I have used Urban Design to build one home and remodel two others over a period of 20 years. I have dealt mostly with Lee. He is a very talented architect and pleasure to work with. I have loved the result of each project. Lee has ideas that go beyond the architecture. He blends well with the designer and the home owner. He listens!!

For over a decade I had dreamed of designing a home with Lee Hutchison, who's work I deeply admired. We purchased a home in Desert Highlands, that had spectacular views, but I hated the house, which was very dated and too small. So we called Urban Design and met with Lee, to see if he could work his design magic and make our home into the "Organic Pueblo" house of my dreams. To our good fortune, we got to work with his talented daughter, Jessica Hutchison-Rough , as well, and they created a piece of art, that we now get to call home! Urban Design was wonderful to work with , professional, incredibly creative and willing to work collaboratively with us, to design a spectacular, artistic, livable home. If you have the opportunity to work with Urban Design and the Hutchison team, I highly recommend that you do, as they will create YOUR dream home too!

My husband and I worked with Lee Hutchison on a new building project in New Mexico several years ago. The execution of the plans to accommodate an extremely sloping lot was incredible. Just prior to breaking ground, job relocation forced an interstate move. To this day, we marvel at those intricately beautiful drawings and the one of a kind architectural design, which makes their homes surreal. If you are lucky enough to walk through one of their projects, be prepared to be mesmerized.

Ashley P Designs has been associated with Urban Design Associates since 1998. I have done the interiors of many of the fine homes that UDA has designed. In my humble opinion UDA is one of the most preeminate Architects in the Southwest and I value my professional relationship with Lee and Jessie . Their architectural plans are some of the best that I have ever used and they work in a timely focused manner.

I have worked with Urban Design Associates of Scottsdale, AZ as a builder for the past 15 years, and am intimately familiar with their design craft and work product. They are, without question, one of the very best residential architectural firms serving the Southwest in existence today. From extracting the necessary client information in the very beginning, to the conceptual design drawings which capture the client's intentions for their dream home, to the construction documents which are the best and most detailed in the industry...UDA is first class in every respect. In my opinion, to consider UDA for any high end, custom home project would be a wise choice.
