Our journey with Scott, Donna and the design team started 10 years ago...having purchased acreage in south central Tennessee 15 years prior in anticipation of retiring to the country life, we were finally ready to begin the search for an architect. During her inquiries Kimberly discovered Scott's web site. After seeing his sunroom designs and reading his bio and vision statement we knew we wanted to work with Scott. At our first meeting Scott asked us to describe our dream home. He took our initial concepts and over the course of the next three years designed and patiently revised our plans several times as our ideas evolved. He then helped us interview potential contractors and visited their job sites to evaluate their projects. Having selected a contractor, we retained Scott for the duration of the project. His services were invaluable during construction. Scott was intimately involved in every detail. He personally accompanied us and helped us choose roofing materials, brick and stone, flooring, windows and doors and even timber slabs for mantels. He consulted with our contractor regularly and performed onsite inspections weekly to ensure quality and adherence to standards. His efforts persevered through the Covid pandemic with its worker shortages and supply chain delays and a comprehensive inspection before giving his final approval of the completed project. We've been in the house now for 3 years and could not be happier with the outcome. It's the realization of our dream home. When designing our sunroom, one thing we wanted was to make it look like it was part of our home and for it to be unique. We used Scott Wilson for our design needs. Scott Wilson is a very respected architect in Nashville, TN, who was recommended to me by Kathy Anderson, of Anderson Design Studio, to design and draw plans for my new home. Scott provided me provided with several design options and they were all well thought out. I picked one and was thrilled with the outcome! He was very patient and hands on during the building process. Numerous times my builder needed to speak with him about certain facets of the plans. Scott was always available with answers and clarifications for my builder. I would definitely use him again!

Scott was fantastic to work with. We started with a blank sheet of paper and we simply described our vision. He was able to hear us, make a few attempts, and nailed what we were seeing. Scott is a gifted man, very patient, and very easy to work with. It hit me that his greatest gift was hearing our individual vision, but get out of his own ideas and give us what we wanted, not what he suggested, a large difference.

I have used Scott and his team for many of our customers and for many of my custom homes. Each time my expectations were exceeded from concept, to design, to follow through during construction.
