We had our house renovation recently completed by QualCraft and are so happy with all of it. Right from the beginning, we met with 5 contractors and hands down we were most impressed and comfortable with owner Mike and his company. The bid cost was fair and through it all, the QC team were top notch. A very nice additional service provided was on staff interior design employees. Dominique was assigned to us and was so easy to work and excellent to help us narrow down designs and colors throughout the house. What a terrific additional benefit to any home owner. Our lead on site project manager, Steve was extremely attentive to our needs with excellent communication between us and the many workers and the job at hand. We love our newly renovated home and the quality of the workmanship. We wish to say Thank You to the QualCraft team.

Qualcraft made our construction project easy and efficient. Living in Nebraska we needed a trustworthy contractor that did what they said they would do and followed through to make sure we were satisfied. Even though we were long distance, Qualcraft communicated with us on specific aspects of the project to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. We just recently completed an extensive remodel project at Coronado Shores using Qualcraft from start to finish. We interviewed many builders and decided that Qualcraft was the best fit for us as we were going to be out of state during the construction. Qualcraft seemed very organized and had great communication tools in place to make us feel comfortable. We hired Qualcraft to do everything including the services of Dominque Tharp who is on staff with Qualcraft to help us with the design, selections and furnishings. We are thrilled with the job Dominque did along with the Qualcraft team, the end project has exceeded our expectations. Dominque made many sight visits and work hand and hand with the Qualcraft team, she seemed to keep things on track. We hired Qualcraft to construct a significant remodelling of an old house that we were interested in attaining qualification as a historic residence. Mike, Sean and their team were great to work with. They explained things well in lay-person’s language. The quality of the work they did was outstanding and as importantly, we had NO SURPRISES! When we made choices on the project or changes, Mike simply plugged in the choice and we could see the new cost projections. We live primarily out-of-state and are busy and frankly were not in a position of visiting the project very often. It didn’t matter. Mike (and Dominique Tharp, our interior designer who is fabulous in her own right) kept us in the loop regularly with conference calls and emails. Dominique has a rare ability to interpret a client’s aesthetic tastes and project ideas to the client that are usually spot-on. Unrelated to Qualcraft and Dominique’s business (Elegant Appointments), is a mega-talented architect named Kevin Rugee who conceived of the whole project and deftly navigated through the approval process. QualCraft Construction (Mike Jacobs-Bonnett) was not only the Prime Contractor for our renovation, but really was an integral owner of the end product! He prompted value-added discussions and decisions when needed. Mike personalized critical decisions, recommending we do what HE would do if it were his own decision and money, often times to a lower cost alternative.. We were "absentee" owners, so relied heavily on the deep trust and credibility that Mike and his team earned. Mike and his team did a fantastic job especially as we were doing this from afar. Everything was done so well and the few items that needed attending to at the end were handled swiftly and completely. Having built and remodeled 7 homes, they are among the best!

My wife and I have built or renovated 8 homes and I can recommend highly QualCraft. This project was done while we not present locally which required superior project management and communication and QualCraft delivered. The quality of the construction was outstanding and the punch list was the shortest we have ever had. In addition, most of the punch list items were completed within days of them being communicated. Their knowledge of the HOA rules was an added bonus. They used a great system to coordinate contractors and materials to efficiently execute on our project and they have an in-house interior designer on staff who assisted us with color, furniture and material selections. I highly recommend them!

We engaged QualCraft to remodel our 1949 Coronado beach house and they exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Mike runs a very professional operation and he is 100% on top of things all the time. Sean was our project manager (on site) and he managed the project with a personal touch and hit our price and delivery targets. Dominique is an extremely gifted interior designer and she put her fingerprints all over our project.. they helped out in picking all of our items including the furniture... in the end a beautiful vacation home that ended up on the front of a magazine.. doesn't get any better than that!! . With us being out of state during the whole process QualCraft looked out for our interest entirely and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking for honest dealings,, quality construction and personalized service.......
