Excellent experience working with SilverSun on a full plan for landscape design/architecture and pool area. I needed someone that could take a broad view but get deep into every detail too. Was so glad a friend mentioned their good experience with Silver Sun. I highly recommend for any landscape design (plantings, hardscape, integration with home architecture), outdoor living spaces, pool renovation, etc. Broad and deep experience with Florida friendly landscapes, listened to my needs and wishes, and very easy to communicate with. Pricing was very reasonable and follow up support has been excellent as we begin the implementation of the design.

We are so very pleased with the front & back yard landscape design Tim created for us. He listened to our wish list, made it lower maintenance, and something we could accomplish in a couple phases. The design encompasses the formality of the front of the home & takes into consideration the more relaxed backyard that backs up to the wetlands. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! I wanted a landscape design that is suited to Tampa's unique climate and only included native Florida plants. Tim Reed is exceptionally knowledgeable about both and created a beautiful design for me that is low maintenance and exactly what I wanted. He is friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with.

We are just in the design phase, but Tim has come up with several options for us that uniquely solve how to transition from house to yard and how to create privacy without consuming excessive space or breaking the budget buying large, mature trees.

Tim listened carefully to what was important to us and what we wished to achieve. We now have a lovely oasis, mostly bug free, and can look out on plants that are sure to attract birds and butterflies. His suggestion of a living wall affords us much loved privacy. Tim helped take my front and back yards from being disaster zones to my own personal oasis. He was so easy to work with, and very knowledgeable about what grows best in Florida. Our builder Alvarez Homes, Tampa introduced us to Tim Reed from Silversun Landscape designers, Tampa. Tim designed both hardscape and landscape for our property in Indian Shores, FL. From the initial conception to execution of the approved drawings and plans from us and the Town of Indian Shores it was an absolute pleasure. Tim met with us a few times at the site and listened to our vision of both hardscape and landscape. From day one he took our idea, location of our property, and the town codes into consideration. He worked very closely with us, our builder, and the town officials to get necessary approvals in a timely fashion. He successfully transformed our idea and vision into reality, and we are extremely happy with the result. Plant selection: Tim has an extensive knowledge of the Florida native plants and he very carefully picked a colorful mix of salt tolerant plants from the area which were suitable for sandy soil and will thrive in the coastal environment (our house is located on the beach). He also made sure that the design satisfied the town requirement that 25% of the plants must be native species. Working with everyone: Tim very patiently made several revisions to accommodate our requests, the builder’s timeline, town codes and stipulations, while still pleasing everyone. He also incorporated the drainage plan from another designer into the hardscape which was approved by the town. He was always available to listen, discuss, educate us and made us aware of the limitations for our property due to the town codes. Something we admired about Tim was that he didn’t hesitate to disagree with us. We trusted him completely with our project and we highly recommend SilverSun Landscape designers for your hardscape and landscape projects. He is 100% the best in the business, and you cannot go wrong by working with them!

We worked with Tim Reed to transform our backyard into a beautiful area where we enjoy spending time and are now proud to entertain in. We had an old oak tree in our backyard which unfortunately had to be removed. This left us with a big unsightly empty space which we could not decide what to do with. We consulted a few other companies but none were able to meet our needs and give us the look we wanted. We met with Tim and he immediately had a vision and some great suggestions. He assured us we could redo our entire pool deck, back porch and extend the deck and landscape while staying within our budget. He worked with us to make modifications to the plan to enable us to get immediate results with suggestions for reserving a few things for a second phase. He also made sure we had the best for paving and landscaping. Tim was aware of our tight time frame for completion of this project and was able to accommodate our timeline. I have included some before and after pictures. As I said we still have a few things left to complete but the transformation is remarkable!
