Working with Katrina has been an absolutely fantastic experience, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We did not know if we wanted to choose a design build firm, or have an independent architect. One meeting with Katrina was enough to convince us we wanted her to design out home. Throughout the entire process, she demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and mastery of her craft. We had many requests and questions, and Katrina met every single one with remarkable patience and clear, thoughtful guidance. She was incredibly reliable, responsive, and thorough. She clearly does her research, and worked well with our contractor throughout our project, as well at the City to make sure our house meets all required guidelines. Beyond her professional demeanor, Katrina is a truly gifted architect with a brilliant creative vision. She took our initial concepts and elevated them in ways we never could have imagined, all while being meticulously attentive to our family's needs and budget. Her attention to detail is second to none; every corner of our home, from the overall layout to the smallest finishing touch, was thoughtfully considered and perfectly executed. Thanks to Katrina's creativity and dedication, we will have a home that is not only beautiful and unique but also perfectly functional for our family. We are in the last few months before completion, and we always drive by in awe of how truly stunning it looks!

If you are lucky enough to get Katrina to work on your project, your home is truly guaranteed to be beautiful. Don’t be afraid of the wait she’s on- it IS worth it. Katrina designed two residential projects for us. She has the kind of detail-orientedness that we all hope for in our hired professionals; in fact, after working through four builds/renovations in two major cities, we have never worked with someone more thoughtful and precise, who not only built off of a vague description of our dream home, but also gave suggestions as to how to make our dreams even bigger. To boot, she is an extraordinary human being and a (female!) leader in the Denver construction industry, having been published in the Denver Post. She helped us make adaptive pivots to our home when our child was diagnosed with a disability, and we will always deeply appreciate her support and humanity shown during that time. Katrina is an incredibly talented and detail-oriented architect who has the ability to design across several architectural styles and construction budgets. The process of designing and permitting our dream home with Katrina went so smoothly. She took the time to really understand what our needs were as a family and had so many fantastic ideas to ensure we had an efficient and effective layout that met all code requirements. Her meticulous attention to detail allowed us to obtain our building permit in record time because the reviewers didn't have a single comment or redline on our drawing set!!! Katrina also helped us design an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on our property and the layout she created is just perfect.

Katrina has the ability to listen and understand your needs and aesthetic, she has the technical ability to provide elegant solutions, she can work with any County to deliver it, and she is amazingly fast and resilient, providing novel and beautiful solutions for your home. She created special moments in our house that make it special, all while managing costs and structural challenges, and delivered a comfortable reworked flow that revolutionized our lives. I can't say enough positive about Katrina and StudioHoff.

We had a primary suite remodel that involved moving walls, possibly structural, and need for a total redesign. Katrina reimagined and the new space so sensibly and beautifully that, nearly two years later, I have yet to find anything that needs to be tweaked or feel should have been done differently. People regularly tell me the bathroom is one of the most beautiful, welcoming spaces they've ever seen. I can't recommend StudioHoff highly enough.

Katrina was a dream architect to work with. She listened carefully and really turned our jumbled visions into a beautiful reality. She was thoughtful, responsive, and talented. As first time home builders, we leaned on her expertise and she had such a wealth of knowledge on trends, requirements, code, etc. She was especially great at creating an efficient, unique space for us (with no dead space), which really maximized our living area. I would further argue that it was because of her detailed drawings and expertise that our plans were approved by permitting in a timely fashion with NO notes. We would work with her time and time again. A fantastic architect!

Katrina is our go-to architect for designing unique custom homes in Denver. She is extremely detail oriented and knows how to make a vision reality. As a builder I appreciate how she calls out specific details throughout the plan set which clarifies important aspects of the build so the entire team is on the same page.

Katrina came recommended by word of mouth and we really enjoyed working with her on renovation plans for our house. We went through a variety of design iterations related to the master bathroom, basement and more. She was always patient and flexible to dig into our ideas and provided the sort of expertise and advice we desired in an architect to avoid poor decisions. It can be a tough balance to strike between wanting a nice feature (e.g. laundry chute) that doesn't doesn't make sense for a particular property or house design. Katrina was also able to provide constructive insight into decisions related to cost such as attempting to keep part of an existing roof versus getting a new roof entirely.
