Tobala Interiors was an incredible partner in the renovation of my hotel. They helped bring the interior spaces to life with thoughtful color palettes, upscale furnishings, and a design aesthetic that really elevated the entire property. Their sense of style is refined but never overdone — exactly what I was hoping for. What I appreciated most was how responsive and collaborative they were throughout the process. Whether it was adjusting floor plans, sourcing the perfect pieces, or rethinking a finish at the last minute, they were always quick to respond and easy to work with. They understood the vision and helped shape it into something even better than I imagined. I’d absolutely work with them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a design team that’s talented, reliable, and just great to have in your corner.

Mihica is a gem. During a long-anticipated kitchen remodel in my family’s circa-1940 Los Angeles ranch house, she repeatedly arrived with fresh ideas, reassurance and backup options when I started to second-guess our initial choices. I lost track of the variations of “happy green” cabinet paint we examined over the 15-month process. Mihica was consistently patient and showed incredible attention to detail throughout the planning, design and execution phases. Her research skills are top-notch, accomplishing in hours what would take me weeks to track down. (Hello, PFAS-free toaster oven!) She worked seamlessly with our contractor and cabinet maker. Best of all, she respected my preferences for bright color and contrast, while gently tempering my enthusiasm for competing hues. On the rare occasion I didn’t take her advice, she emphasized that she wanted me to love the final space. And I do! We couldn’t be more delighted with our colorful new kitchen’s visual appeal, spaciousness and functionality. Thanks to Mihica and the Tobalá Interiors team, it’s a dream come true.

We absolutely LOVE Mihica and are so grateful for her help in making our house into a home. We engaged her in the summer of 2024 to help us with the main floor of our home, and after the completion of that work have already engaged her to do work on a couple of other rooms. She has done an excellent job reflecting our own style and preferences but elevating them with her great taste. We are also thankful for her excellent management of vendors/contractors, etc. She is very responsive and stays in close communication with us throughout the project. We are eager to work with her in the future and would enthusiastically recommend her to others!

Her eye for interior design is unmatched — she has a way of transforming spaces into something beautiful, functional, and unique. Every detail is intentional, and her professionalism shines through from start to finish. I love working with her and her team. Mihica was an absolute delight to work with for our home transformation from NYC to Hermosa Beach California. After an unexpected move out west we found ourselves with relatively new furniture but it didn’t feel right in our new space. With her thoughtful approach we felt heard and absolutely delighted with the final product. She took our city apartment furniture and made small tweaks to accents, art and reconfiguring items into different rooms that I would have never imagined to make our house feel a lot more laid back beachy! She has an eye for detail but listens to feedback and works closely with your vision. We couldn’t recommend her more for someone looking for a designer that isn’t pushy and looking to meet the client needs. This wasn’t our biggest project but I will definitely be back to work with Team Tobala for our next project!
