We recently completed a major remodel with Veron Builders that included our primary bathroom, walk-in closet, laundry room, and our daughter's bathroom. We could not be happier with both the process and the final results. One of the biggest challenges of this project was reimagining the layout of both bathrooms to maximize functionality and make the best use of the available space—particularly our daughter's bathroom, which had a very small footprint. Colbea, our designer, did an outstanding job envisioning creative and practical layouts that transformed both spaces. She listened carefully to our ideas, incorporated requested changes, and expertly guided us through the many design decisions along the way. Tony, our Project Manager, was exceptional throughout the project. He was highly communicative, detail-oriented, and kept everything moving on schedule. Most importantly, he consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the project met our expectations and that we were completely satisfied with the outcome. Tom Veron remained actively involved throughout the remodel, regularly checking in and personally coming by whenever questions or concerns arose. We hired Veron Builders for a full kitchen renovation, new flooring, interior doors, one full bathroom remodel, and a partial bathroom update. Overall, we had a really good experience. Tom was involved throughout the project and kept in regular communication, which we really appreciated. He stuck to the timeline and clearly cared about the quality of the work. His team paid attention to detail, and it shows in the final result. Like with most renovations, a few unexpected issues came up and Tom helped us figure out an affordable and safe solution quickly, which took a lot of stress off our plate. Even after the job was finished, Tom stayed responsive. When a door broke due to high winds, he came by and fixed it without any hassle which we appreciated. Our house looks great now and we’d recommend Veron Builders to anyone looking to do a home renovation.

The quality you get from Veron is extremely worth their fair pricing. Their subcontractors also do great work and are super communicative. Houzz - I am resubmitting the review of Veron Builders that I submitted on 5/25/23 that has not yet been posted. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Veron Builders and Boulder Design Group (Tom Veron’s sister company) for a straightforward kitchen renovation project. We experienced substantial and unreasonable delay in moving our project from the design to the build phase. Months after our design and cabinet order was complete, we couldn’t get a finalized scope or timeline for the project. Communication with Tom Veron was erratic and unprofessional. He had endless excuses for the delays and blamed everyone around him. We had a good experience with our contract designer at Boulder Design Group (BDG), but after she left BDG, we struggled to get information about the status of our cabinet order and confirm delivery of the remaining pieces. We ended up picking up the remaining pieces ourselves because we couldn’t get Tom to commit to a delivery plan. We finally concluded that the excessive and unreasonable delays and unprofessional communication amount to a material breach of the build contract and walked away. We’re sharing this review because we think people are entitled to honest, factual reviews of businesses in our community.

We regret the unfortunate circumstances surrounding your project and the challenges we encountered along the way. As a general contractor, we strive to adhere to industry standards and ensure detailed-oriented work. We understand that you had requested to complete your own plumbing work (unlicensed & uninsured) months ago to reduce costs, despite having signed a contract that outlined the project's process.

It is important to note that when we informed you that no warranties would be withheld once you became involved in the process, it seemed to cause frustration and delayed the start of your project, as well as finalizing the scope of work. Additionally, due to a shortage of employees, we had to adjust the start date for one day, which you were understandably not accepting, leading to the cancellation of the contract.

Throughout our interactions, there were discussions regarding potential solutions, and Tom made efforts to reach out to you, even taking time after working hours and on Easter Sunday to find a resolution. However, it became apparent that you were determined to cancel the contract once Veron Builders established certain boundaries and referenced the items stated in the signed agreement.

Regarding the communication with Boulder Design Group, your Designer and main contact provided you with essential information about your cabinetry. Unfortunately, we were unaware that you were dissatisfied with the communication, and we deeply regret any misunderstanding or frustration caused. As for the warranty cabinetry, it was not delivered to your home because the outstanding 25% of the cabinetry cost, which the Boulder Design Group had already paid to the manufacturer, had not been settled.

While we were unable to meet your expectations, we are glad that you were able to find another contractor to complete your project. We sincerely hope that you are enjoying your new space.

We received several bath remodel estimates from various contractors. We landed on Veron and are so glad we did. Tom, the owner, took the time to not only go over options of what we could do, he clearly explained their process and answered all my questions and even the additional questions I followed up with in email. The project scope was clearly outlined and detailed. What really stood out was the app that they used to log daily activity and keep track of milestones within the office and team. Communication was easy and someone always responded right away. Spencer, Tim, Josh, and Scott were very considerate of our space, friendly, did great work, and paid attention to the details. Creative problem solvers, they worked hard to ensure we were happy with every aspect of the remodel and to top it off, they finished earlier than estimated! We were really happy overall and look forward to working with them on our next project.

