Leslie is not only a great designer but an all around wonderful person to work with. She is easy going, organized and always professional. Leslie was able to really understand me and my design esthetic and therefore it felt like a collaborative effort during the decorative process. She was able to transform my house into our dream home. It reflections our personality and life style. I would highly recommend Leslie as an interior designer.

Moved into new construction in Wilmington, NC from out of town and needed assistance with details including placing existing artwork and furniture as well as with the purchase of new furniture, accessory pieces and rugs. I was referred to Leslie (Peridot Interiors) by another designer. Working with Leslie has been fantastic. She is a good listener making communication easy. Her demeanor allows her to be open to concerns. She worked in a timely fashion, providing creative input with my budget in mind. She has a terrific feel for color, texture, style and proportion. The end result is a home that has been decorated in a very novel fashion, creating a sense of calm, peace and beauty. I can recommend Leslie for any project big or small. Her talent and conscientious nature will not disappoint.

I have been involved in several photo shoots where Leslie was the lead designer. Her eye for detail and color brings out the best in her clients homes. She is a true professional and fun to work with as well!

I recently built a new home with Plantation Builders in Wilmington,NC and one of the great services Plantation provides is a decorator to assist in all the decisions that go into a new home, as well as coordinate those decisions with Plantation so that nothing gets lost in the process. Leslie brought strength to both arenas. She quickly discerned my decorating sensibilities and was able to offer real insight and helpful suggestions to each decision (from paint colors to plumbing fixtures to lighting). Additionally, she was professional in posting each selection onto the Co-Construct sight where Plantation stores all communication concerning the building process. Leslie has a great working relationship with all the suppliers in the area and did LOTS of troubleshooting for me during the build process. Leslie deserves much of the credit for the beauty of my new home. She is a true decorating professional.

She is a pleasure to work with and a pleasure to see what she creates. Imagine a house is like a person waking up in the morning, getting out of bed all disheveled, not looking so good. Nice clothes, great hair style, and accessories make the person look their best. A skilled decorator accomplishes this for a home, making it really look attractive and warm. This is what Leslie does.

We had the distinct pleasure of working with designer Leslie Stachowicz on our dream home in Brunswick Forest. Leslie has great talent in knowing all the product lines and every detail about them. She has great taste and we quickly learned to put our trust in her. She is very detailed, extremely hard working and genuinely personable. Our finished home would not have turned out as beautiful without her tasteful guidance.

I have had the pleasure of working with Leslie Stachowicz on three occasions over the past 10 years: my office condo in 2005, our lake house in 2007 and most recently, our primary home at Kure Beach in 2013. Each project was custom new construction and each exceeded my expectations. Leslie has a unique gift of listening to her clients and translating their design preferences and lifestyle into a successful design that is a true reflection of the homeowner. Leslie is also a pleasure to work with, is very creative and passionate about her work. She never pushes her own agenda but guides you through the design process skillfully and with great diplomacy. She has ready access to a talented list of vendors, craftspeople and suppliers so your project benefits from their skill and creativity as well. I would highly recommend Leslie for your interior design project, whether you need help selecting furniture or you’re looking for a complete home design.

I had the privilege of working with Leslie on a home I designed. The project was challenging because the clients lived in Europe throughout the entire design and most of the construction process. When the clients were here decisions had to be made efficiently and quickly. Leslie quickly understood the client's aesthetic and coupled with her talent, knowledge of vendors and considerable design skill exceeded our clients expectations. Leslie is hyper organized which impressed our CEO client. She is hard working and is a great designer. Many times the clients commented to me how much they loved Leslie and her work. I look forward to working with Leslie again. Tilghman Herring / Hood Herring Architecture, Wilmington,, NC

Of The Essence Design+Build and Paint

We have a decoratve painting company and have had the opportunity to collaborate with Leslie over the last few years. She is extremely professional and creative. Leslies design concepts are always innovative and intriguing. The ideas she brings to the table have given us the ability to create beautiful faux finishes that have complimented her design schemes. It is always a pleasure to watch her ideas come alive as a project progresses. Leslie is extremely professional, has the ability to meet her projected deadlines, is organized, and is truly a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend Peridot Interiors!
