Plush Designs Kitchen & Bath

Mike Peterson of Plush Designs was extremely professional in guiding us through the myriad of choices available in our new home construction project. We could not be more pleased with the result and Mike's suggestions and advice were a big reason for our satisfaction.

Mark Plush did a fantastic job with helping us design our new kitchen in our "old house". We purchased a very neglected 1910 Bungalow and did a complete renovation to the entire house. We moved the kitchen location from the North side of the house, which was dark and had small windows that looked directly at the fence between our next door neighbors house, into the rear section of the house that was previously two old enclosed porches and an eat in breakfast room. The new kitchen now faces East and overlooks the back yard. The house had 3 doors to the back yard and we were trying to decide where to place just one door to the yard. Mark had a great idea to place the door in the center of the house and to open up the wall between the enclosed porches and the breakfast room to create a walk in Butlers Pantry that looked period appropriate to the house. We then created a wall of windows over the kitchen sink and have beautiful views into the back yard. Mark helped us incorporate old fashioned inset cabinetry with glass doors and latches in the Butlers Pantry and mixed in a different line of cabinets in the main kitchen to help us stay within our budget. We did this massive project during the 2021 COVID shut downs with major delays in getting materials and appliances. After waiting 14 months for a dishwasher that was never going to arrive; Mark & Vern saved the day and let us purchase an extra dishwasher that they had in storage. Plush Designs recently installed the cabinetry for our retirement home in Wetmore, CO, did the cabinetry for a home will built in Peyton, CO in 1996, as well as cabinetry for a rental property in Colorado Springs. Mark Plush did a wonderful job of designing our cabinetry, the installers were very professional, and the quality of the cabinetry is excellent. Plush designs delivered us a custom kitchen that makes our house a home. Mark worked with us and helped guide us along to create a space that flowed and makes cooking a dream. He had great ideas to make the space work, like having our microwave in the pantry, a very outside the box solution that we love and has been super functional! He even introduced us to induction cooktops which I rave about and mention to all my friends...way better than gas! The project was not without small hiccups, but Mark Plush was always willing to meet with us and fix things the right way which we really appreciated. His trim carpenter was also top notch! He was super professional and one of the best craftsmen I have ever met. Mark and his team spent time on our project and made sure it was something that we would be proud of for years to come. I honestly tell my wife once a week how much I love our kitchen...it works so flawlessly and fits the needs of our family perfectly! Additionally, Mark provided all the cabinetry for the house. He even created a custom wet bar for us that we use every single day. It is a focal point for our downstairs and we love it almost as much as our kitchen. Mark and the entire Plus Designs team does a great job, start to finish. They listened and took our ideas from design to reality. Our new kitchen turned out to be perfect for our family. Josh with Plush Designs in Colorado Springs designed and supervised our new kitchen remodel. His creativity, knowledge of detail and contractors was invaluable. It has been almost 2 years since Plush Designs helped me my outfit my new kitchen (post-wildfire, rebuilding) so the details have faded, but the positive feeling has not. My builder (Palace Homes) sent me to them. Everything about them was excellent. Knowledgeable helpful friendly cheerful people, lots of choices, and no one tried to sell me something beyond my budget. They also helped my builder with the insurance loss estimates.

I used Plush Designs for my kitchen design and they were simply fabulous. They are very professional and courteous, and provided me with a gorgeous kitchen. Their staff is extremely knowledgable and their installers are true craftsmen. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

We worked with Mark Plush of Plush Designs. We are delighted with our new Kitchen. The result is literally like gaining an additional room to the house. We expressed how we wanted the kitchen to feel, the seating area needed, the possiblity of a buffet/bar area with sink and general layout ideas. We suggested that half of the ceiling be raised to match the former eating area. Mark listened to our requests and created a design that surpassed our dreams. By eliminating one window out of three, we were able to add cabinets on another wall that resulted in a hutch, double wall ovens and a pantry. As we discussed the plans and mentioned that we would like storage for this or that, Mark responded with ideas that made the design even more suitable for our life style. Plush Designs extensive showroom made selecting cabinet colors and styles a pleasure. We did work with a separate contractor for demolition, raising the ceiling and removing the window. Jim was our cabinet installer from Plush Designs. What a professional! We were pleased with his skills, his attitude in working with us, neatness and the completed job. Thanks to all!

Plush Designs has done two kitchens for me, a remodel and a new construction. They did design, installation. They are beyond professional, very helpful with ideas and have a great showroom for decision making.
