Last year when I asked Stephanie of Stephanie Sullivan Interior Designs what was the best way to update my 9 year old home without breaking the bank, she said "with paint, of course." In our previous home, Stephanie had made us feel like royalty when she designed custom window drapes for our 22 ft high ceilings, created an office space that blew my mind each time I looked over at the satin covered platform with tassels that showcased my wedding dress and at the custom covered chaise lounge where I could take a break from the grind. The best thing is when we downsized, we took our window treatments with us and Stephanie refashioned the long window coverings to fit 6 smaller windows in our new home. She reintroduced us to wallpaper that turned our new dining room into a conversation piece and my new study into my place of zen. Always professionally challenging me to allow my spaces to convey my truth, this most recent project made me fall in love with a house I was only tolerating. Stephanie's spot on recommendations in her moment of creative mojo led me to this happy place. You see, when we talked about the gap between how I felt about the home environment and how I wanted to feel about it, Stephanie challenged me to update and evolve my spaces in the same way I had done personally and professionally. She introduced the idea of accenting the ceiling instead of just a wall. She showed me bold colors like Domino and suggested adding colors like Hale Navy and rethinking my neutrals by using revere pewter. It was a great consultstion and I became excited about the possibilities for my space to be a more honest reflection of me. Then COVID hit and all my plans were put on hold. But, I held onto those paint samples and looked at them often over the next 12 months. It was meant to be, because after a year of patience and the paint crew's being delayed by what we call Snowvid (the winter weather disaster that hit in February), the project is complete. I sent pictures to Stephanie and thanked her for her expert advice and recommendations. She loved the colors, but had forgotten about that consultation over a year ago. She's exercised her creative mojo with many clients since that consultation over a year ago. Stephanie's gift of understanding not just a client's wants, but also their needs, makes her an exceptional interior designer. Her holistic approach led me to fall in love with the space I call home.

Stephanie Sullivan Interior Designs helped us with a face lift for our Living/Dining/Kitchen area. What I loved most was that she was able to suggest cost effective ways to make a BIG impact and prioritize. She really listened to understand our "style" and then designed the perfect collection of layout, colors, paint, trim, accessories/decor and furniture to put it all together, within our budget. I would give Stephanie Sullivan Interior Designs 100 stars if it were an option. After witnessing several of her major projects I was sold. I shared my personal vision for my formal living and dining rooms and SSIDs far exceeded my expectations. I instantly fell in love with the 1st design mock-up. I approved EVERYTHING suggested from floor coverings to light fixtures. Everything is not only quality but it matched my budget, and was delivered and installed when promised. We engaged SSID to help us redesign an upstairs living area and to renovate our entire downstairs including the kitchen, two dining areas, two living areas, a bedroom, a bathroom, the laundry room and butler's pantry. Stephanie managed the entire project including selection of the construction firm, paint, furniture, appliances, cabinetry, doors, window treatments, light fixtures, art, and other details. She was especially patient in guiding us through the myriad of choices and particularly skillful at creating an elegant, functional re-design within our budget. Moreover, she leveraged her industry contacts to our benefit. I highly recommend SSID and would not hesitate to use her again. Stephanie is a joy to work with.

I must say that I did not know what to expect when I hired Stephanie to help me pull my ideas together. What I got was a consummate professional with patience of a saint! She was able to decipher the ideas that i had in my head and turn my living, dining, and foyer entry into a works of art with a level of casual comfort and decorator detail that I see on tv. And I must say all within budget! She was very willing and able to offer me options that allowed me to maximize my budget. What a nice lady! She is truly interested in making sure that your vision and dreams are realized.

We love our beautiful master bedroom that Stephanie designed and installed. She used our art as inspiration to create a unique and restful sanctuary. Stephanie is a perfectionist. Everything was done in a timely manner. I enjoy using the office area. She also hung all our pictures & rearranged furniture and accessories in the rest of our house so we feel even more at home.
