The Kitchen Master

From our very first meeting with Tracy, our designer, to our last day with Tom, our project manager, we had an excellent experience with The Kitchen Master and would highly recommend them. Tracy pulled together design layout, materials, specific patterns/colors to create exactly what we were looking for. A budget was presented and she worked with us, understanding our need to stick to it with no “surprises.” The showroom had plenty of samples to consider as well as a computerized representation of our final design. Needless improvements and unnecessary upgrades never came up. Tom assembled a top-notch skilled team of artisans who love their craft; Anthony, Damon, Oscar, Mike, Jose, electricians and plumbers and many others. They were considerate of our home and respected the fact that we had to live there during the project. We were pleased with the way they cleaned up daily. The Kitchen Master’s use of the Buildertrend app afforded us a daily calendar of the work to be done and who would be at our home as well as a summary and photos of work completed on any specific day. Communication with Tom and Tracy was excellent, having our questions and concerns dealt with promptly through email and phone. Explanations of process and inspections was thorough. This is the 5th home we’ve owned and the investment was worth it because we went with the A Team -- The Kitchen Master!

My husband and I moved to Illinois from Texas to be nearer our family. The home we purchased needed a kitchen remodel. Our son was doing the leg work for us while we were still in Texas. He was impressed with the owner’s questions concerning the amount and type of cooking I preferred. We decided to go with The Kitchen Master and never regretted it. Whenever we had a question or concern either Ted ( owner)or Tom ( project mgr) would call us back within 5-10 minutes! Ted would call to how things were going, was I happy with their progress, etc. The workers were here before 7 am and began at 7 am. The “trash” was removed daily and the work area was left clean each day. No dumpster outside either. NEVER did they not show up to work. They were professional and we never felt they were in the way. We had them replace the entire ground flooring. I received a wonderful kitchen and am still VERY pleased. I now have tons of storage space, pull out drawers, lots of light and electrical plugs. After seeing our kitchen, our neighbor decided to go with The Kitchen Master for her remodeling job. It too turned out beautifully. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Our Kitchen designed and installed by The Kitchen Master turned out absolutely beautiful, beyond our expectation. Their team was professional and courteous answering all of our questions throughout the process and keeping to the timetable to complete the project. We had a complete kitchen renovation down to the studs, including most of our first level flooring. They tied it into our existing rooms perfectly. I highly recommend their work for anyone, and our friends have already contacted them asking for quotes for their kitchens! In May of 2022, we made the decision to update our 1987 built home. We were apprehensive as we had never undertaken a project of this scope. After considerable research and multiple in-person meetings with selected firms, we chose The Kitchen Master to manage and perform this daunting project for us. Three bathrooms and the kitchen would all be completely renovated, as well as hardwood floors (some refurbished and some new) and fresh paint in most of the house. We met with Joseph Kiselyk, our designer, throughout the summer and fall, planning in great detail the major changes and renovations that were about to occur. Work began on January 3, 2023, and was completed on time and on budget the first of May. To say we are pleased with The Kitchen Master would be a gross understatement. They were simply fantastic. From efficiently managing all the sub-contractors, answering our endless questions, and providing viable options and solutions as the project unfolded, we always felt we were part of a highly functioning team of experts. We can’t say enough about this team of professionals. Joseph’s vision and creativity are unparalleled. He really took the time to get to know us and understand our tastes and ideas. Tom, the project manager, is simply the best. His visibility and vigilance with the project was much appreciated. Both he and Joseph were with us every step of the way. Anthony, Josh, Ray, Rick and Audel treated us like family. They were all a pleasure to have in our home throughout the entire process. The same can be said for each of the sub-contractors and their teams. We are truly enjoying our new home and cannot provide enough accolades for the firm. So I had my kitchen remodeled, from new cabinets new countertops new floors new lighting. Everyone was nice. However, when the project was done, I found few details about the quality. 1. The ceiling wasn’t painted with at list a primer, they said they don’t do that. So they left it unpainted. They cut some existing trimming but never replaced it nicely. It looks ugly until now. So when the whole project was done, Project Manager stop by for his final check and said to us, “the designer will stop by and will give you a chopping board for your new kitchen” , until this day we never heard from him( we don’t need the chopping), but we expected him to see the finished product, not even a phone call to this date.

We are beyond thrilled with our kitchen remodel from The Kitchen Master. First, our work with their designer Stacy was a joy. She is so creative, communicative, and detailed that she made the process comfortable and fun. And her ideas were amazing - took the rough plan we had in our heads and turned it into something gorgeous. When work started it was led by the project manager Tom. This guy knew everything about everything and was always on top of what was going on. Since we were both working from home he had to put up with a lot of our questions and live updates, and handled every one with class. The carpenters on the team, Anthony and Josh were always on time, always clean, always friendly and their work was perfect. Anthony led the demo - clean and efficient, while Josh did the bulk of our installations and finish work - and it was all perfect. I mean not the tiniest flaw. It's worth noting that all their sub's - Plumbing, Electric, Floor and especially Tile were all outstanding as well. Each did fantastic work, on time and way above expectations. Kudos to the owner Ted for finding and retaining such great talent. Our final product is a real show-piece, something we'll enjoy and be proud of for years. We are so lucky to have worked with The Kitchen Master!

