Teters Art

My experience commissioning Teters Art for my artwork was fantastic from start to finish. I initially coordinated with Jerry's wife/curator/manager Betty, who helped me through the entire process. Viewing Jerry's work I honed in on pieces that I liked and the feeling they evoked. I then spoke with Jerry and Betty regarding my vision and desires. I provided them with my color palette and fabric samples and Jerry got to work painting his inspiration based on all the information we discussed. The result was a gorgeous, original painting that reflects my desires for a unique piece that makes a statement in my home. Jerry and Betty were a joy to work with. Communication was smooth and professional. Of course Jerry's talent speaks for itself. I love my beautiful painting!

I have worked with the Teter team on a couple of projects already and they are not only talented but collaborative and philanthropic to boot. Jerry's art has a wide arc, ranging in different styles. His work is painterly and ethereal and just when you think you know his style you see something completely different. I love the process of working with them to custom make an art piece for a client. For a recent custom made painting, when paint brush came to canvas it was spot on to where we were in our head and exactly where we were when thinking about the piece. They donated a very large, gorgeous painting for a room I designed at a charity event and it was meant to capture the feeling and freedom of the sea. The painting was meant to reside over the fireplace in this French seaside dining room and it became the star of the space with the perfect palette and feeling, and this abstract painting added a modern element to the otherwise quite traditional space. It completed the room. They are professional, flexible and a joy to work with. I hope to work with them in the near future agin, and I highly recommend bringing a special piece of Jerry's art into your home or the home's of your clients.

The piece, like all his work, is exquisite. My clients and I were very ecstatic and pleased when we received it. Jerry Teters' work has a vitality and sense of form that always invites me in. I LOVE his use of color, and I often find a sense of joy in the vividness of his paintings. I've seen many of his works, and I've had a mixed-media piece of his on my wall for many years that I enjoy anew each time I see it!

Jerry Teters' paintings are glorious and original, and I look forward to being able buy more so I can give them as presents to my friends. i especially love the new series he's working on.
