We rented a house that was completely redone and renovated by Trio. The home was well done inside and out. There was a modern feel to it, obvious attention to details, and you could tell the home was in good hands. The before and after pictures were night and day. Before there was only 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, but after the remodel there was an added loft with a bedroom and office space, and an additional master bedroom with a bathroom attached, making the home feel very spacious and updated. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to update their living spaces or total home.

I highly recommend Trio Design and Build for any design or construction project – large or small. It was a pleasure to work with Adam and we would do so again. We bought a house in Minnetonka as a rental investment opportunity. The nightmare started a few months later during a storm when a neighbor’s huge oak tree fell and smashed the house. Many contractors came out to look and then declined to make a bid because it was clear the remodeling scope was extensive and would be a big project. The City of Minnetonka was also involved since the house was nonconforming on the lot and they wanted to see progress happening ASAP. And there were many insurance hoops to jump through since the house needed to be built back to current building codes. Basically the house was a total loss. It was clear from the beginning that Adam had the professionalism, expertise, and mindset to manage the project and bring it to completion. He went above and beyond navigating the entire project, patiently working with the insurance company to get us a settlement larger than I believe anyone else would have been able to negotiate, and deftly managing our expectations along the way. The entire floorplan was redone, and we enlarged the house. Adam had great architectural suggestions and his crew and subcontractors did excellent work. We are extremely pleased with the finished result and are grateful for Adam’s management of the project.

Call Adam at Trio Design! We did a major kitchen addition to our South Minneapolis home. Adam was responsive and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. His quote was realistic and in line with a few other quotes I received. During the design phase he suggested some changes that really made a huge difference on the completed product. His team was fast, professional and extremely skilled. The project came in under budget and finished ahead of schedule. I have been recommending him to family and friends any chance I get.

Trio Design and Build did an excellent job helping us repairing poor workmanship from the previous owner. We were in an unfortunate situation that left us without our only bathroom, and Trio Design and Build came through with a quick turnaround time to make the necessary repairs needed to make sure everything was back to code. The crew were very friendly and professional as well! I would 100% recommend them, and for sure will hire them for our next projects!

We had some water damage (leaky dishwasher) and needed to repair our kitchen, main floors, and basement ceiling. We had the pleasure of working with Trio Design. From start to finish, the service went beyond our expectations. In fact, Adam (owner) even guided us through the homeowner's insurance claim process, communicating directly with our adjuster to negotiate a much more helpful reimbursement. In addition to the repairs needed, we decided to update our home and, through Trio Design, contracted with a designer (Kim Niosi - also highly recommend https://www.niosidesign.com/). We had a wish list and a budget and they came up with a design that not only met both needs but also creatively optimized our kitchen and mudroom space. Kim truly has a gift for seeing potential and beauty in any space and challenged us to think outside of the box with her kitchen redesign. Adam kept us true to our budget. They work very well together. We are so glad we trusted them (it was a scary leap of faith, honestly) because we simply love the customized renovations and modern design of our beautiful new home. Finally, we had to relocate during the construction phase of the project, and surprisingly, despite supply chain issues due to COVID, Adam was able to stick to the original timeline and we moved back to our home on time. Honestly, this was absolutely CLUTCH because we are full-time working parents with a toddler, 2 dogs, and a cat. Adam (owner) is honest, knowledgable, responsive, and detail-oriented. It is obvious that he loves his work and makes a point to personally see through every detail of his projects. It was a pleasure working with him. I will definitely work with Trio Design for any future renovations, big or small. Highly recommend!

Trio Design created our house plans, and they turned out perfect. Adam at Trio Design was prompt and professional!
