Hi Irene, we’re sorry you feel that the service you received was not at the price point you’re comfortable with. We are consistently transparent about the cost of our design services, materials and contractors, and strive to provide great service and full packages for every client. Out of respect for your privacy and the confidentiality of your project, we won’t discuss the details of your specific property, but it is unfair to write this sort of review without including any context to the specifics of this project you suddenly appear to be so unhappy with.

The contract you signed with us clearly disclosed any and all fees and deliverables associated with your project, fees which we greatly reduced in order to be of service for you and guide you through the process of identifying which areas of your property were not in compliance and the various permits that would be needed to begin construction and bring the property up to code.

We delivered for you a full design package that any contractor will be able to use to provide the information for the necessary permits and begin construction on your project, and we delivered this for you at a much-reduced price than the initial contract. We took a hit to our fees because we could see you needed expert guidance in navigating the permitting and construction process, and we want to be helpful. In the six plus months we worked together, in our frequent discussions and communications, you never expressed at any time that you were uncomfortable with the cost of design services proposed.

If anything, we feel there was a lack of transparency from you, in that you were not forthcoming with your actual budget and comfortability with the real costs of the project. Our goal is to build a trusting relationship with each and every client so we can deliver exceptional service and create a product together that you are happy with. We are always here and available for you to discuss any aspect of your project, and make recommendations that get you to a final product you’re happy with!
