My husband and I learned we needed a new roof so we knew this would be a perfect time to add solar as well. We wanted to find a company that did both roofing and solar. After contacting 3 highly rated and reviewed companies, we chose Solar Earth Choice. We chose them because of Sophia's incredible attention to detail from the very first phone call. She managed every aspect and I could call her at any time on her cell phone with any questions. Sophia did not just manage the sale, she managed every step of the project from start to finish. I could not have asked for more. She has a resource for every little thing you might want in regards to your solar and roofing. We wanted to add rain gutters with leaf filters and rain barrels. She managed all of it. We started on October 2, the work took 2 weeks, and on November 2, DWP installed our meter and we are up and running! I have NEVER worked with a contractor with this level of professionalism. Sophia has raised the bar!

She makes you feel like family, takes you under her wing, guides you throughout the entire process, all while being a very empathetic and sweet person. Her colleague, Ben, is just as nice and accommodating. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand the solar process and that you are happy with it. The crew that I met (Zack, Paul, and Armondo) did a wonderful job being speedy as well as precise. They are also very professional as well as personable. Great solar professional company. All parts of the solar system has a 25 year warranty. Even the final building inspector was impressed with the quality of the equipment and how professional the job was.

I would strongly recommend using Solar Earth Choice if you are considering converting your home to solar power for electricity . Sophia and Ben show professionalism that is hard to match. They are so organized that they meet every deadline and are aware of every detail. Sophia and Ben as well as the technicians are superior in what they do. Initially, Ben and Sophia come to your home. Ben takes a look at several of your electric bills to determine your average usage. Then both Sophia and Ben take that average usage and construct a system that is appropriate for your home. Sophia is the educator who teaches you how solar power is taken from the sun and converted into energy that you use in your home. They tell you specifically what equipment is needed for your system, such as how many solar panels. Sophia also explains the financing part of the project in a clear and understandable way. She also gives you information on how to set up a portal on the internet to communicate with the financing institution. You can always call them if you have questions about financing. Ben and Sophia both clearly explain the steps you have to go through in order to get a solar power system for your home. I live in a condo and Sophia had to get it approved by the Home Owner's Association. They explain the process from beginning to end. Once you get approved, the fun begins. The technical team comes out to install your system on your roof. Ben even allowed me to go up on the roof to see the actually system instead of just looking at photographs. THAT WAS AMAZING!! Ben also installs a modem so you can monitor your system on your cell phone. THAT'S COOL!! Once they are done with the installation, an inspector comes to inspect the system to make sure everything is they way it should be, including shutting on the system to test it. I got to turn it off. The next step is for the system to be applied to a complicated network so your production can be measured. What is fantastic is how you learn that you will be producing your own energy and what you don't use can be sold to a neighbor. You get credit on your electric bill for your overages. By using the sun's energy you are not depending on oil and therefore the cost to use electricity in your home is less than the way you usually obtain it. I can't stress enough, how professional, how warm and friendly Sophia and Ben are and you should strongly consider using Solar Earth Choice to convert your home into a solar energy home!!

The original sales pitch was highly informative and low pressure. The product and installation were surprisingly affordable. The installation process was quick and professional. The customer service was (and still is) top notch. Overall, a great experience!

I seldom take the time to write these rating reviews. However, I needed to make an exception in the case of Solar Earth Choice. I have been interested in renewable and environmentally clean energy for a good while, not to mention the savings on my energy needs. I own a pool, and all-electric spa, and two three-ton air conditioning units. Needless-to-say, the cost of our monthly energy bills was well over three hundred dollars per month on average. I had begun my research and went through a lot of information and companies. Unfortunately they were not fully transparent. Around this time, I learned that a friend at my church was a solar broker, meaning that he did not sell or install solar systems. He recommended me to go with Solar Earth Choice. I will admit that I expressed my concern to my solar broker friend that Solar Earth Choice would be able to do a good job and provide after installation support at such a reasonable per watt cost. My friend assured that Solar Earth Choice was among the best in the industry. Well, all that said, I can tell you that my experience with Solar Earth Choice far exceeded my expectations. I found this company to be very honest and transparent in their dealings with me. Their communication is the best that I’ve experienced. This includes every phase of the project. And what is extra special is that this excellent communication has continued since the finish of my project in July of 2017. Every time that I have texted a question or concern to my Solar Earth representative, I receive a reply almost immediately. Also, the craftsmanship was very clean and professional. I am a real stickler for excellence in craftsmanship and the Solar Earth Choice team exceeded my expectations. They only use the best, most efficient and reliable solar panels and connecting equipment. Their craft professionals are prompt and courteous. There is a quality control manager on-site throughout the installation process who is not an actual installation engineer / craftsperson, but is coordinating the job to ensure excellence and prompt work flow. The process of upgrading to a solar system for your home can seem overwhelming. However, Solar Earth Choice does a wonderful job of taking the worry and hassle out of the solar experience. And what is really cool is that Solar Earth is continually monitoring my system. Even though I have an app on my phone that allows me to see my system energy production in numerous practical ways, the Solar Earth representative monitoring my system noticed a decline in kw production well before I would have, and called me to tell me that they were scheduling a technician to come to my house to check the system for optimal electric energy production. And this was at no additional cost to me. This tech showed-up on-time and quickly resolved the issue and my power generation was restored to normal for this time of year. Simply amazing. My project with Solar Earth Choice was a surprisingly pleasant experience. And I have a fantastic post-project relationship with Solar Earth Choice. I really appreciate this company.
