We recently sold our property in Hawaii, in Kamuela on Hawaii Island, that closed on July 10, 2025. It consisted of our personal residence with two rental units. I cannot say enough about Valerie, and her team, at Mahalo Hale. She and her staff are wonderful to work with. From the first meeting, when she walked into our home, and walked around, you could see her mind working. She was so excited and had wonderful ideas to brighten up our home as well to make it roomy and comfortable. Her prices are fair and definitely worth it when selling your home. We couldn’t believe that we had an offer BEFORE our home went on the market. And when it was time to de-stage, she set up everything in a timely matter, and was on time and quick. If you want your home to sell quickly, and want an honest and reliable person to work with, give Mahalo Hale a call. Your home will sell fast, so be prepared!! We used Mahalo Hale to stage our condo, to sell.

My husband and I recently purchased a large condo at the Mauna Lani. As we live in Seattle, we needed a local expert to help us refresh the décor so it would feel comfortable and catch the eye of potential upscale vacation rental customers. I discovered Mahalo Hale online and was attracted to Valerie’s decorating style and her personalized approach. With a large inventory of décor and furnishings for home staging, Valerie was able to quickly refresh several key pieces of furniture avoiding long lead times of shipping furniture to the island. She tapped into local resources for a mix of high and low décor pieces to meet our budget with bright punches of color for pillows and beautiful teak pieces. And she introduced us to local artists for some paintings to help tie the whole look together while supporting the local economy. I can highly recommend Valerie’s eye for design and her resourcefulness.

I wished I had before pictures because what Valerie did was nothing short of miraculous. I didn't need her to stage my house for selling but to arrange the furniture and items for living. I had never felt comfortable with the arrangement that we had and i just couldn't see a 'different' way. Well, this fabulous, loving, personable lady came and transformed everything to where I now feel like I'm loving in a clean, modern comfortable home that is sparse but feels great. I would hire Valerie for any staging needs that you have as well as any interior decorating that you need. She has an artists brain and can see things so clearly. Really loved her. Wow! What can we say, Valerie really took our house to the next level. After investing so much time and expense into upgrading and remodelling to prep our home for the market, we really wanted it to make a strong showing that would result in a quick sale at the maximum price.
