Pamela Leone is a magician! She designed a kitchen layout that eliminated two walls, closed a hallway to install an efficient laundry closet and squeezed every inch of usable space out of the common areas of our tiny 1940 ranch house. The result was a gorgeous kitchen of my dreams. My family and I couldn’t be happier with our showcase room: it’s pure eye candy while also being sunny, spacious and super-functional. I’ve never enjoyed so much storage or counter space. Cooking dinner is a delight, with everything at arm’s reach. The best part is seeing our guests’ jaws drop at the dramatic difference. Pamela’s extensive experience, savvy design skills and artistic vision were worth every penny. She reached out to contractors for bids, analyzed comparisons and zeroed in on potential gaps in scope. She remained eternally patient and diplomatic despite my frequent emails and second-guessing of my earlier choices. Suffice to say, she was always right. I can’t imagine tackling such a complex and expensive job without her guidance. My only regret is not hiring her sooner. Pamela is simply the best.

We had a horrific kitchen that Pam turned into something magnificent as well as functional. She was reasonably priced and very easy to work with. My husband and I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.

We absolutely love our kitchen. We live in a 1950s Midcentury modern home, and Pamela's design managed to both honor the Midcentury design and color scheme of the original kitchen while bringing forward it into the 21st Century. Some of the most clever touches are little nods to modernism of the 60s and 70s, which help bridge the time span. But the most surprising improvement was her use of the space -- as a former chef (!) Pamela designed the kitchen to not just look amazing, but to be far more functional and intuitive than the old kitchen. We also found her to be practical-minded -- she put the money where it counted and was economical where it made sense, so we got the best bang for our buck. Even some high-tech touches that I doubted early on -- like the hands-free faucets -- turned out to be INCREDIBLY handy.

This review is long overdue. We worked with Pamela Leone to remodel our mid-century modern kitchen from a cramped and outdated mess to a gorgeous and well-functioning centerpiece of our home. Pamela was prompt and professional in the height of the pandemic. I had ideas of what I wanted, and she had the know how and the connections to turn my dream into reality. I was happy to work with Pamela, and she will be my first contact for any further renovation projects.

We are thrilled that we chose Pam to design our complete kitchen remodel. She struck exactly the right balance of guiding us and listening, being highly attuned to our own sense of aesthetics while coming up with creative and wonderful ideas, and pushing us to think of things we wouldn’t have. The design result reflected the look we wanted but executed as only Pam might have. She had a clear commitment to getting everything right and following through on every detail. It’s hard to say which of the above qualities we most appreciated. She understood that every inch really counted, and thought carefully about how to maximize utility. If we needed time to decide on which of two or three concepts to choose, she would step back but would check in to try to help us move to the next step. And when we came up with an idea she herself hadn’t thought of (a good one; we came up with many patently bad ones too), she would embrace it enthusiastically. One thing that surprised us was how actively involved she remained after the design was completed. Once the contractor started work, she always managed to be on site at the right time when she instinctively knew that he should have additional input to be certain he understood the design. I should add that we were probably much more involved in the nitty-gritty of each space and aesthetic choice than many, and that we often took plans she’d come up with and worked them over ourselves. I can imagine that some designers may not have enjoyed our involvement, but if she didn’t, she never let on. And she always and without fail made herself quickly available to us by phone or in person to help resolve one of the many problems that inevitably arise during construction. It’s hard to conceive of how a designer or a design process could have been better.

Pamela has been an absolute delight to work with during our numerous projects. She is very knowledgeable in terms of products to use and the figuring out creative and beautiful ways to create amazing bathrooms and kitchens for our clients. We are always excited to work with Pamela to see what kind of stunning creations we come up with next!

Pamela Leone is a FANTASTIC designer, and was a perfect fit for our project. We spoke to 3 different contractors before meeting Pamela. Our 3rd contractor recommended Pamela. The first 2 contractors were suggesting all sorts of expensive changes to our kitchen that were unnecessary and didn't fit with our vision. Pamela totally understood what we were looking for - to update the kitchen in a way that would make the kitchen look like it could be the original 1936 kitchen kept in amazing condition. We kept the cute little oven nook that other contractors wanted to demolish, we kept our original ceiling and installed period-appropriate lights instead of now-fashionable recessed lighting, etc. One of my favorite items is not 1936-appropriate but so much fun - a Kohler Stages sink. So much fun! Watch the video. Our kitchen fits the period of the house but is more beautiful than ever and incredibly functional - I think we doubled our counter space without reducing our usable storage space and the whole thing feels better lit and more spacious. Through it all Pamela was a delight to work with. Kitchen remodels can be stressful but not so much when Pamela is on it.

I am so glad we took our contractor's advice to hire Pamela to do our kitchen design. She understood our vision, embraced the vintage look we wanted to maintain, yet guided us to practical solutions. She helped keep us in our budget and narrowed down options of appliances so that it wasn't overwhelming. She tempered some of my wild ideas about color and showed us where we could have just the right amount of color impact. She became our advocate when it seemed subcontractors might go astray and we felt she was as excited about our protect as we were. Remodeling your kitchen can be an emotionally charged time with possible unexpected setbacks, but Pamela's professional and optimistic approach kept us always on track towards creating our dream kitchen. I highly recommend Pamela for kitchen design.

Pam was hired to design a great room and kitchen for our home addition. She was amazing to work with and did an incredible job. She designed it from the ground up and we could never have done it without her. She was very conscientious of every detail and did a wonderful job understanding our style, needs and wants. From the design to the furnishings, she nailed it. She over saw ever inch of the construction and made sure ever inch was done as planned. She was good about communication with our contractor and cabinet maker. Pam became more than just a designer to us, she became a friend. The addition was a very stressful event in our lives that consisted of many many decisions. We couldn't have survived it without Pam. Additionally, everyone who walks into our house loves it!

Pamela designed a major kitchen and bath remodel in my home. Undertaking a project like that is a significant challenge, with so many options available such as layout, flooring, tile, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, etc. It can get so confusing! But Pamela provided extensive experience and exceptional attention to detail and to design new spaces that have transformed my home. My project entailed completely gutting the kitchen and bath. The kitchen was opened up with the removal of the wall to the dining room. I am so pleased with the open design, and combined with a new skylight and wonderful lighting this space is now the focal point of the house. Pamela is extremely professional, and very easy to work with. With her ideas and guidance, she helped to significantly reduce the stress of such a major project. I highly recommend her, and feel so fortunate to have found her for my project.
