We worked with Steve on an architectural plan for a new house. There were many things we loved about our lot, but circumstances dictated that we remain in the existing footprint. Steve did a great job working within this constraint. He was able to give us our "must haves" as well as bring new ideas and suggestions to the table. In addition, he kept our overall construction budget in mind and knew where to make simple changes that would save on cost but not sacrifice our needs and wants. We are so very happy with the final product and absolutely love our new home!

We hired Steve Kemp to design a custom home for us to be built from the ground up. We had never built a home before, and were nervous about managing a project this big when we were not familiar with the process. Steve and his team not only designed a beautiful home for us, but they also stayed involved throughout the entire project, leading us through each stage of the build and working along side the builder to assist with any questions/issues. The home Steve designed is a piece of art. He took our requests and ideas and expanded on them to design a home that is better than anything we could have imagined. We love the amount of thought that was put into even the smallest details of our home. Steve and his team are talented, detail-oriented and responsive. I highly recommend using them for any build/renovation project.

Steve Kemp and his talented colleagues beautifully walked us through the process of design, execution and completion of our family home. Taking a simple, older ranch style house and transforming it into a significantly larger and inspired custom home that captures our family's lifestyle, needs and identity is a refined skill and art in which Steve and his team excel. From our first meetings, we were always put at ease with Steve's ability to interpret our thoughts and ideas. In our particular project, creating a beautiful space that also was physically accessible for a child with special needs was navigated with care while still presented with excellence in design and quality. We also value that Steve was mindful of our budget and made every effort to meet deadlines and expectations. Another helpful aspect of Steve's process was in helping with the selection of a builder. Having considered the specifics of our project, Steve personally arranged for interviews with several builders and walked us through the selection for the right fit. Having his investment in that decision is evidence of his high expectation of those with whom he works and gave us confidence that we were supported beyond the design phase. Building a home is a significant investment of time and resources. There are always elements of the unexpected that will arise, but it is possible to emerge on the other side with a positive experience as we have. We are very thankful that we had the pleasure of using Kemp Hall Studio and are living in every space of our lovely home just as we had hoped.

My experience with Kemp Hall Studio has been fantastic. Steve is a true artist and a true professional. During our interactions Steve was methodical, clear, was willing to spend as much time with us as we needed, and (most of all) drew up an astounding design for our home. If we could do it over again, we would go to Kemp Hall again.

My husband and I engaged Kemp Hall Studio to design our rebuild after a fire gutted our home. It was the smartest decision we could've made, and we are now enjoying the benefits of Steve Kemp's smart work. Steve and his team spent time listening to us, getting to know how we lived and used our home, along with what our ideal space would entail. He pushed us to think outside some conventions but ensured the space he designed for us was as functional as it is beautiful.

We selected Kemp Hall Studio for our custom, new construction house design because of their past experience designing forward thinking plans and elevations, including their expertise in designing well proportioned spaces that flow with one another . Having listened to a few ideas my wife and I shared about our visions for the new house, how we wanted to live in the new spaces and the budget we had to execute our plans, Kemp Hall Studio seemed to immediately understand our needs and wants. From the initial circle diagrams laying out our rooms and relating them both to one another and to our project site to the final construction documents, Kemp Hall Studio exceeded every one of our expectations. Kemp Hall Studio was punctual, professional, collaborative, accessible and, of course, creative throughout our entire design process. In addition, Kemp Hall Studio was supportive during the construction of our house, for clarification or additional detail, as needed. Kemp Hall Studio is a great firm with which to work and my wife and I would highly recommend them to future clients.

KempHall Studio was hired to design an expansion and complete renovation of our kitchen. The area included removing exterior walls and designing an entirely new kitchen. The redesigned kitchen also included a new mud room, an expanded banquette area, and a new beverage cooler area.

I worked with Steve Kemp on a project the we did toghter in Roswell, GA. It was a very interesting project where the Homeowner was after a very well defined area. After a site visit to the property Steve was able to come up with a GREAT design. The Homeowner loved it and it has turned in to quite the show piece. We hired Kemp Hall to do a full interior renovation on our newly purchased home. From the very first meeting, they listened to our concerns/needs and created a plan that consisted of well designed, highly functional space. They took a traditional ranch and transformed it to a more open plan with large living space and added an additional bedroom, all without adding any square footage. While I've always aspired to have a "nice" or "pretty" home, I've never realized the importance--and joy--of having a space that inspires. Kemp Hall made that a reality for us, all within a budget we could afford. I unreservedly recommend them for the Best of Houzz 2014!

I have desired to build a house with Kemp Hall Studios ever since I saw their work. I am at the beginning stages of the process and it has been amazing to see how quickly Steve Kemp was able to look at the raw piece of land and start envisioning what trees look good where and how the other pieces will come together. Kemp Hall is a full service custom studio and they do mind-blowing work both inside and outside. I will be adding to this review as we go so watch this space.

We hired Steve Kemp for a very large renovation project to an older home. This home was a challenge to renovate since part of it was relatively new and part of it was 1950's. Steve and his team did an incredible job with the floor plan and combining the various rooms to flow perfectly! Steve's creativity and vision ( and patience:), really brought the home to life.The entire team was 'on time' ' on budget' and a delight to work with! Steve's interior designers worked directly with us and helped us from start to finish. We love the home and would definitely hire Steve Kemp and his team to assist with another project.
