I cannot recommend Pioneer Craftsmen more highly. I have used them now, for four renovations, over a 25 year period. I have always got competitive quotes but Pioneer not only offers a competitive price, they offer you the knowledge that you are working with a family firm that prides itself on quality and delivering your dreams in a time-efficient manner. I have had an attic refinished, a kitchen rebuilt, a bathroom updated, and a livingroom redesigned. Once the job is finished, Pioneer is always there to provide support and hands-on-help if needed. The last renovation was the living room.

Pioneer Craftsmen did our addition, kitchen, all three bathrooms, and most of our main floor in our renovation this year (2014). They are professional, organized, respectful and sensitive to the homeowner. The architect came up with several different design possibilities for the main floor addition and master bathroom, incorporating my wish list, along with eliminating elements of the house that I did not like. The result is a perfect family home for us. You know you are dealing with professional organization from the very beginning - meetings with design team, meetings with the project manager and lead carpenter, time line schedules, payment schedules, all before anything even starts. This continues with the excellent communication throughout the renovation, attention to detail, and concludes only after every minor deficiency has been corrected. (You know you are dealing with an outstanding company that prides itself on their work when your deficiency list is only 10 items long, and the project manager comes back with 3x's the number of minor things they want to address!) They stand behind their warranty too. What I appreciated most about Pioneer, and why I gave them a five star rating, is how they reacted when there was any type of problem or issue. And let's face it, when renovating, something always comes up! They provided immediate assistance, problem solved, and always corrected any issue with great sensitivity and a true desire to make you perfectly happy with the end result, whether it was my fault or not. (Ok, I changed my mind on the position of the light sconces more then once...:>) This to me is the difference between a good contractor and a great one. My brother used pioneer, and recommended them when we were looking at renovating. That is the type of company Pioneer Craftsmen is: one that you don't hesitate for even a moment to recommend to your family or friends.

My new master bath is even better than I hoped. Jamie, Mike and Mark were excellent to work with. I was amazed at how quickly and smoothly everything went. The room seems so much bigger and is both beautiful and well suited to our needs.

Extremely high quality of work done. They are respectual of your home and cover and protect everything they can. Your get a timeline for your project, and they really stick to it. Even when the project is done, even after the final inspection, if there is something you don't like, they change it. They make it clear that they want you to be happy with the results. You have a "lead carpenter", someone who oversees the whole project and the person you go to if you have a question or need something changed. They are extremely patient. Their work is top rate and I think you get what you pay for..
