We contacted Washa Remodeling for a 2 and a half bathroom remodel of our home. From the onset they were professional, punctual, and courteous of our time. Their great attitudes are a very welcome change from some of the other local companies we had tried before. During the initial consultation we brought our ideas and they had several great recommendations to further improve the design we had in mind. Their experience improved upon our vision and made it great. Throughout the process they were with us through every step of the way. Every question was answered promptly, and someone always picked up the phone. They helped us set up appointments, and the suppliers they recommended were great in helping us pick out complementing colors for the tile, countertops, and fixtures. Their construction team was punctual every day of the remodel, and when they left they made sure the area was clean and safe for our cats. The craftsmanship on all parts of the bathrooms was fantastic – in January it will have been a year without problems. I’m very particular on having grout aligned and evenly weighted, and they surpassed even my lofty expectations. Our bathroom is a bit oddly shaped so they walked through and confirmed the layouts with tile in hand so I could visualize it and make sure everything was perfect. Overall we are very impressed with Washa and will definitely reach out to them in the future for other remodels.

Washa is great to work with, they are professional and put you the customer first. I thought that I needed new windows and had multiple company's out to give me quotes, they all did and shared why their windows were the best. Washa Construction came out and asked, "...is there a reason you feel you need new window, how long do you plan live at the home?" They asked question to make sure I was making the best decision for me and my family. Turns out I did not need new windows just some adjustments. They set up the job and saved me thousands of dollars to use on other projects that truly needed the attention.

I've worked with Washa Construction on commercial and residential projects, both professionally and personally on projects for my own home. I reliably return to them for the same reasons that I discerned from our first projects together -- the arrival of Washa's crews always felt like the cavalry riding over the hill, prepared to do what needs doing, and not stopping until it's done. From start to finish, their operation provides high-level, thorough, professional construction services to their clients. During project conception, their field staff are easy to schedule, they reliably communicate, and they show up at scheduled times. Once on site, their project managers draw upon years of design and construction experience to find cost-saving and time-saving alternatives that inevitably yield a better project. They provide real estimates for the real work they provide, and costing is transparent and fair. I always prefer builders like Washa who counsel their clients to budget for the worst-case scenario, and whose operations and skill in turn reliably bring projects in under budget. Washa's crews practice excellent dust control and clean-up, and they accommodate site preparation and site care to the customer's express needs. Crews work a full day, and their progress is undeniable at the end of each work day. Every subcontractor they've brought into in our projects has brought the same integrity, honesty, and quality to the project as Washa's own staff. And you'd be hard-pressed to find crew foreman and site leads who so reliably communicate with clients. The projects Washa and I have completed together were performed at or before schedule, and at or below the budgeted cost. Call-backs were infrequent, reasonable, and immediately addressed. Their office staff are accessible and promptly generate invoices and respond to questions. This is a company that makes a living by building with quality, honesty, and integrity. They'll continue to be my first call for future jobs, and it's a pleasure to provide them a 5-star recommendation here on Houzz.

washa did a garage 2nd floor project room addition as well as adding a 3 story elevator to our house. steve and adam spent at least 4 hours up front determining what we really wanted and provided several alternative designs. adam's final design was wonderful--the neighbors and friends say about the outside, wasn't it like this always? The design blended in with the rest of the house and roofline. Adam pushed the west wall out 7 feet so the elevator took absolutely no space from the interior; in fact added about 50 sq ft to 3rd floor. the interior elevator doors were a perfect match to existing doors and look just like a closet from the outside. washa worked seamlessly with waupaca elevator company. workmanship was superb; patrick is a true craftsman as lead worker. Unlike just about all our other remodel jobs, the punchlist actually got done without any lag. So as far as the design and build, we couldn't be happier. the subs showed up on time and their work was well done. adam did a wonderful job working with the city on some variances and getting the roofline to be about 1 1/2" under the maximum. The only minor complaint was the accounting could have been more timely in terms of heads up on how we were doing vs. budget. We have done 6 major remodel jobs prior so are old hands at things costing slightly more than budget. but there could have been more timely heads up given. again, nothing major but still the only irritant in a completely satisfactory job and relationship. would highly recommend washa for minor or as in our case, major remodel job.

Exceeded our expectations in every respect! We are so incredibly happy with the final product. After three other remodel projects with other contractors, we had a lot to compare with. We wish we had known about them years ago!

Can't say enough good things about Washa Construction in this limited space. They took on a basement finish project for me, including asbestos removal, design, plumbing, heat and cooling, electrical and all construction. They also did a small kitchen remodeling project for me. Everything came out better than I could have imagined. I look forward to hiring them for my next home renovation and design project. The carpenter for Washa Construction who reframed our backdoor, installed a new door, and installed the keyless entry did an impeccable job. His attention to detail was amazing. Very high quality workmanship.

We have hired Washa Construction for two projects in two different homes--a screen porch in a previous house and a complete kitchen remodel in our current home. They were recommended by friends who had worked with Washa, and I would highly recommend Washa to anyone. They are friendly, honest, reliable, and terrific at what they do. Our kitchen remodel was a huge project (removed a load-bearing wall, moved a doorway, gutted the whole space), and we were happy with them throughout the entire 4+ month project. When issues did arise, they were easy to talk to and quick to work with us to resolve concerns. Steve, Adam, Pat, and the whole crew are a great bunch of very talented people. We will definitely hire them again for our next project.

My garage needed repairs -- rotted siding and door framing. I also wanted old interior shelving torn out and hauled away and new, more convenient storage solutions installed. Not a fancy job, but (for me) an important one. Washa accomplished all tasks perfectly, from the initial consult/estimate right through to tweaking things as I made changes. Tom, who did the work, was a talented carpenter, with good suggestions to carry out my ideas. He worked very efficiently, cleaning up carefully, and was very pleasant in all interactions. Washa coordinated their work with the painters and the garage-door installers to insure a smooth garage-update experience for me. I would definitely choose them again for any job, large or small.

I hired Washa to completely remodel a master bathroom. They were not the cheapest bid but they gave us everything we wanted without any sacrifice in quality. They have excellent customer service and the team was very professional. Any questions or concerns were handled quickly. The final result was stunning. I've already used them for several other smaller house projects and plan to use them more in the future.
