My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Worming with Martine was great. She helped my find beautiful pieces and various price points and my space looks so much brighter and elevated bc of her.

I had the pleasure of working with Martine at Temescal Sustainable Interior design, to design my studio apartment, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She expertly assisted with furniture selection and placement. Her keen eye for detail was evident in the thoughtful choices of lamps, chairs, and plants that truly brought the space together. Additionally, she helped me select the perfect colors for the walls to complement the design, adding a refreshing and lively touch to the apartment. One of the standout aspects of working with Martine was her creativity in coming up with multiple layout ideas that perfectly fit within my budget. She was incredibly responsive to any questions I had and consistently provided a variety of options for me to choose from, always offering insightful suggestions for alternative approaches. When I encountered an issue with furniture store, Martine promptly stepped in and resolved the problem with the store, saving me a great deal of stress. Her dedication to ensuring everything went smoothly was invaluable. Overall, Martine transformed my studio apartment into a beautifully designed, functional space that I love. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a talented and reliable designer.

I have worked with Martine and Temescal on several projects including our laundry room, bathroom, and dining remodel. I wish I could give more stars. Martine brings positive and endless energy along with her knowledge of various products and finishes to create functional art. Start to finish Temescal was on top of everything and able to help us transform our space into a clean useable area that we will be able to love for years to come. We have another project coming up and I can't wait to work with Temescal again!

Working with Martine has been an excellent experience. Her timelines, kindness, and professional expertise helped me transform my childhood bedroom into an “adult” bedroom. With her suggestions - I was able to do the following upgrades- - put a painting above my bed to give it a wider look -put in 2 new neutral nightstands that were more age appropriate - put 2 lamps on my nightstands My room went from a room for a 14 year old into an age appropriate room for a 26 year old. Thank you Martine!! You’re the best!

I have worked with Martine on a couple of different projects and will continue to work with her on everything I do going forward. Her ability to listen and understand the needs of her clients, coupled with her attention to detail and her impeccable design, led to such an amazing process and a beautiful finished product. Her designs are not only stunning, but she is able to take into consideration functionality and sustainability, all while being cost and budget conscious along the way. She truly is a wizard at what she does!

Working with Martine, owner of Temescal Creative was an honor and a pleasure. I knew that she was extraordinarily talented after hearing about her background education and work experiences. Her intelligence and outgoing warm personality are immediately engaging. I was looking for someone to help update our guest room of 23 years. She asked what I was thinking of doing. She looked at the space and was then able to come up with ideas. I selected some of her suggestions that immediately appealed. For instance, we changed the handles on the bedside tables to be bolder and more modern, bought 2 fabulous statement lamps for the side tables, removed the twin beds and iron headboard, and ordered a beautiful queen size bed so that the room actually looks larger. We enjoyed choosing bed linen so that it would stay within a neutral tone. We are still looking for white accessories. Meanwhile, there are things I still want to keep in the room, such as the chest of drawers and the curtains. I loved how she could incorporate and integrate with her design with what was already there. I have some other rooms that I would like to improve. Unequivocally I will consult Temescal Creative. She gets high marks from me and she is a recommendation that you cannot ignore. Thank you Temescal Creative and Martine.

I can't say enough good things about working with Martine, owner of Temescal Creative. I needed to transform my space, and Martine was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, and helpful in redecorating and arranging my home. She has a unique attention to detail and knows how to simplify the process in order to make so easy to do and not intimidating. She's great about using what you already have instead of suggesting you change or buy a bunch of stuff, which is helpful if you're on a budget. Will absolutely work with her again!
