Rachael is amazing! Never in a million years would I think I would ever use a designer, but she made my move from a house to a condo so seamless and easy that I would never do a move without her again. I still use her expertise today, as I just changed my whole condo layout using all my existing furniture by looking at one of the floor plan designs she gave me 6 years ago!. It’s like I have a whole new place! I started working with Rachael in 2013/2014 with just a “floor plan” of my new condo. We both never laid eyes on the actual condo beforehand. She envisioned exactly what I was looking for before I did. At any given time, she only gave me 2-3 choices to choose from so I never felt overwhelmed. We used some of my existing pieces that I wanted to bring with me and we bought new pieces. On moving day, she organized it all to arrive, be unpacked, assembled and all the packing taken away - within hours, my entire condo was stunning! We first met Rachael when we were looking to do some renovations but had no idea where to start. She ultimately helped us revamp our family room and powder room. When we decided to redo our hallway bathroom 3 years later, we looked no further than Rachael. She took our ugly 80s bathroom and transformed it to a spa-like retreat for our family. Rachael Smith, who was the Lead Interior Designer for Spotted Frog , was the decorator we chose to provide interior decorating and design services. She started by getting to know us and listening to our needs for our new living space.Moving from a large family home to a condo always has challenges but Rachael was so excited about our new space that she made it seem effortless and exciting. Rachael helped us choose high quality Canadian made furniture, art work and decor. All of the tradesmen that she dealt with were also very skilled and professional. Her professional training in architecture was very evident in the very functional, classy home office she created with high quality built-ins. We were so thankful that we chose Rachael Smith as our decorator! She created a classy, coordinated beautiful look for our new condo!

When we decided to do renovations we weren’t initially sure if we want to use a designer. We thought it was something that we could handle ourselves. Having been through a renovation of our entire home, if you are even considering renovations, don’t do it without a designer. While renovations are very expensive, the cost of hiring a designer was minimal but the value was truly priceless. Our decision to use a designer, specifically Rachel who was working at the Spotted Frog at the time, was the best decision we made throughout this entire process. Right from the very beginning Rachel was listening to everything my husband and I were saying with regards to what we wanted our home to look like. She took the time to get to know us, our likes and dislikes and somehow managed to come up with a design that blended both mine and my husband's styles together. In the beginning, it was hard for us to visualize the final product beyond some samples and swatches and there were times we thought we had some better ideas, but as our project started to unfold and we could see Rachael‘s plan come to life, we were so happy that we trusted her and the process. She is truly gifted when it comes to design and knowing her clients. Our home is beautiful and beyond what we ever could have imagined. It is cohesively designed with every element thoughtfully planned out by Rachael. She was so helpful, supportive, and enthusiastic throughout the renovation process. We could have never done it without her. We wholeheartedly recommend Rachael and we feel so lucky that we were her clients.

We knew Rachael before she asked for her help to renovate our three bathrooms. She had helped us furnish our new home, so she already had an idea of our style. Rachael did all the heavy lifting, choosing a vast array of materials, paints and fixtures for us to choose from. But because she already knew our style, it was easy to choose what we liked best from what she presented us. Her enthusiastic approach and demeanour are infectious and she inspired us to be excited about our project again. Rachael helped guide us through the renovation process, liaising with the contractor and jumping in when last minute decisions and changes were needed.
