Warmup US - Floor Heating Systems

I had outdoor cables installed 3 years ago in my sidewalks and driveway by a certified contractor and electrician. They worked fine and were great until suddenly this year, one section of the sidewalk stopped working. There is a break in one of the wires. There has been no subsequent construction; the sidewalk is perfectly level with no defects, and there was no known damage. I live in Pittsburgh PA and they determined it is a break in the sidewalk. Initially, he said there is a 30-year warranty if installed with drawings and a certified contractor, and then he said that because it is a break, it is not covered. I basically have to rip up my whole sidewalk to fix it, or deal with shovelling again, which defeats the whole process. They also did not have any electricians in my area to address it. I would NOT use this company again.

My 4iE unit needed replacing in my home. I spoke to Mike at Warmup tech support to check if I could upgrade to the 6iE unit. Mike took the time I needed explaining all the answers to the questions I threw at him. Mike was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I will be recommending Warmup products in the future based on this conversation. Thanks for making my day brighter.

Warmup has failed us on our heated floor project. They shipped the wrong length wire and two weeks later have still not been able to deliver the correct length cable. Recommend using another brand, customer service is terrible.

My sister needed to find a solution to heat and store her bee hives in northern Wisconsin through the winter. I mentioned it to my neighbor and he suggested I contact Warmup. I was skeptical they would take the time to assist with such an abstract one off project. Boy was I wrong! They designed a system for me that will accommodate 4 hives in an un heated shed. Keeping them in the goldilocks zone under 42 degree’s F, without trying to heat the shed. Amazing system! Flew out there last weekend and ran a new branch circuit to the shed. Constructed a heater unit in thin set between two pieces of plywood. The unit can be moved against the wall for the summer months.

We purchased 2 systems for heating our kitchen and living room. Whenever we call we get to speak with a person immediately. While other companies are making excuses for poor technical support or service. Warmup is providing top of the line support and assistance. Thank you Maria and support team.

Had to replace a previous model when it stopped working after 3-1/2 years. Our old model had a portrait-oriented screen and the electric box and hole in the wall was oriented for that. New model is landscape orientation. We called the company to ask about replacing it and they sent us a template which was supposed to resolve issues. When we went to replace, we would have had to chop a new hole in the wall, install a new gang box and patch the wall. We installed it sideways, it’s gonna have to do. I will put a photo on the screen to disguise it. Disappointed.

I cannot begin to say enough great things about our new Warmup floor. We installed the DCM-Pro Uncoupling System along with the 4iE Smart Thermostat in a fully remodeled master bathroom with Walker Zanger porcelain tile on the walls and floor. The peel and stick membrane (the mat) made the installation quick and easy. Our tradesmen all loved it. The floor heats up so quickly and the thermostat can be controlled on my iPhone via their app so nicely!! The control on the wall looks like a mini ipad and is very easy to set up and use. Last week it got rather chilly here in Philly and from my phone I cranked the "target heat" to 82 degrees for the first time using the system. In only about 20 minutes the floor and whole room was toasty warm and within 30 minutes I was turning it down as it performed like a champ. The project is still underway waiting for some fixtures and glass work to complete it but so excited with the Warmup radiant heat we keep playing with it and using the shower and tub in this unfinished space anyway. The product is first rate just like their management. Thank you Warmup!!!

We had a very unique project converting our school bus into a tiny home. This demanded a very particular heating solution that didn’t take up very much flooring thickness (headspace is very limited in a bus ;)! The install was super simple and direct and they send you everything you need to do it well! We tested it out on our road trip out west and it worked FLAWLESSLY. The thermostats they provide look nice and are very customizable for a program that works for your needs!

My driveway has Warmup heating mat with controller system installed in 2018. When the heating mats work, it works like a charm!

If you are in the market for floor heaters, be sure to avoid WarmUp. If anything goes wrong with their product, the customer service will offer to rent you a tool so you can figure it out on your own. What they will in no case offer to do, is send a technician to to help, this despite their offices being 20 minutes away. Buy from someone that stands behind the product, not from WarmUp.
