Ric and his team build high quality homes. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail is evident from corner to corner and from floor to ceiling. The outdoor spaces are also carefully considered and beautifully functional. We collaborated recently on a large custom home in Albuquerque's north valley. Ric commissioned my company to build all his cabinetry and bespoke woodwork. The design/build process was very enjoyable, Ric had a strong vision but was open to ideas. Ric Rutherford is the general contractor on our 3000 sq ft home addition and renovation. My husband and I have renovated 4 homes and build one from the ground up prior to this project but have never had anyone as exceptional as Ric. He is not just professional; he is an expert at conceptual design, drawing, and managing all the many jobs required with the sub contractors. Our project involves adding onto a 23 year old adobe home which has been a massive undertaking. The new structures, including an indoor pool with retractable walls, has been very complicated. Ric has worked with us to create the most effective, efficient and beautiful hacienda imaginable. His knowledge and expertise is unparalleled. I would recommend his company to anyone in the Albuquerque area considering new construction, a renovation or remodel.

Ric Rutherford is the owner of his company. We hired him, along with two other firms, to give us an estimate for a kitchen and master bath remodel. Ric was professional, friendly and easy to work with.We had a great idea about what we wanted to do, but Ric had some more ideas and really helped us to realize our vision for the space. We decided to table the complete work until next year, and hired his firm to do a couple of small jobs on the bathrooms, really to see his work ethic. The jobs were done to a high standard with respect for the space. There was a small accident in which a nightstand was damaged by a falling piece of lumber, and Ric took the nightstand and had it completely repaired in a timely manner. We plan to hire Ric and his company next spring to do the kitchen and master bath, and will enthusiastically recommend his company to anyone needing a remodel.
