After a long search we found the right contractor for our whole house “refresh” (kitchen, four bathrooms, laundry room, flooring, tile, painting, lighting, and cosmetic improvements). David did an excellent job managing the project and scheduling of subcontractors. He is knowledgeable, dependable, helpful, patient, respectful, stayed in communication every step of the way, and saw the project through to the last detail. All subcontractors he used did excellent work. It was a pleasure to work with him. He is clearly a person of integrity with a focus on quality work and customer satisfaction. As first time renovators we are now enjoying our “new” home and without hesitation would recommend David and Crabtree Remodeling.

Crabtree Remodeling completed a master bath remodel for us in March 0f 2026. The project finished with the quoted price and delivered just what we had hoped for. We completely remodeled every feature of the bathroom. David sees that each trade completes the job with perfection. The last two days were spent with David touching up paint and any detail that did not meet his standards. I would recommend him without any hesitation.

David Crabtree did a great job with our project! He took an inspirational idea and creatively sketched it onto our home facade to make a workable plan for us. During the build, he kept us informed since we were away most of the time. He was helpful and patient with changes, and chose integrity over profit in more than one instance (when we likely would not have known the difference). David is responsive, reliable and honest, and he and his team worked hard to make our vision a reality. We will use Crabtree Remodeling again!

We partnered with David on a 4 BR renovation and had a great experience. Our timeline was extremely tight, as we were expecting baby #2 and were aiming to complete the renovation ahead of the baby's arrival, and David and his crew worked tirelessly to help us hit our deadline. David did an excellent job being transparent with us and communicating key deadlines and milestones, especially as we navigated the holiday season and winter weather. David is also extremely hard working and would not be onsite to oversee subs but also do his own work, such as helping with demo or punch list items. I'd highly recommend David for future contracting opportunities. He is honest, transparent, and communicative and was a great partner throughout the process end-to-end.

David (Sensitive Information Hidden) helped us remodel involving complicated addition in Berkeley Lake GA. The project turn out as planned, on time and a little over budget (change orders). More than a year later we noticed a small gap in trim of exterior siding next to a post to porch that had since warped/bowed. i called David about problem and he stopped by within a week. He assessed problem and properly decided to replace post and trim out gap. Pleased with result.

David was great. Our biggest goal was attention to detail and getting things right. Working with Crabtree was a good experience. David was also very helpful when we picked our stain for the hardwood floor. He helped us by meeting us at a showroom to make decisions. We are very happy with our kitchen, laundry room and hardwood floor refinishing.

After meeting with several builders, my wife and I hired Crabtree Remodeling to completely rebuild our deck and create an extensive tiled patio on the terrace level. We also added a custom grilling area, under decking, and custom spiral staircase. David and his team were incredibly helpful throughout the process and worked with us through multiple changes along the way. The communication was great during every stage and David was always happy to answer our endless questions. The quality of work was superb and we couldn’t be happier with our new patio/deck. David’s budget was also spot on and he readily issued credits when we came in under budget on certain items. My family and I recently purchased a 20-year-old brick house in a terrific community. The 4 bed/4.5 bath three-level house had good bones but needed updating. Our real-estate agent (Matthew Schwartzhoff, who is great), recommended that we meet with David Crabtree to discuss our project. David worked for a large-scale firm building million-dollar homes long before starting his own firm. My wife and I selected David after meeting with him and several other contractors. By every measure, David demonstrated that he was the most knowledgeable about how to manage such a large project. His bid was not the lowest, but it was fair and reasonable, and he was the most transparent and honest about what was required to accomplish our goals. I'm an attorney. David's standard contract was clear and fair. The clarifications that I presented to David were well received and included in the agreement. Our budget was in the low six figures. We fully renovated all the bathrooms, updated the kitchen, all the flooring and staircases were redone, we changed all the lighting fixtures, painted every inch of the interior, custom closets, and some brickwork on the exterior. David did an outstanding job managing all of his tradesmen and procuring all of the materials needed to complete the entire job. David's tradesmen are amazing! David is somewhat obsessive about getting things done right. We were grateful for his obsessive nature. We wanted someone hyper-focused on getting things done correctly within our timeframe and our budget. When problems arose that were within his responsibility, David promptly fixed them. When my wife and I neglected to address something that we were responsible for, David worked with us on a solution. My wife and I initiated several change orders to expand on our wish list. David was always very accommodating. In the end, my family is enjoying a wonderful home. David maintained our trust throughout the process. We are truly grateful for his expertise, diligence, work-ethic, and his honesty. I highly recommend David and Crabtree Remodeling without any reservations.

We recently used Crabtree Remodeling for a main level kitchen (and hardwood floor) remodel and a basement remodel. They were able to reuse my old kitchen cabinets to create a basement kitchen. The old cabinets look like new. They rearranged the basement walls to make a bedroom, bath, living room, closet and sitting area. The main level kitchen was gutted and replaced with all new custom cabinets. Floors and painting were also done on both levels. David gave us weekly updates and was always prompt in replying to any questions we had. He was honest and accommodating. We are very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend him.

David is a great contractor providing quality management and workmanship at a fair price. He was able to organize the schedule of subcontractors in a fashion so as to limit the disruption of our home. He remodeled four bathrooms including flooring, cabinets, and tubs. We highly recommend David!
