Working with Sendero was an excellent experience! As both the homeowner and interior designer behind Cameron Getter Design, I truly valued their organization, communication, and high-quality craftsmanship. Sendero came highly recommended when we were in the design phase with our architect. The build was executed exactly to plan with no major delays, and every member on sendero’s team was great to work with. From the arched bar, to the white oak slatted feature at the island- everything was executed to perfection. We are incredibly pleased with the final result and would confidently recommend Sendero Homes to anyone looking for a custom home builder. We hired Sendero Homes to build our house in Austin from 2014-2016! They were very professional and helpful in the process, since we had never built a home from scratch. They helped us pick a lot, plan with the architect, and closely monitored every detail of the project thru completion. Their entire office were extremely friendly, and easy to work with, which is important with the countless questions that come up. What I most love about them is their creative edge they shared with us thru the entire process, giving us innovative ideas that we would not have thought of that make our home custom and relevant for the times!!

We used Sendero for our home remodel. They added bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms,redid floors, finished our basement and so much more. It was great working with Scott and his team. We love our home!

We toured a bunch of homes and interviewed a lot of builders before landing with Sendero to build our home on Lake Austin. Each builder we interviewed had its own set of pros and cons (price, quality, project personnel, available bandwidth, project management software, overall experience/reputation in the industry, etc) and our choice to use Sendero was based on getting the greatest overall value. We really thought it was important to have a builder that had both a longstanding history in the custom homebuilding space (Sendero had several decades in and around austin), and an active portfolio of homes under construction that were comparable to what we envisioned for our project (Sendero generally has around 5-10 active projects at various stages). We ended up spending over a year on architectural plans for our house, and Sendero was present at each meeting with our architect (Vanguard Studio) and definitely created value in the meetings with their knowledge of what would add/reduce time and expense to our project once under construction. After we began the build, we had a target of 9-11 months to complete our home, and ended up finishing within that range and within 1% of budget (and the slight overage was because we changed our minds on a few things). We were very pleased with the interaction with the principals at Sendero as well as the project manager that oversaw the construction of our house on a day to day basis. Lastly, if you're looking to build a new home, whether it's with Sendero or somebody else, I would encourage you to push the builders to give you a list of references that you could reach out to in order to get some direct owner side feedback. We were pleased that Sendero gave us a list of a couple dozen recent finishes of theirs and that they didn't hold back and only let us talk to one or two of them. The feedback we got from the handful that we reached out to from their list was consistently positive, and whether it's through this Houzz review or in direct conversation with someone about our experience, we are also happy to share about our experience working with them.

I'm an architect that designs custom home, my company is Vanguard Studio, Inc. We have been designing homes for and with Sendero for nearly 20 years. We have worked on probably 100 projects or more over that time period, and have several we are actively involved with. Sendero builds a great home, and have a fantastic team to bring it to life. They also have wonderful project/process tools to assist clients while their home is under construction. I trusted them to build my personal home 3 years ago, which my wife and I are thoroughly enjoying! I highly recommend them as a builder!
