Jason was our favorite part of the down-to-the-studs kitchen and basement remodel on our original 1938 home in Denver. Our home had substantial design limitations that required precise measurements to make sure the new design would meet current code requirements. On top of which, we had an ambitious wish list. Jason really took the time to listen to our wants; he understood how to keep the vibe of our home/neighborhood and translate that into a modern more functional update; and made sure he understood what we were going for. Nothing we asked for was beyond his creative limits. His attention to detail and clear communication made him an absolute joy to work with. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Jason. We greatly look forward to working with Jason on our next project!

I was connected with Jason through our contractor. We were interested in changing a 1980 floor plan including removing walls, and changing the location and orientation of all first floor spaces including the kitchen and bathroom. This was a tough footprint to work with and Jason was everything we hoped for and more in such a critical element of our house remodel. His ideas were fantastic and he was willing to listen to all of our ideas as we worked through the final plan. Jason revised the plans multiple times to accommodate changes and always did so quickly and we felt like we had a vested partner in our goals. Price was right and I would recommend Jason to anyone looking to make thoughtful and innovative changes to their property!

Jason designed our new lakehouse on a private water ski lake north of Denver. He was able to translate our vision into reality. He worked well with the limitations of the lot and our square footage desires and created a stunning home that is very liveable. We were able to work with him remotely as Jason was located in the area of the lakehome while we were living in the mountains. He was also available for consultations during the building process as issues were encountered, as they inevitably are.

I recommended Jason to some clients of mine who purchased a condominium in an old historic church building. They wanted a remodel to upgrade the space, add privacy on the second floor and enlarge the space by opening up the bell tower. Jason's design and choice of materials created a living space which was breathtaking! My clients really enjoyed working with him and he collaborated with them at every step. We thought we had a clear idea of what we wanted when we contacted Jason. We had been playing with all kinds of ideas and plans and concocted what we thought was a great design. At every step along the way Jason built on the ideas we had and made them better, more practical and more interesting. Working with Jason was an outstanding and affordable experience. He remained open to new ideas throughout, and presented numerous ideas of his own. ( He built a little model with three alternate roof designs.) Unlike some architects who think of it as "their" house, Jason always thought of it as our house and remained flexible to changes we wanted or needed to make. I never felt overcharged for Jason's services. It is an amazing home. We continue to marvel at what a great job we (architect and owner) did. The design works so very well for our lifestyle, and the design elements continue to thrill us again and again. Jason Ruby gets our highest recommendation. He is terrific.
