(Our condo did not have a stove vent to the exterior) Throughout the renovation, Philip demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. He approached each phase of the project with care and expertise. The trades Philip brought to our condo were exceptional. They were especially helpful in their suggestions as the work progressed. Philip was consistent in his coordination with on-site building management and sequencing of the work. Our renovation of our 35-year-old condo had some challenges and Philip engaged engineering consultation to meet the stringent requirements of our strata board solving our stove venting issue. The quality of the finished work speaks for itself. The millwork is precise and beautifully executed, the paintwork is clean and consistent, and the kitchen layout is both functional and visually impressive. All work complied with building codes and strata requirements, especially regarding stove venting and mechanical concerns. Beyond his technical skill, we appreciated Philips reliability, transparency, and respect for our home. Throughout the trades maintained a tidy work environment, provided regular updates, and were always responsive to questions or adjustments along the way. We used RSH for many projects when we moved in to our new home. The biggest one was converting one large bedroom into two smaller bedrooms for our children. My wife and I hired Rechsteiner Construction to do a full interior renovation of a 30 year old house we recently purchased. Philip worked with us through the entire renovation process from the consultation and budget phase, design and permit phase, and construction phase. We are so fortunate to have selected Philip Rechsteiner Construction Ltd., from several companies asked to provide estimates for replacing our 2 level deck around a hot tub. From our first meeting, to final reveal we were confident in our choice. When other estimators took up to a week, his detailed and comprehensive quote was returned in one day. He and his team were reliable, personable and approachable and communication was always clear with no surprises. All workers were respectful, considerate, COVID conscious, with attention to detail second to none. We were consulted along the way, with any needed decisions, and Philip was open to our suggestions and changes requested. No money was required in advance, with our first instalment requested after a week of construction. All invoices were detailed, accurate and clear. Philip has a successful business future, and we highly recommend his company as a general contractor. Our outdoor oasis is beautiful.

We had an enclosed deck which has needed repairing several times over the years due to water damage. This time, however we hired Rechsteiner Const. and Philip, who guided us through a different design that would allow proper drainage to prevent rotting and black mold seeping into the garage below. The team of workers were very hard working, extremely competent, very accommodating and so friendly. They are such professionals that several neighbours commented on their work ethic. With our invoice Philip included a copy of his expenses, all employee labour hours and any other expenses he incurred. The final cost was fair and better than I was expecting after the additions we made. Philip was readily available if we had any questions or concerns. We are very happy with the end result which blends in nicely with the existing structure and we would highly recommend Rechsteiner Construction for any job you need done. As an interior designer, working with Philip is a wonderful experience. He is professional, positive and has a great work ethic. Philip completed a whole home renovation for us and coordinated all aspects of the job. He is professional and will guide you through the process. We really appreciated his expertise in construction. Our job was wide in scope and demanded creative solutions. We built a second interior staircase, added a roof to enclose an upper deck, and poured a new concrete pad for the sinking garage. We also changed all the floors, windows and updated the kitchen and bathrooms. Our job also included the exterior work – hardscaping, landscaping, grading and lowering the pitch of our driveway. Philip meticulously planned every aspect of the renovation, careful to ensure the new blended with the existing structure. He is honest and will provide good insight. Phil and his crew of talented craftsmen did an amazing job on my place. They created a funky, loft-style basement suite that I love. Phil Rechsteiner came highly recommended and I concur. They met the time line and the budget. We hired Philip and his team to help with our home renovation. We renovated our kitchen, dining room, living room and foyer. Philip is very detailed, responsive and easy to work with. My Dream Master Bathroom Renovation Rechsteiner Construction Ltd is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy. We had our master bathroom completely renovated. Phil (the owner of the company) has an amazing attention to detail and was incredibly responsive. The first thing Phil would do when he would start in the morning was ask me if I had any concerns or questions for him. He would then make sure any of my concerns we fully taken care of and all my questions answered. Phil has trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of craftsman that work for him. Phil made sure the project stay on schedule. Phil far exceeded all of our expectations and we would immediately turn to him if we were to have any additional renovation needs and would recommend him and his company without reservation.

Philip was recommended to us by a relative in the business, and we were more than impressed by his work. We had a basement reno that involved a new bathroom, a laundry room and an open storage/extra space room that required finishing. As well, our upper floor had a very old and original bathroom that was in sore need of a redo. The plumbing in the basement required digging up the floor and cement to have it levelled and for refinishing properly,The door from outside had ro be moved to accomodate a much larger bathroom. The outside wall was stucco, so that had to be finished in keeping with the look of the exterior. Both bathrooms were gutted and required new fixtures; toilets, glass shower surround,sink and cabinet down and soaker tub , toilet and cabinet sink up, Both had new tile floors, and finely tiled shower/tub surrounds. Windows were removed and redone. All painting, electrical, plumbing, doors, fixtures and all refinishing was accomplished by Philip and his crew. The laundry had to be moved to accomodate the new washer and dryer. Needless to say, the job was complicated. The end result is a basement reno that is, in my mind, perfect! The bathrooms are beautiful. I am very happy to have full bragging rights, and I love taking friends and relatives on the tour. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Reichteiner Construction to all!

I have no hesitation to recommend Philip for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. He demonstrated an in depth and professional knowledge of the proper materials to use for preparing the sub floors and wall surfaces. He hired excellent subtrades for the plumbing, installation of the shower enclosure, flooring, tiling and countertops. Philip took care to protect the floors and walls that weren't being remodelled. He kept the work site as clean as possible. The project came in on budget and on time.
