We have purchased many kitchen appliances from CDB over the last 25 yrs. Recently we completed a full kitchen remodel which included all new stainless appliances. We worked with the owner (Sharon), who was a pleasure to deal with. She never attempted to pressure us into buying a certain brand that we were not interested in. She did bring up an alternative to our microwave request that we had not known about. Although it was more expensive it has turned out to be an appliance that we use every single day. CDB has been great with any issues we had with our appliances before, during, and after installation. We did search out multiple quotes when pricing out our kitchen appliances and CDB was able to offer us the best price total. Given that and the great customer service we received, we are very happy with our decision to do our business with CDB.

We had our kitchen remodeled and our contractor, Amarant Design & Build, recommended California Builder Distributors, Inc. to purchase our Sharp drawer microwave (Model #SMD2489ES). Sharon handled our order and recommended the correct timing to have the microwave arrive in time for the contractor to install it, but not too early. She also provided us with documentation so that the warranty would not begin until the contractor had installed the microwave oven. CBD staff provided outstanding communication and service. We highly recommend this company and will purchase more appliances from them in the future.

Last October CBD Appliance worked very hard and effectively to help us buy a dishwasher to replace ours, which had failed. This was at a time when home appliance retailers were finding it very difficult to obtain dishwashers from their suppliers. CBD worked hard and fast to locate and obtain the dishwasher we wanted and to arrange for its installation. We talked mainly to Michael, who had a extensive knowledge about the supply chain or dishwashers, about dishwashers in general and specifically about the dishwashers we wanted to buy. I went to the CBD store on the recommendation of my appliance repair person, Nick, because we were looking for a new dishwasher. Julia was great and took her time describing the different features of the Bosch. We decided on the particular model we wanted, ordered it to be delivered in a timely manner with Nick picking up appliance and installing it. That night I realized I had ordered it in stainless steel which were the ones we looked at and I needed it in white. I called Julia the next morning & she was able to make the change. That probably would not have happened at a big box store. Definitely will shop CBD for the next appliance I need.

I was looking around for a new quiet Dishwasher, preferably from Bosch. I had looked around some of the key business for a low price. BOSH Oven Model #HDIP054U/07 Was extremely disappointed in the design of the oven door as did not notice how sharp the outter corners of the oven door were until my leg was cut on the edge. Was taking a hot dish out of the oven and moving it to the oppose counter. My lower left leg bumped into the corner of oven door and cut by the very sharp edges. Could not fathom why the edges were not smoothed down. Called Bosh and they sent someone out to look at it but, of course, they couldn’t find anything wrong with their product. I had to call my contractor to come and file the edges down, something that should have been done at the factory. As well, the stainless steel scratches very easily when trying to clean around the top burners. As expensive as this stove was, would expect higher quality.

Finally, the kitchen remodel is done. What a journey! We both learn so much during the process. We bought all our appliances (stove, dish washer, hood & refrigerator) from CBD. Why ? Because of Sharon. Her customer service and knowledge is superb. Not only is she awesome, her staff also. My husband is very detail oriented and Sharon patiently explained to him how things work. We were there for over 2 hours. Now, you won’t get this kind of service from the Big Box stores. As for pricing, CBD is very competitive. With good service and good price; CBD got our business.

Sharon came to the rescue when I was in a time crunch and frustrated from my search for appliances. I had been looking at big box stores - Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, Airport Appliances, and just had no idea where to begin and what products out there were truly reliable. Both of them were super impressed by CBD's service and mentioned that no other appliance store had offered this type of service. A hiccup happened with my stove and the manufacturer ran out of stock. Sharon and team worked quickly to find me a replacement, an upgrade to be exact, and got it here as soon as they could. I've had the appliances for over 4 months and I've had no issues so far. Overall, I'm very happy and impressed by the quality of service I received from CBD and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

We needed to replace our GE microwave/oven and went back to CBD to purchase a new one. We had, after some research, picked out an oven and went to CBD to make the purchase. When we got there, the salesman looked up our records from the original purchase and told us that there was an updated model of the same GE microwave. We ended up purchasing that. Saved us money and the installation was simply and take old one out, put new one in. It was much easier than we expected.

I am writing a review of CBD now instead of when I should have in late 2015 when I didn't get around to it, because I recently contacted Sharon Dixon of CBD for guidance on how to handle a manufacturer warranty and found her customer service now to be just as exceptional as when we initially purchased that appliance from her. Although we purchased from her over two years ago, Sharon was as responsive now as when we were a potential customer, and even went well "above and beyond" to resolve my recent issue when she had no obligation to do so. When we purchased from CBD, we were doing a complete kitchen remodel and, after visiting numerous distributors, purchased almost all our appliances, sinks and faucets from Sharon. Sharon carries a great range of quality brands at different price levels, has very fair prices, is professional and honest, was very patient with our slow selection process, and thoroughly knows appliances. She guided us to ones that would best meet our cooking style, would blend well in appearance, and met our goals for our kitchen. She and the other CBD personnel are A+.

I was so pleased to find a local showroom to pick my commercial-style range from. CBD Appliance in Rocklin, CA was very courteous and helpful in informing me on my purchase. They even called the manufacturer (Blue Star) when I had questions they weren't 100% sure about. So much better than a salesman with off the cuff answers that I would have come to regret later. Additionally, my gliding oven rack was not included with the original shipment and all it took was 1 call!!! The refrigerator arrived with a small dent that had been hidden under the wrappings so was invisible when inspected at the warehouse. Sharon had warned us in advance of our purchase that the customer service for the manufacturer was not helpful, but it was exactly the refrigerator we wanted so we ordered it anyway. Her warning was correct, but Sharon took it upon herself to spend hours with the manufacturer to ensure that the problem would be corrected. We've been in our kitchen for a year now, and we love it. The appliances all look beautiful and function exactly as we had hoped.

We just recently completed a very extensive remodel. When it came time to select kitchen appliances we were directed by our contractor to a reputable appliance distributor in the area. Written quoted prices were honored when the price of the appliances were raised. This decision was based on Sharon's recommendations ( as I had an over-the-range Dacor microwave) and knowledge of the product's ease of use and history of being an excellent and trouble-free product. In addition, Sharon provided me with a list of competent and affordable contractors to deliver and install the unit. The contractor that installed the unit was great. I am extremely satisfied with my beautiful Dacor gas range as Sharon said that I would be. My experience with CBD was a great one. I wished that I would have had known of CBD ten years ago when I did my initial kitchen renovation. I will definitely use California Builders Distributors again and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for great service, product knowledge-ability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction- then CBD is for you!

I purchased a Thermadore Freedom Series Freezer and Refrigerator, a wolf Microwave and a miele convection oven from CBD a little over two years ago. The owner of CBD, Sharon Dixon was in touch with me throughout the entire process and updating us of delivery dates and answering my questions. I would get a call from her on weekends and after work hours responding to questions I had. I was very impressed with the superior service I received from CBD and am so inspired by the genuine care and concern I received from them, especially after dealing with many other appliance stores who appeared indifferent and at times almost hostile during our remodel process.
