We had our 60inch tv installed in a difficult place over an old mantle in a house that is about 100 years old. Rather than try to figure out what was behind the wall ourselves, we reached out to Lucent to do the job and recommend a good tv mount that swivels and sits out from the wall. I originally hired Lucent Controls to install automatic blinds throughout my condo, as I have quite a few windows and the manual opening+closing of all blinds was a task I never looked forward to. As a result, it usually meant I kept the blinds closed 90% of the time. I was apprehensive about the motorized blinds' option at first, since I had pursued that option in the past with several other blinds installers, but had been told the systems tended to fail quite a bit. After talking with Russell (owner of Lucent Controls) about the project, he indicated it was just the opposite. Since their installation, I can say that the motorized blinds have been more reliable than the original manual blinds. The overall installation process required a few visits, but the time to get them installed was more than acceptable. Lucent Controls clearly knew how to install all components in a reliable manner, and the system has worked great since. As I was so impressed with the first project, I then hired Lucent Controls to implement a much more comprehensive Home Automation solution for my condo. This included new lighting, remote door entry, home security, as well as audio and video components. The end result is that I have a fully integrated Control4 Home Automation system, controllable in various ways including wall panels, Control4 tablet and even mobile phone. I have the ability to control pretty much everything in my condo with ease, even when not in the country. The final look of my condo is even more streamlined than ever, where in the past you would have seen unsightly bundles of wires, and now you'd be hard pressed to find a single wire showing in my unit. I couldn't be more pleased with the knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail that Lucent Controls displayed during all facets of the proposals and implementation of each solution. These solutions were always done in timely and cost effective manners as well. I will definitely be using Lucent Controls again in the future, and I would recommend the company to anyone else who is looking for such services.
