Their professional experience provided them with insights that made the gut renovation as painless as possible in Manhattan. I am looking to them to now help on a Florida project.

Wadia Associates is a great company to work with. They care about their projects and want things done professionally. They have a great knowledge of building a home from the ground up The company is always concerned of the clients budget and giving them a quality job. They work very hard to do all their projects with in budget and deadlines.

My husband and I hired Wadia Associates to renovate a rather ordinary builder colonial with water views and the result has been nothing short of miraculous. The structure was an awkward combination of shingles, brick and misplaced Palladian windows, The rear of the house was flat with misaligned windows of various sizes. Water views were blocked by kitchen cabinetry and a poorly place deck. The renovation involved demolishing most of the interior down to the studs, reconfiguring many of the rooms, adding a full length covered porch with two towers of bay windows overlooking the water and adding cathedral ceilings in many rooms. The disorganized front was very cleverly unified with a reconfiguration of the front porch roof and dining room bay window. The house in now gracious from every angle, filled with light and has spectacular panoramic water views throughout. Everything Mr. Wadia touches turns out elegant, perfectly proportioned and timeless. He is a true genius and wonderful to work worth. His decorators and landscape designers are equally talented which insures that all aspects of the project complement each other. Our experience with Wadia Associates has been extraordinary and we highly recommend them.

Dinyar Wadia’s Wadia Associates and Wadia Construction designed and built our house in New Canaan, CT. The house is approximately 12,000 square feet and is a brick Normandy manor design. First and foremost we are absolutely thrilled with the final result. We truly have the house of our dreams. Secondly, Dinyar and his team made the design process and construction an enjoyable and exciting project for our whole family. We are gratified for Dinyar’s constant personal attention to our project from the first design meeting, to groundbreaking, to the completion of the final punch list, and end of the project. Dinyar was always available to us to discuss design issues, big and small. He accompanied us to pick out interior doorknobs and hinges - just one of the many many examples of his personal attention and devotion to our home and us. This is the first home we have had built – we were new to the process. Dinyar and his team prepared us for each stage of the process with clear explanations on what we should expect, and what was expected of us as partners in the project. Keeping costs down and staying within budget was extremely important to us. Dinyar was very sensitive to this, and offered many cost saving solutions without compromising the integrity and quality of our home. Both the design team, and the construction team paid constant attention to costs and budget, with the happy result that the final cost was just under the original budget. The financial transparency during construction was noteworthy. We saw every invoice from every subcontractor. Every single item was accounted for down to the last nail. We also saw all the bids from competing subcontractors on all major pieces of the job. Either Dinyar or his construction manager was available to explain why each job was awarded. Our best decision after hiring Dinyar as our architect was hiring Dinyar to build our home. There was no need, as a homeowner to intermediate between our builder and architect. A common complaint I have heard from friends who have built homes, is the constant tension between their builder and architect as they point fingers at each other when inevitable difficulties arise on the job. We, of course, experienced none of this. All interests were properly aligned; Wadia Associates as architect, Wadia Construction as builder, and us as clients. The cost plus nature of the construction agreement made the decision to have Wadia Construction build our house an easy one. No conflicts of interest, perfect alignment of architect and general contractor, and complete transparency with respect to cost. We felt very much in financial control of the whole process. If we had gone over budget we would have had only ourselves to blame. The quality of Dinyar’s work is well known and speaks for itself. No one builds a more beautiful house, and our home has exceeded our expectations in every respect. Dinyar and his whole team at Wadia Associates and Wadia Construction deserve at least as much credit for their unfailing and complete accessibility, as well as their constant focus on their client’s priorities whether those be aesthetic or financial. After retaining Wadia Associates, we were surprised to learn that Dinyar does projects as small as pool houses, small renovations, and even a treehouse as well as the large homes he is known for. We have and would recommend Dinyar and his team for any project large or small.
