René was absolutely a life saver in selecting design and finishing products for our new home. We enjoyed working with Rene on our home so much that a few months after we finished that project, I asked her to help decorate my office. Rene listened carefully to our ideas and implemented them beautifully and within budget. Rene has excellent people skills, and she taught us how to work with an interior designer during the course of our projects. She was a great advocate for us with our general contractor and subcontractors. I particularly liked Rene's willingness to provide us with a limited universe of good options every time we needed to make a design choice. That approach made both projects fun and not overwhelming. I had never worked with an interior designer but felt like I needed one for my remodel. Rene was invaluable with selecting all the needed components while staying within in my modest budget. She and I started out with an interview that helped define my style, colors, and finishes. We worked well together and she presented selections that appealed to the look I wanted. Rene was the interior designer for my big home remodel. I was very nervous about making such big changes in the house and making the right design decisions. It could not have been a better experience. Rene listened to all my ideas and concerns and gave me the most wonderful plan for the house. She took the stress out of the remodel and made it fun. She was so creative and kind. Rene gave options every step of the way and made sure I was happy with the final product. My wife and I have moved to Portland to be closer to our daughter and her two children, our grandchildren. We bought a house built in 1961, that needed lots of repairs and updating. Rene was a blessing, she had many of the contacts, knew where to go, had a very critical and artistic eye that helped us a bunch. Above all of that, what an upbeat a pleasant person, and a joy to work with. We did not agree with her on every one of her suggestions, but we would guess we agreed and executed on 90% of her recommendations and we are very pleased with how our remodel has all turned out. Ms. Chambers provided excellent recommendations for lighting solutions through our home, selection and precise layout design for bathroom tile and finishes, kitchen materials and storage solutions. She gave estimations for her time that were fair and accurate. We definitely recommend her.

Rene executed the design for our 1923 Bungalow kitchen remodel. She was the best thing about going through the remodel because of her design visions, patience, professionalism, fantastic contacts with companies supplying products, and the follow-up she provided through the entire process. Rene worked on a full house remodel for us. She did everything from paint/stain colors, designing cabinets from scratch, picking out flooring and lighting, furniture placement, room decor...
