TR Inspired Design

We absolutely loved working with Tracy! We hired her to design, furnish and style all the main living spaces in our home including the living room, family room and dining room. Our home is an open floor plan and all the areas needed to flow. She was very considerate of our style and budget, and I was amazed by her ability to take both mine and my husbands preferences into consideration. Tracy knows the industry and has great contacts in Charlottesville as well as New York. Our furniture is not only to scale, but also extremely comfortable and functional. She didn’t overwhelm us with too many choices which made the decision making process so much easier. Most importantly, she took our kids and dog into consideration when picking out rugs and fabrics. She was super fast to respond to our emails while giving us ample time to make decisions, and she followed through on ordering and delivery. Our project was completed on time for our big family reunion. Tracy is fun and easy to work with! She did a phenomenal job, and the result is everything we hoped for! The incredible interior design results of the house that we built on 15 Juniper Rd were due to the efforts and talents of Tracy Reidenhouer of TR Inspired Design. Starting from scratch with new construction, Tracy helped navigate us through what would have been seas of tile design, paint color and finishes, light fixtures, bathroom fixtures, an entire house of cabinetry hardware...an the list goes on and on. In every area, she would listen to our thoughts, carefully note what she heard us saying, and then interpret those ideas into a well thought out selection of choices. Instead of us wandering into a tile store, for example, and being overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choices, she would present us with 3 or 4 of her interpretations - and was able to deliver us what we were looking for each time. She is also very very accomodating and patient. She was always very professional, but her dynamic southern charm and personality lent itself very well in feeling like we were working with an old friend. She seemed to "get" us, and intuitively know what paths to take us down. We are very happy with our end product, and owe so much of it to her incredible insight and vision. I can't say enough good things about Tracy and TR Inspired Design - she truly exceeded all of our expectations!

We hired Tracy to design, source and oversee the installation of window treatments in our adjoining family room and kitchen (~15 Windows). Her impressive portfolio of work was equally sophisticated and contemporary. Tracy took the time to understand our family's needs, take in our existing decor and recommend several amazing designs which we had a hard time choosing from. Once design was agreed, she sourced three different suppliers and a varying price range of fabrics. Tracy was always one step ahead of us in the process - following up on the order, timing, next steps and ultimately installation. She is incredibly talented, professional, thoughtful. We highly recommend her and look forward to working with her on future projects.
