About Us

My design specialty is space planning. It all starts with the challenges of your existing conditions. Can we expand the space by removing a wall? Do you need more storage? Can we create more countertop space? Once we have the room dimensions on paper, the real fun begins. I start by creating two or three floorplan options to address those challenges. After the floorplan is chosen, we focus on the details. You will have a renovation tour guide every step of the way. This journey will improve the way you live in your home. I have never done a major renovation before, so having Mary Anne to guide me gave me the peace of mind and confidence to finally update my kitchen. Along the way we also added the remodeling of our powder room into a full bath to the project. In addition to her design expertise, Mary Anne connected me with excellent craftsmen including the cabinet-maker and the contractor. Her "Design by Your Side" package also provided much needed guidance on making my selections. The transformation of my 1988 kitchen makes me happy every day.

I worked with Mary Anne Bugnoni of Brugnoni Design on updating my 1941 bathroom. We came up with a great design to make it feel like a vintage bathroom but all new. She suggested some changes that would never have occurred to me, and she brought great taste and resources---including an excellent contractor and a master cabinetmaker--to the project. Further, Mary Anne is so easy to work with! She brings such enthusiasm and a positive, "can do" attitude to her work which made this fairly inexperienced client feel comfortable in making big--and sometimes expensive--decisions. She's always responsive and sensitive to budget. I LOVE my "new but vintage-looking" bathroom. And working with Brugnoni Design was a pleasure. I highly recommend!

I hired Mary Anne to design my small bathroom. At our first design meeting we discussed using black and white as our theme. She ran with that idea! The new vanity was designed to include a slim base cabinet by the bathrooms entry. This cabinet extended the countertop and added extra storage space. Mary Anne shopped for the materials and brought back options to simply the decision making process. The transformation was a dramatic! The end result is a gorgeous bathroom that worked with the existing footprint and stayed with in my budget. I would highly recommend Mary Anne for all of your design needs.

We hired Mary Anne to draw our new home in 3D. The builder gave us floor plans and exterior elevations on a model home that was compatible with our preferences. The 3D images she provided made it much easier to envision and tailor to our specific desires. Mary Anne shared specific suggestions on how the entire first floor could be improved. She reorganized the kitchen layout, enlarged the laundry room, rerouted the pantry entrance, adjusted door swings, enlarged the master shower, repositioned the front windows and more. We implemented the changes and viewed them in 3D. It looked amazing! We highly recommend Mary Anne for her space planning guidance and her trained expertise. We could have never done this on our own.