I would highly recommend The Kitchen Master! From planning to completion they were great to work with! Stacy was my designer and she was extremely patient with all my questions and indecisiveness! The team that did the work was just great! Tom always gave me notice as to when and who would be working and what time they would arrive. He also checked on the work every step of the way. Josh who worked on the carpentry/cabinetry is the best! Again, patient with my questions and indecision! The garage and the kitchen were totally cleaned up at the end of each work day. The work area was totally sealed off and I had almost no "construction dust." The project started on schedule and finished up a couple days ahead of the original schedule. I choose them because I felt most comfortable with their approach to the project and I definitely made the right choice!

My wife and I hired The Kitchen Master company to completely re-do the kitchen from our home built in the 1960's. Our designer was Adam Hartig and he was comfortable to work with and gave us designs to fit within our price range. Our project manager was Tom Meyers. Tom showed up almost daily to coordinate with us and the builders and was easily reachable by phone. Anthony did most of the work on the house. He was courteous, personable, and clean. We felt comfortable having him in our home on a daily basis and the work he did was precise. Every company used by The Kitchen Master (floors, plumbing, electric, etc.) showed up when they were supposed to, worked hard, and left us with a product we could be proud of. I would highly recommend The Kitchen Master and intend to use their services for a few projects in the future.

Our experience with the Kitchen Master has been fantastic. We had them rework our master bathroom. We couldn't be more happy with the results and the five year warranty is something you just don't find anywhere else. Several years ago, our house caught fire by a lightning strike and to make a long story short, the builder hired to rebuild it came up short on the quality and workmanship side of things. My wife and I were not happy with the results they left us with, so we hired a different company to come in and "fix" the bath. I won't name them, but they were even worse than the builders we originally had. So at this point we had an unusable master bath that was worked on twice and cost us thousands of dollars. We found the Kitchen Master and liked what we saw on their web page so we contacted them to help us with our hopeless master bath once and for all. From our first meeting with our designer, Anna, everything just went unbelievably smoothly. She guided us through all of our selection choices and helped us to pick out the items we were on the fence about, right in their showroom. The actual demolition and re-construction work was completed by Josh. We've dealt with quite a few contractors over the years and unfortunately, most of them we were not happy with but Josh was terrific. A professional through and through, he had the knowledge to get the work done quickly and at a high level of quality. Everything that was done, all the tile work, the custom glass shower and the installation of our new vanity counter looks absolutely amazing. His attention to detail was remarkable and the work he did to get things done right, did not go unnoticed by us. Tom our project manager, always kept us up to date with scheduling the work, and was in constant contact with us to let us know what would happen with the job at any given time. He was a great point of contact and never failed to answer our questions and return our calls or emails. We always knew what was happening with our remodel and never felt out of the loop in any way. Everyone we worked with at the Kitchen Master treated us with respect and put us at ease with their knowledge and level of professionalism. From the start we felt like we were in good hands. If and when we decide to remodel another bathroom, we will not hesitate to call on them. It's nice to finally feel like we've found a high quality team to work with that we can trust. We’re very happy that we chose The Kitchen Master for our recent remodel. Designer Anna Lehner really “got” our style and guided us ably through all the decisions to realize our dreams. Foreman Tom Myers kept us well informed and our project on schedule. All the installers (and especially Marek Kostko) did meticulous work. We are delighted with our beautiful, functional new kitchen!

Wonderful people to work with. They helped us with a bathroom remodel. They helped with design and ordered materials though we used a separate contractor to do the work. They were great and really cared about our project. Terrific customer service. Couldn't have had a better experience.

I found The Kitchen Master through Google – they’re between me and my train station, I’ve driven by thousands of times and never knew it was there! I worked with Anna for design, who came to the house and immediately pointed out all the little things I hated about my master bath before I could volunteer them. Both she, Tom (project manager) and everyone else I dealt with had great attention to detail, provided great design advise (because boy do I need it), and had excellent communication – available by email and phone, plus you can see day by day progress through their nifty web portal. Jobs were completed expediently, with basically zero punch list items. All around, just a really pleasant, zero stress experience, which was very important for me as I travel constantly for my job and needed someone doing the work that I didn’t feel like I needed to babysit. I was even confident and comfortable enough with their work that I went on an international vacation while my bathroom was being done! I can’t say that about any of the other people I’ve worked with in the house. Plus they went the extra mile to figure out how to deal with some unique materials in my townhouse (a weird subfloor that needed some special handling) and what had stymied other flooring companies in the past was a complete non-issue for these guys. So far I’ve had them replace my kitchen floor and all but gut my master bathroom, and I’ll absolutely use them again for the other bathroom in the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Kitchen Master and Anna specifically to anyone looking for remodeling.
