Fabulous Finishes by Michelle

Michelle is a wonderful artist and we are thrilled with the work she did. She painted an amazing mermaid tail on my daughter’s bedroom wall and also painted ombré on addition as part of a sea theme. Additionally she coordinated her schedule so the work could be done on my daughter’s birthday. She is creative and professional and came up with and amazing result from our general ideas. I would highly recommend her.

Michelle is so talented and has amazing ideas! She recently did some work for us in our new house and really gave it the extra “pop” we were looking for. We get compliments on her work every time we give a tour of our home and we would highly recommend her! She is super easy to work with, reliable, and trustworthy. Look no further for your faux finish needs!

You never know what kind of experience you’re going to have when you hire a new contractor, but I did some research and felt best about the responsiveness and professional communication by Michelle, so I gave her a try. Well, she’s finished my project, now, and I could not be more pleased. She completed the job very quickly when we found a date for her to come in, although the execution of these faux tiles is a lot more complicated than it first appears. It’s not a job for amateurs. She knows what she’s doing. Michelle was super conscientious about minimizing disruptions that the project entailed with this kitchen remodel. She is a delightful person to know and work with. I’m looking for other things she could do in this older home I’m rehabbing. Michelle is just a terrific resource. So gratifying to find someone this wonderful. I recommend her highly.

Michelle is a wonderful artist and did beautiful stencil work at our home. I highly recommend her. She is very accomodating and helpful with suggestions. She worked long hours during the week to get our job done by Christmas and we love it.

I don't have enough good things to say about Fabulous Finishes by Michelle. Not only is Michelle wonderful and easy to work with, but her work is stellar. I have had Michelle redo several pieces of furniture, and those pieces are literally our favorite pieces in our house. I will definitely be using her services again (and again and again) in the future.

I had an intricate stencil design that I wanted done in our dining room. It was difficult to find someone in the Raleigh area but was given Michelle's name. She did not disappoint. Michelle was prompt, courteous & left the job neat & clean every day. I plan to use her again for another project & would not hesitate to recommend her.

Michelle works very hard to listen and understand exactly what I want to accomplish, which is vastly different from project to project. Her level of skill in working with many varied styles of finishes and techniques is impressive. She can be counted on to complete her work as promised, and within the agreed upon budget. My clients are always thoroughly pleased and impressed with her work. The transformations are spectacular!

I loved working with Michelle. She was so kind and patient with me and assisted me in choosing appropriate colors for my kitchen cabinets and stairway bannister. She worked diligently every day while on the project and left my home neat and orderly each evening. She was very competitively priced and I have been very pleased with the quality of the job. Michelle is a phenomenon! She transformed several pieces of furniture by painting and glazing them, and they look fabulous. She also updated several picture frames, lamps, and other accessories by applying a gorgeous champagne finish, which works with both gold and silver. In addition, she applied a beautiful finish to the walls in my powder room, which everyone loves, and applied a gorgeous stencil to a wall in my mediation room. Michelle has an expert eye, is an accomplished professional, and is a pleasure to work with. She always delivers on time and her work is always exceptional. She is a very hard worker, and even touched up some of the pieces she had worked on after I moved to a new house. If you are looking for someone who does any number of fabulous finishes, you won't do any better than Michelle. I recommend her most highly!

We stumbled upon Michelle on Houzz, and couldn't be happier. She transformed our 22 year old kitchen beautifully! We hired her to repaint our solid wood (white gloss painted) cabinets. Working with Michelle was so easy, she came to us with samples of her work and the price was fair. She removed the doors and put them in our garage on her scaffolding to work on them out there. She cleaned them well, before painting. She painted them a brown color and put a gorgeous black glaze over it. (We did the rest; new appliances, countertop and backsplash.) She is professional and friendly, we can't say enough about her and her work, we are so happy with the results. I'll attach pictures if I can.
