Ron Pillar Construction is the GOLD STANDARD of what everyone wants in a contractor. Ron is friendly, professional, trustworthy and TALENTED!! I call him the Michelangelo of sheetrock! After moving into our home, we needed many smaller jobs done asap, including the installation of a bathroom fan, repair of a chimney, installation of two bedroom ceiling fans, replacement of and vented a microwave oven, replaced a kitchen sink/faucets, replaced a rotted out sliding patio door and doorframe, removed a "doggie door," removed three wall-sized bathroom mirrors/repaired the walls underneath, installed new mirrors, replaced light fixtures, etc. Ron did all of these jobs with great finesse. We look forward to other home projects with Ron now that we are settled into our home. Ron listens to ideas, creatively makes visions a reality, and shows up on time, every time. Ron is in high demand, but is very much worth the wait, no matter how long!

Ron has done work for us and members of our extended family over the years. We can't say enough about the quality of his work and what a pleasure it is to work with him. Some years ago he remodeled our kitchen and converted a very small room into a much needed 2nd bathroom. His work is meticulous and he is a complete pleasure to work with. Rons most recent project for us was a great success, as were all previous jobs. He removed and installed a shower unit, salvaged and repaired tile, replaced a celing light and fan fixture, added an electrical outlet, updated switches and towel bars, added grab bars, sealed 2 tub floors, repaired dry wall cracks and water damage, replaced closet shelves, and even moved heavy furniture. He is multi talented, extremely efficient and professional, and a total pleasure to work with. We keep an ongoing "Rons List" for his future tasks and are always pleased to welcome him to our home.

The latest project Ron did for me was to extend an existing room by removing a wall and pushing it back. Framing and sheet rock soup to nuts. His carpentry skills were beyond my highest expectation and his expertise in solving some very complicated issues blew me away. To top it off he kept the area very clean and when he was done, you never knew he was there. Very nice person and easy to get along with. We hired Pillar for what started as a handful of structural renovations to an existing house before we moved in. The project ended up going into 6+ months, and the whole time we knew what to expect and understood where we were in the process. (That makes all the difference when you're dealing with the unknown.) - Friends have come into our home and remarked on how perfect the right angles are on our window trim. (Who does that?) Every detail on our renovation was considered and perfected, to the extent that the structure of our house allowed. The flooring was solidly laid so that nothing squeaks. You can feel the sturdiness of their work under your feet. Everything was swept up, tightened, and precise. - Ron had his team handle small thoughtful details like scrubbing out the sticky mess previous owners left in kitchen cabinets, simply because "he wouldn't want to move his own family in with it that way." - He took ownership of our home and the project in such a way that we felt safe in knowing our future home was in the best possible hands. - Ron's communication is top notch; he proactively and on our behalf handled the details of plumbing, AC, electric, permits, flooring, gutters, painting, exteriors, cabinetry and more. When we needed to make a decision, he had done all the research and has the experience to be able to guide us toward wise choices for our property, our lifestyle and our budget. Honestly, I can't think of a professional we've worked closely with in ANY industry who surpasses the integrity, professionalism and dedication that Ron and his excellent team bring to their work. From quote to completion Pillar Construction provided the best experience. My husband and I had contacted Mr. Bevacqua about repairing our deck and creating a classroom space and small full bathroom in the unfinished portion of our basement. He was not only a pleasure to have around but he was incredibly professional and punctual. He explained all the steps along the way and was more than patient with all our questions. Ron and his crew did an amazing job on our home renovation, we could not have asked for a better contractor. We had never used them before but after reading other reviews we took a shot and couldn’t be more satisfied. Pillar Construction remodeled my kitchen and den on time and within budget. They did this while we were home and he and his team were here every day on time and ready to go. Ron also made numerous suggestions related to the design and layout of both rooms. He has a good eye for paint selection and overall interior decoration. Ron Bevaqua and his team do an amazing job. They are professional courtesy and skilled in areas most people would fall short. They have done numerous projects on my property. Most recently they changed my front door which is most likely an original door from the mid 1700's. They were able to use the original door and altered it to swing out instead of in. In the process they cleaned up the hinges so they would fit and discovered an embossed signature on the hinge. in researching the hinge it was identified as being from the 1820's. Incredible detail and care goes into everything they do. Last spring they altered and overhang on a patio area that is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Ron and his team for any construction needs you have. Honest reliable and friendly.

Ron and his crew were great to work with. I hired Pillar Construction to comeplete all the drywall in my 1800 sqft 30x40 garage with living quarters. Ron gave a very reasonable estimate all while holding true to the completed cost. The final job was some of the best I have seen. Ron renovated our bathroom which turned out beautifully! Our house, built in 1949, has plaster walls and few updates. Ron understood our concerns about renovating and provided reassurance as often as we needed. He listens to your needs and ideas and guides you toward the best options leading to results you will love. Ron replaced entry doors, installed closet doors, attic stairs, and replaced a roof for us. Ron and his team are fantastic to deal with. Their work is superior to anyone else we have hired. Not only is their work flawless, they are extremely neat and vacuum up after every work day. My wife and I hired Pillar Construction to do a complete remodel and redesign of the kitchen/dining room in our newly purchased home. Ron and his team did a truly spectacular job. Their attention to detail was exactly what we were hoping for. We had many questions along the way and Ron was very courteous, attentive, and patient throughout the whole project. He helped us to redesign our space and make it as efficient as possible. The project included: removal of walls for open concept layout, installing new appliances, replacing floors, countertops, cabinets, lighting, and backsplash tile, rewiring the entire room, installing two new exterior doors and one interior door, and custom pantry shelving. Ron is a total professional. He began the project on the day promised, came every day as expected, and cleaned up every day.
