Prospect 30 Eight Construction Inc.

Our addition came out great. It took a little longer than expected, but that was due to supply chain issues and not with Prospect 38.

I'm writing this review as Chris Moore/Prospect 30 Eight is completing the last few details of a 930 sq.ft. addition to our daughter's house where my wife and I will live full time. The project is a soup-to-nuts ADU including a bedroom, full bathroom, living/dining area, full kitchen, laundry room, foyer, attic storage plus a large covered deck. We are now fully moved in and are extremely pleased with every aspect of our new home. The quality of material and workmanship is excellent and Chris has made every effort to ensure our complete satisfaction. It's been a pleasure working with him and I would strongly recommend him to anyone contemplating a similar project.

Excellent overall product/quality of work. Chris has a great demeanor and is responsive to concerns/issues. Our project had several areas where we expected to make decisions "on the fly" and they all worked out very well. I appreciated Chris' flexibility in this area.

Chris was excellent and honest (sometimes hard to come by these days)! He made some strong recommendations that ultimately changed the flow of our basement. We could not be more pleased with the results! Absolutely worth the investment!

I engaged Chris for a construction project. He was extremely responsive and professional throughout the process. He provided a competitive bid and talked me through the project ahead of time. I would highly recommend Prospect 30 Eight for anyone considering a home addition construction project!

Our family hired Chris back summer 2019, he didn't even break ground til February of 2020 despite finances being ready Dec 2019. Within a few months we learned that he does not have sub contractors with history working on his projects, he goes for the lowest bidder. Note: if you hire him, #1 don't give him money up front. #2 ask for invoices. #3 ask for lean releases from each sub contractor. Also, you may want to see the bids before moving forward. Do not expect that he will be around during construction or check the work. Nor expect that the work site will be clean....ever. I would also suggest checking if he has the permits in place before giving any go ahead and that you actually passed each inspection as you go, he will not do this on his own. He started the framing without a permit. Check the weather and be prepared to cover any holes where water might get in and you don't want it to. So prepare to buy a few very large tarps. We were blessed with flooding to our home we live in and including the build. Also, if this happens to your build get some equipment to kill the mold yourself because Chris will not do this, nor will he go looking for mold (per Chris, he's never seen mold on the wood of a crawl space he built). We ended up firing him and spending 10's of thousands of dollars more just to bring his work up to code. Also, when things go wrong, don't expect an apology or for him to take responsibility. **some pics of flooding included and his end point with our build. Thank God we fired him before our new build was rejected by the city and structural engineers and torn down

Prospect 30 Eight accomplished this small Replacement/Addition project on time and for a reasonable price. Chris Moore work tirelessly with me (Owner), the occupants of the house and his subcontractors to seamlessly tie in the new work with the existing house. He was responsive, honest, and brought solutions to issues as they arose. He has solid hands-on abilities which shows in a complete, neatly done project.

Chris provided a remodel of our office space and was the only contractor willing and able to work with our scheduling. He provided excellent communication and updating while standing behind all work of the subcontractors.

Great work never had any problems he was always involved on every step and made sure it was done right no matter what we liked that about Chris always passed inspection we will definitely use him on next addition to house the final outcome is we now have a beautiful addition to existing room plus an awesome patio out back now very nice

Chris has displayed the required knowledge to handle both small and large projects. I have used him on multiple occasions now, with satisfactory results each time. He catered to my schedule and returns communication both on the phone and on emails. He is open and honest and is easy to approach regardless of the circumstance. I would definitely recommend using Chris on all home renovation projects.

We called Sopris Mountain to pick up a bathroom in our 1909 Arts and Crafts that another contractor walked away due to personal issues. Although we had an idea on what we wanted in our small bath Chris came in and made some excellent suggestions and completed the bath within budget and on schedule. Chris and his crew were professional, attentive and very communicative. Being an older home there were many challenges involved, small space, uneven walls and floor were just a few. Chris was knowledgeable about older home/bath renovations and recommended quality fixes that would hold up long term to help our bath come out better than expected. Honestly we were lucky to have someone like Sopris execute and complete our bathroom, in hind sight the original contractor would have never exceeded our expectations like Chris has.

Chris helped with many facets of a recent project that we completed. He was easy to work with and his knowledge helped us through a few tough situations during the project and he was there until the end making sure that everything was completed.
