Jessica and her team designed and installed our master bath redo back in 2022. Design wise she was/is a rock star. From day one she was thoughtful, informative and realistic. We came in with a tighter budget and while we did end up expanding it a little, she was able to meet us in the middle and really guide us in not only bringing our thoughts together into a cohesive vision but educate us - making it feel like we were investing in all the right areas to meet our goals. The installation did have a few bumps but we were satisfied with resolutions provided and her willingness to discuss concerns we had when they did arise. Communication was always clear, professional and prompt with no hidden costs. Should the stars align I would gladly welcome the chance for her to have a go at my kitchen. I would say our projects style is a bit of mid-century modern meets contemporary but I think she could wrangle pretty much any style.

We have had the privilege of working with NOR on two major remodels. The first was a kitchen, and the second—our most recent project—was nothing short of a complete transformation. When we began, our home was in very poor shape. The mechanical systems were failing, the structure was tired, and the spaces were no longer livable. NOR stepped in and led a comprehensive renovation that replaced every mechanical system (water, electrical, HVAC) a brought new life to the kitchen and main bathroom, added a whole new bathroom and two bedrooms, and reconfigured the staircase. The difference is extraordinary. What was once a house on the verge of falling apart is now a home we absolutely love—beautiful, functional, and designed with a timeless character that honors its history. NOR took great care to respect the age of the house and my desire to keep the design aligned with its original style, while still delivering the modern functionality and comfort we needed. What impressed us most was NOR’s thoughtful approach throughout the project. They consistently found creative solutions to control costs without ever compromising design or quality. Their communication was clear, timely, and collaborative, making a complex and extensive project feel manageable and even enjoyable. Their team of subcontractors reflected the same professionalism and high standards, and it was clear NOR only works with experienced and trusted partners. When challenges inevitably arose, NOR’s creative problem-solving turned them into opportunities for improvement, leaving us with results better than we originally envisioned. The pocket door to our master bathroom was broken (no longer on tracks or functioning). NOR's team of Peter and Martina did a great repair in the tight space of our condo. They took down a cabinet, cut out a square of drywall to access the door , installed solid new tracks and rollers, plastered the drywall back, repainted, and reinstalled the cabinet. The door opens and closes perfectly now and the wall looks like new. Totally professional to work with as was NOR owner, Brian. Highly recommended. These folks are real craftspeople. Four other firms turned down the job.

We have worked with NOR Design and Construction and Jessica Bell on multiple projects incuding remodels of our kitchen, powder room, master bathroom, family bathroom, laundry room, and some upgrades to our fireplace and pantries. Jessica has very high standards, and she is very hands-on to make absoutely sure that every subcontractor completes the work to the standard she has set. Her attention to detail and creative solutions result in beautiful projects that put our vision into reality. The projects are completed on time and on budget. She also make sure that there is minimum disruption to our house during construction. We cannot imagine working with anyone else and highly recommend NOR Design and Construction and Jessica Bell.

We were very impressed and pleased with NOR Construction with regard to our small bathroom remodel! First of all, we were very new to remodeling of any kind and Jessica was a great communicator and made the whole process seem very easy and straightforward. But most impressive was how well scheduled the work was. They did not schedule any workers until they knew they would have all the necessary parts, people and equipment. Once they gave us our 3 week installation schedule they were able to start and finish the work in that window. Also pleasing was that the budget for the job never changed - no surprises. We highly recommend NOR Construction for any home remodeling work.

Paul from NOR Design & Construction came to our house last week to install a telescopic downdraft fan in our kitchen island after the big box store we purchased it from failed to follow through with the scheduled install. There were challenges with the area that had been previously cut out of the granite and the space where the fan extended down under the cooktop that required ingenuity and rerouting of the vent to prevent misalignment -- but Paul handled it like a pro and resolved every issue encountered in record time and left us with a perfectly installed fan. I've already scheduled them to redo my primary bathroom in the coming months and excited to see the transformation.

Jessica is amazing to work with every step of the way. I just finished my second project with her and it won't be my last. I would recommend NOR to anybody.

The NOR Team did a fantastic job fixing our sunroom. Another contractor installed a leaking sunroom which didn't pass city inspection but NOR Design & Construction came to our rescue and was able to fix it and make it into a wonderful useable sunroom. The communication was fantastic, the team was always on time, the project was also finished on time and the quality of the work is top notch. We couldn't be happier with their work!

Jessica and her team did an amazing job with our bathroom remodel. Everyone they used was reliable and professional. My husband and myself would recommend them to anyone looking to have a remodel done. We will be using them again when it's time for a kitchen remodel.

My wife and I wanted our guest bath and master bath remodeled so we set out to find the right contractor. I used to be a contractor in my younger days so I pretty much knew what to look for, questions to ask and recognize the "gut feeling". Jessica and her project foreman Justin, came out and chatted with us during the interview process and we instantly felt a connection, as well as, their plan and ideas impressed us. We hired NOR Design & Construction during the COVID-19 chaos and were a little nervous about people coming into the home but the entire process was made very smooth for us. Not only was every precaution used to protect our home, but masks were used, sign in sheets were used to keep track of who and when someone entered our home, a "wash station" was set up for employees to sanitize and wash their hands was in place, and a Port-o-Potty was set up so that no contactors wouldn't use our facilities. Now lets talk about a HUGE concern when hiring a contractor...COMMUNICATION and DEPENDABILITY. Jessica and Justin set up a group text with myself and they were in constant communication with us throughout the entire project! Any questions, concerns or anything else was made extremely smooth and made us feel so comfortable. The project had someone at our house every day from start to finish! Honestly, I can't say enough positives about NOR Design & Construction. If you are thinking of a Bath or Kitchen remodel, we highly recommend them!
