LOVE LOVE LOVE my new tiny guest house lovingly built by all the Timberland "family"! From the great design service to the meticulous craftsmanship and prompt service after the fact....the entire company takes such pride in their work. I loved the fact that the final price included EVERYTHING except the site work and the blinds! I had a couple of meltdowns (about the site work) and Julie was so awesome in providing solutions. Timberland had my back! I simply cannot sat enough about how great my experience with Timberland has been. I wish I had another 1 -20 projects that I could do with them! :-)

My wife and I had designed some plans for a new home but could not find a builder that would work with us. We discovered Timberland Homes at a Seattle home show and immediately set up an appointment. They were able to use our plans with some slight modifications and built the two story home we wanted. During the construction stage, my wife and I soon recognized the quality and professional workmanship that went into our home. It soon became evident the house was not your typical stick built home, but rather one that seemed to be over constructed, not that I complained. Extra fasteners and material were used on walls to withstand the shear loads caused by being transported to the job site. The sub floors were applied with both adhesive and fasteners, resulting in no floor squeaks. The floor and ceiling structure, when joined, created a tremendous dead space between floors. We constantly receive compliments on how well insulated the home is, both from outside noise and from outside temperature. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Timberland Homes to anyone who is seeking value and quality in a new home.

Our Timberland Home is fabulous! The design and build team took all the stress out of building a new home. Decisions about every detail were made with the designer up front, including all surfaces, finishes, cabinets, lighting, plumbing, appliances, roof, widows, doors, paint and more. Their craftsmanship was high quality, and their build time fast. If there were questions along the way, they had the answers. Everyone we met at the company was professional, kind and respectful. We were so happy with our in-city house, that we had them build our countryside vacation cabin in the woods.

In 2004 we began an adventure with Timberland Homes in Auburn. Our salesperson was Don Shelton. We wanted to replace a 65 year old family cabin on Whidbey Island. Don and the design team help us decide on features and kept reminding us that the plans we had chosen were changeable and flexible. They welcomed us whenever we showed up to check out the progress on our home, answered our questions and held our hands when needed. We were so happy with the home, we retired 5 years earlier than planned to live in it full time! We also contacted Timberland again in 2011 to have a second, smaller home built for my husband's 98 year old mother, on property adjacent to ours. Another great experience from beginning to setting the house on the foundation! We would recommend them highly without reservation to anyone.

The design of the Vashon model is terrific. The doors, windows and casings, molding and trim, very good. Cabinets for kitchen and bathrooms are good. Carpet and vinyl installations are good. I should have paid more attention to detail as to quality of dishwasher and comodes installed. I had the opportunity to chose which brands to use. Don and Mike are professionals. They were helpful and very good communicators. We hired an outside general contractor and we are very glad that we did. He brought in teams of excellent concrete, electrical and plumbing sub-contractors, and he also saved us buckets of money in problems that we didn't forsee.
