’t perfect!

We built our home with Old World Classic in Hinckley, OH, and Andrew and his staff came back to fix any little problems that popped up and we would build with them again in a minute, we love our Dream home.

We built our home with Andrew in 2006. Building a house is extremely stressful and when you are building the house of your dreams you want everything to be perfect. We still love our home and I would do it all over again, not sure Andrew would, lol. These guys build a really solid home and they are beautiful.

I am a sub contractor who has worked for Old World Classics so I get to see first hand the great job they do with their customers. They have a team to help in every aspect from design to install. Their communication has always been great and they put out a beautiful final product.

We have been working with Old World Homes for three year now, and there customer services is beyond excellent. When we ask for something for their insurance they get right back with us. They are very educated in the bonds and you can tell that they have been doing this for awhile. We work with other contractures and have a hard time reaching them, not Old World Homes. Would highly recommend them and they also build great and unique home.
