Signature Floors did a beautiful job for my wife and me at our home in Salt Lake City's Federal Heights. We moved this summer from the Bay Area and wanted to replace some nice carpeting with elegant wood floors. It was a big job -- about 2500 square feet of wood. We considered several vendors and selected Signature; we are delighted with their work. James, their production manager, worked patiently with my wife to help her select the right wood for our home. That included looking at samples from their showroom as well as those from other local suppliers, and a few visits to our home. We decided on a pre-finished wood from Canada. James ordered the wood and arranged delivery, and scheduled three full weeks of acclimatization in our home before installation. Once the work started, we were extremely pleased with Dave and Austin, the two Signature Floors craftsmen who were in our home six days per week for four weeks. They really were craftsmen, clearly eager to do a beautiful job that they'd be proud of and my wife and I would be very happy with. They succeeded. I was quite impressed with their care and creativity in solving problems such as how to safely accommodate wires that had been under the carpets and which now had to fit under the flooring (Dave carefully carved grooves into the floorboards as needed). We recommend Signature Floors wholeheartedly!

Signature floors did a fantastic job on the oak hardwood floors in our recent home remodel. The floors are solid, quiet and beautiful. They make me happy every time I look at them. Signature did a great job matching the color and finish of the original and new floors; and a great job creating a nice transition from original to new flooring. The first flooring that was delivered to our house was the wrong size. This was not Signature's fault but the result of a miscommunication between us and our contractor. Despite that, Signature hauled away the incorrect flooring and brought back the correct size at no charge. (This was a lot of work for them.) Signature communicated well with us so we were able to plan around times when we needed to be out of the house. They worked smoothly with our contractor and other subcontractors. They were professional and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Signature Floors to friends and family.

Need true craftsmen who bring decades of wood flooring knowledge, obsessive attention to detail, and professionalism at national standards? Signature Floors are your answer. At my job they found matching material (heart of pine), found a sub to mill the unusual joints, and spliced it into the existing to create an awesome, completely new feel and look to the space. The inlaid vent covers are the perfect finishing touch. Only downside? They are busy because they are good so you likely will have to wait for their schedule, but Signature Floors are worth it.

Being in the construction industry for over 40 years we have had the opportunity to work with many flooring companies. When it came time to have the wood floors in our home refinished we chose Signature Floors over all the others. Gary is terrific and so is the finish on our floors. There scheduling, pricing and quality is second to none!

We've used Signature Floors for many years, on many projects. This project was for the refinish of the floors (installed 10 years ago by Signature) in our personal home. These guys have always delivered as promised. And it's always a pleasure to work with them!

Signature Floors is easily the best choice in Salt Lake for hardwood floors. Our 25 year old oak floor, initially laid by a DIYer, was damaged in a freak pipe freezing incident. James came over almost immediately to take a look to give us an estimate for repair. It was a bit of a mystery because the damage occurred while were on vacation, so any pernicious water was already dry. That didn’t stop him from going down into the scary basement with his flashlight and iPhone to investigate and get pictures. Once we scheduled refinishing, we got recommendations on the products to be used (oil based due to the water damage was suggested) and then provided a list of instructions to keep us and our dog safe during the project. The actual work was done so quickly, and we were back in the house less than 24 hours after we left. WOW – the floor looked better than it did when it was brand new! James @ Signature suggested a matte finish, and it blends in perfectly with our 104 year old house. They took a really awful mess of 25 year old damaged oak flooring and turned it into the most beautiful floor in our home. All for a price that was extremely reasonable. I was surprised at how many random people suggested Signature Floors when I was discussing the problem with friends and colleagues. It seems anyone who has done home improvement or had issues with hard wood knows and recommends Signature Floors. There really is no better choice in Salt Lake City, and I will use and highly recommend them again.

No issues ever and they do excellent work! I'd recommend them to any of our customers looking for a very nice flooring job. They are great to work with and they know what they are doing, unlike a lot of other wood flooring companies out there. They can create floors that are truly a showpiece and can show off your project!

Patched and repaired walnut floors damaged during construction. Sanded refinished 1500 square feet of floor. They were responsible, friendly, detail oriented and committed to providing an excellent result.

Signature Floors refinished our quarter sawn oak floor while we were out of town this month. Our living room and dining room floors were still in good shape, but our kitchen, hallway and family room were another story. The professionals at Signature Floors were able to blend the the newly finished area with the existing hardwood flooring seamlessly. Our dogs had really scratched up our floors and we were amazed when we came home to see the beautiful transformation that had taken place. We are very pleased with the job that Signature Floors did.

The company replaced a section of wood flooring that had been damaged by water and repaired two other sections of flooring that had minor water damage which included staining and stabilizing loose boards. Before proceeding the company sent two representatives to assess the project and determine the proper course of action. The repair/installers were very experienced, had a plan in hand when they arrived, proceeded in a timely and professional manner and did an excellent job of cleanup. These people were recommended by my contractor who uses them. I have had other floor work done in the past and none have been better.

I was recommended this company by my sister who has used them in the past. They were referred by her husbands sister so hence a long line of valued opinions. We truly enjoyed working with Leigh and the installers. The gentleman who refinished our floors were very friendly and professional. They pointed out to us our options and allowed us several choices with demonstrations on what the final outcome would be. They also corrected problems that were there from the initial installation including the reducing of the transition from the laundry room tile onto the hardwood. The installer referred to it as a potential toe stubber and felt it would be best removed. The dedication to their craft was evident throughout the process. Having used other flooring companies in the past it will be easy for me to recommend Signature Floors to anyone. They truly care about their business
