SC Design, a full service residential and commercial interior design firm in Chicago, is ran by two highly experienced interior designers, Jodi Hinzmann and Caitlin Crocket. Jodi received her Interior Design degree from the University of Minnesota. She began her 20+ year career in commercial and hospitality design, moving to the lighting industry to represent Lutron Electronics. Lutron brought her to the UK where she worked at the London HQ on high-end residential projects across Europe. Caitlin grew up in a little town called Roodhouse, Il. She always dreamed of living in a big city. At the young age of 8, she began designing her dream home. As her interest in design continued to evolve, Caitlin knew she was meant to be a designer. Caitlin began her studies at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, then moved to Chicago where she finished her degree at Harrington College of Design and received her B.F.A. in Interior Design. After graduating she gained experience in the retail and construction sectors of the design industry, then moved on to specialize in high-end residential design. Their mission is to understand clients’ individual needs, image and requirements. They start by assessing your goals, budget, organizational structure and operational requirements. Details such as space planning, conceptual design, finishes and furnishing selections, budgeting and building code compliance are carefully planned. Once they have crafted a concept that is right for you, they implement and manage all phases through completion.
