Extremely bad company and ethics. Be warned. They installed the job completely wrong and against the approved drawing and layout. They will do your job completely wrong and still expect payment. Literally the worst company I’ve ever worked with

We ordered our soapstone countertops from Diana at M. Teixeira and they were delivered perfectly! Everything about the whole process was wonderful! The packaging around the stone was incredible. Every piece of stone, ( I think 17 pieces) was fit into the custom built crate like a jig saw puzzle. Not one crack or chip in any countertop. So we ended up with the exact soapstone countertops we wanted, cut to the exact size we wanted, and shipped over 1100 miles to our driveway for 1/3 of the price we were quoted locally. Plus, the turnaround time was months shorter than anyone locally could fit it in.

It's been four weeks now since our soapstone counter top was installed and we're happy with how it has turned out. I have oiled it two times and it looks very beautiful. We had a good experience working with Mr. Francesco at the San Francisco location. I have two important suggestions for this company and I think it would be important to attend to these concerns if they care about receiving consistent 5 star reviews - 1. Please have a payment gateway set up on your website for online payments. In this day and age of online shopping - especially since Corona - it is ludicrous that I had to share my credit card information information over the phone! And it was most disturbing that the lady on the other end repeated aloud the numbers I was sharing, despite pointing out that it is neither safe nor fits the etiquette. She insisted that she was the only person around!! 2. Please include a section in your contract printout what supplies we need to keep on hand for the day of installation, in case the crew comes unprepared. For instance, in our case the installation crew arrived without adequate material for installing the farmhouse style sink. We had specifically called on the phone to ask how they were going to support the given style of our sink and they said it would be supported by a pair of 2x4 wood pieces. And I kid you not, the crew had come with 1/4" wood strips that they were planning to stick together and use! My husband had to excuse himself from a meeting to make a quick run to Home Depot to buy the required 2x4 as I would not allow them to proceed with what they had on hand. It was most inconvenient to say the least. You have gone to great trouble to have several pages of legalese and penalties that we would incur in all possible situations, to protect your interests. I'd like to point out how we went to great lengths to cheerfully accommodate your team member when they showed up a day ahead of the appointed date for templating, due to some scheduling errors. And as a matter of fact, we were both in the middle of meetings that morning. I'm sure you'd agree that it is only reasonable and good business practice is when there is some thought given to cover the customer interests as well.

I would seek other sources for your soapstone needs. They do not work with integrity or honesty. It is a shame because the product is good.

I had soapstone countertops installed in my kitchen by M. Teixeira. They could not have been easier to work with, particularly Camila. Even when an issue arose, she made sure it was resolved to my satisfaction. The countertops themselves look spectacular, are remarkably durable and are very easy to maintain. I am so glad I chose them over my initial preference of granite. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Entire team at Teixeira Soapstone was pleasure to work with as we completed a full kitchen renovation without hiring a design team. Teixeira team was patient and helped us select the perfect soapstone slabs (even allowing us to swap out slabs for a later shipment). Installation was perfect, quick and painless. Highly recommend to anyone looking for experts in soapstone. Maria is fantastic and we even met with the owner twice to leverage his expertise.

We knew we wanted soapstone countertops for our kitchen island, pantry and bathroom vanities, but when we shopped around at the local stone yards we quickly realized there was no comparison to the selection and expertise at M.Teixeira. We worked closely with Dana on our project who was amazing...she is very knowledgeable about soapstone and it's very obvious that she cares about her work. Dana was friendly and patient and she really took the time to understand our project and make recommendations on slabs that would work best for us. She even called us when a stone came in that she thought we would like for our kitchen island and held it for us until we could take a look at it…she was right and it was absolutely perfect. Dana worked easily with us and with our contractor and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. M. Teixeira's installation crew expertly worked with our soapstone for a perfect fit and they were extremely professional. Our project could not have gone any better and I am in love with my soapstone. I very highly recommend Dana and the crew at M. Teixeira for your soapstone project.

We had the pleasure of working with this company for a Michelin Rated Restaurant Project. We were very happy with the quality of their product and most importantly, their quality of install and professionalism. From their installers to the Owner Roger, they were delightful to work with. I have already recommended them to many design professionals here in the city.

In November,Teixeira (Glen Rock, NJ) installed counter tops in my kitchen. I could not be happier. Israel who worked with me could not have been more helpful. The emails were flying back and forth. Both he and Maria answered each and every concern with professionalism. The installers were marvelous. Small issues were handled quickly and the install went smoothly. I LOVE my counter tops. I would without any hesitation, recommend M Teixeira.

We had a great experience with the Denver office. I was able to pick out the slab I wanted. The measurement/template was done a couple weeks later, and the guys came out and installed everything two weeks after that. They worked with our sink and drilled the holes we needed. I felt like everything went smoothly and we had great communication. We love the product. It gets a lot of compliments. We were looking for stone but not busy or particularly shiny; we got exactly what we wanted. Thank you.

Teixeira Soapstone excelled in every stage of this project. They were helpful and informative when we were picking our slab, patient when it took several months to get to the point where they could cut the stone, prompt to measure and install, and accommodating when we requested that they add a feature to one counter. The installers and office staff are all courteous and efficient. And the counters are beautiful.