We had solicited bids from 3 builders and are so glad we went with Veron because they did a super job remodeling our 3 bathrooms. The owner Tommy was hands on throughout the process, provided the most thorough detailed proposal, and truly cared about getting the project done on time and with high quality. More importantly, Chris our project manager was excellent. He was onsite every day either to do the work or supervise the subcontractors. He had amazing attention to detail and kept everything moving ahead even when there were hiccups with supplies due to COVID. He also was great about keeping everything as clean as possible throughout the whole project. We also appreciate the design support that Veron provided which was very reasonably priced compared to what others in the design world charge. All in all the bathrooms look awesome and we are very happy with the look and quality of the final product. I have already referred Veron to others and suggest you add them to your consideration set. You wont be sorry.

We worked with Tom on a bathroom add, a remodel of another bathroom and the painting of our kitchen cabinets. The new bathroom add was tricky as it is on the second floor and all the mechanicals are in the basement, and I was worried about change orders if they ran into obstacles. But throughout the process, Tom and his team were professional and on budget. Every contractor was friendly and knowledgeable, respectful of our space both personal and our home. We began a kitchen makeover in June. We hired Veron Builders, but initially worked with the Handyman side of the business because it wasn't an extensive remodel. We were initially frustrated because our point guy was not very communicative on timelines and things were dragging out far longer than anticipated. Things turned around when he left the company and we began to work directly with Tom. Tom immediately kicked our project into high gear and made sure to correct any issues that occurred before his involvement. He is easy to communicate with and truly cares about the quality of work completed under his watch. When out project was mostly complete we were still waiting on a part to complete our vent hood install. He was happy to come back months later (when the part finally came in) to install it for us. This was after we had already paid out and I could imagine a company with less integrity ignoring my messages as there was no monetary incentive to come back out. We are so happy with how our kitchen has been transformed and would absolutely recommend Veron Builders for your remodel needs. We will be remodeling our basement/laundry room in the future and we hope to hire Veron Builders again.

I highly recommend Veron Builders! Tom Veron and his crew remodeled our master bathroom and master bedroom, transforming it from a cramped and depressing space to one that is now beautiful and spacious! Tom was extremely professional, and did a great job at explaining all aspects of his quotes and invoices, the work itself, and the couple of necessary changes that we encountered along the way. He was wonderful with his communication and responsiveness. The work itself is great, and very high quality. Work included everything from new and moved walls and doors, a new shower, tile work and hardwood floors, new ventilation and lighting, and installation of vanity, sinks, toilet and other finishings. Living in a home with active construction over a four-week period can be hectic, but Tom and his team were great, and made things as smooth as possible. They were very friendly each day, and kept everything as clean as possible. I will definitely work with Tom Veron and his team for future projects!

Tom and his team remodeled a bathroom for us, and they completed a few smaller projects as well. I really couldn't be any happier with the projects, both as they unfolded in process and in the final outcome. The bathroom was transformed from a safety hazard, with shower doors hanging by threads and a barely functional 1960s-era bathtub, to a beautiful, tranquil space. Tom was extremely kind and helpful during the process, offering just the right amount of guidance and perspective as I picked materials. The project turned out so well that a couple of friends in the design industry began taking photos and gathering ideas from the bathroom. Perhaps what impresses me the most is how genuinely kind Tom and his team are - my three children (and our dog) adore Tom and his crew, and all three boys looked forward to the work team turning up each day. Tom leads his team and his projects with genuine integrity. Everything was completed as promised and on time. Each person involved in the projects was hardworking, respectful, and kind-hearted. I first hired Tom to do a big exterior remodel, in 2017. His former customers praised him. So do I, and so do the people I've since passed his name to. Later, I hired him to remodel our bathroom, then to completely remodel the interior and, finally, to serve as general contractor for exterior landscaping. He's an excellent communicator, does what he says he will, makes solid estimates and recommendations, finishes on time, & stays within budget. The results are jaw-droppingly beautiful. Hire him again? You bet.

We have been using Tom and Veron Builders for 5 years. They have worked on a number of projects in different residences ranging from room remodels (kitchen, bath, living rooms) to outside work on decks, rails etc. Projects ranged from mid to high end in our own residence and rental properties.
